Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-like felt having cavities in the planar direction. <P>SOLUTION: Wool fibers are mixed to prepare webs 11 and 13 (700×1,000 mm, 620 g/m<SP>2</SP>) with a carding machine (not shown). Twelve PP bands (packing strings) of a length corresponding to the width of the webs are arranged on the web 11 and the web 13 is then superimposed thereon. An adequate amount of water is sprinkled with a shower and the whole web is then arranged on a lower cloth of a hardener board. The web is then covered with an upper cloth and a felt from the upper side and the whole is inserted between an upper and a lower hot platens and fulled. After the fulling, the felt is naturally dried and the PP bands are taken out to thereby complete the felt 10 having the cavities 15. When supports such as wires are introduced into the cavities, the felt can be formed into a three-dimensional shape. Furthermore, even a bed mat containing Kiyoseki (a mineral emitting strong negative ions and far infrared light, produced in Gunma Prefecture) can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT

Description

The present invention relates to a sheet-like felt in which at least one cavity (hollow portion, for example, a tube shape) is provided on the felt surface, and a method for producing the same.

Felt is generally used as household goods, office supplies, industrial products and the like. Felt is manufactured using natural fiber, chemical fiber, and synthetic fiber as raw materials, and the finished product is often used in the form of a sheet. And it is called press felt, needle felt, molded felt or the like due to the difference in the manufacturing method.

The sheet-like felt is used after being cut into a predetermined shape according to the purpose of use. For example, the sheet-like felt is used as a part of a member in the mattress by using a plane as it is. Even so, an example in which the sheet itself has a function and is used as a bedding is not common. Conventionally, there is a case in which it is desired to obtain the acupressure effect using the protrusions on the sheets. In that case, the sheet itself is further provided with a protrusion, or a bag-like body for storing the sheet provided with the protrusion is prepared separately. There was a need (refer patent document 1 and patent document 2).
In addition, the conventional sheet-like felt is used as it is, but the felt itself is flexible even when trying to make a three-dimensional shape by taking advantage of the texture and feel of the felt. It was difficult to use, other than “paste”, “sew”, etc. on it.
To deal with these problems, it was necessary to be able to insert other objects inside the felt.

The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and it is an object of the present invention to industrially provide a sheet-like felt in which one or a plurality of cavities (hollow portions, for example, tubes) are provided along the surface of the felt. And
The sheet-like felt according to the present invention is characterized by including a cavity extending from one side to the opposite side. The cavity has a substantially uniform shape, and may have a bottomed shape from one side to the opposite side. The cavity has a substantially uniform shape, and a solid, for example, a granular body, a rod-shaped body, a light emitting body, or the like can be inserted into the cavity by post-processing.
Furthermore, in the present invention, a plurality of the cavities are provided.
In one embodiment of the present invention, a granular material is inserted into the cavity at an interval, and the granular material may be a precious stone.
In another aspect of the present invention, a rod-like body made of a wire or elastic plastic is inserted into the cavity.
Furthermore, in another aspect of the present invention, a light emitter is inserted into the cavity, and the light emitter is an LED.
Furthermore, the present invention is a method for producing a sheet-like felt, in which a belt-like body is disposed on a web made of a desired fiber from one side of the web toward the opposite side, and has the same shape as the web. After the webs are stacked and contracted, the above-mentioned belt-like body is pulled out to form a cavity. The strip may be made of plastic.

Various effects can be obtained by inserting various things into the cavity of the sheet-like felt. For example, in the case of a sheet-like felt in which a granule is inserted into a cavity and spaced apart to form a protrusion, a massage effect is obtained by laying under the sheet and the effect of the softness of the felt and the protrusion of the granule. It is done. In addition, when a wire, a foldable metal bar, or an elastic plastic bar that can be molded is inserted into the cavity, the felt can be easily molded without losing the flexibility and hygroscopicity of the felt itself. For example, it can be used for a shade of a stand, a partition, or the like. Conventionally, in order to form a three-dimensional shape using felt, processes such as “paste” and “sewing” are necessary. However, the present invention simplifies the operation and reduces the manufacturing cost by omitting these processes. I can plan.
The sheet-like felt of the present invention can be used as a lighting fixture by inserting a light-emitting body such as an LED or a light bulb into a hollow portion to emit light.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below.
An outline process for obtaining the sheet-like felt of the present invention will be described. As shown in FIG. 1, wool fiber (or a blended fiber of rayon, cashmere, silk, etc.) is blended and spread over a web 11 made on a card machine, and the width of the web is spread on the web. Strips made of polypropylene cut to length (for example, a shape like a packing string) are arranged at equal intervals from one side of the web to the other side. On top of that, a web 13 similar to that described above is placed, sprayed with water in a shower, and then contracted by a contractor. In the shrinking process, the portion where the belt-like body is present is not shrunk. Therefore, when the strip-like body is pulled out after the shrinking process, the trace becomes a cavity (hollow part), and the sheet-like felt 10 having the cavity part 15 is completed.

Next, the manufacturing method of the sheet-like felt of this invention is demonstrated in detail based on FIG. For example, wool fibers are mixed as a felt material, and the webs 11 and 13 are prepared by a card machine (not shown). Here, two webs 11 and 13 of 700 mm × 1000 mm and 620 g / m 2 were prepared. Twelve strips 12 made of polypropylene having a length corresponding to the width of the web are arranged on a single web 11 at equal intervals, and the web 13 is placed thereon. Then, spray an appropriate amount of water from above with a shower. Next, the entire web is placed on the lower cloth 24 of the harder board 20 as shown in FIG. Then, the upper cloth 23 and the felt 22 are covered from above, and the upper and lower heating plates 21 are sandwiched between the two. The compression pressure (exen, ie, the eccentric width of the rotating shaft) was 6, and the fir time was 5 minutes. The mass of the sheet-like felt 10 (shown in a) including the completed cavity 15 after shrinkage is 1240 g, the thickness is 4.8 mm to 5.2 mm, and the cavity 15 (shown enlarged in b). Is 5.3 mm to 5.7 mm. After shrinking, the felt is air-dried and the strip is removed. Hereinafter, the felt 10 is referred to as “cavity felt”.

In the example of FIG. 1, the strip 12 is placed on the web 11 from one end to the opposite side, but as shown in FIG. The length to the intermediate portion may be set so as not to reach the opposite side toward the opposite side. In that case, when the band-shaped body is pulled out as shown in FIG. 2B after contraction, the cavity 15 is formed only in the portion where the band-shaped body is placed, and does not penetrate as shown in FIG. A bottomed cavity is formed. Since the band-shaped body can be set freely, for example, by arranging the band-shaped body in a lattice shape, a slanted line shape, a slanted lattice shape or the like, it is possible to form a cavity portion having these shapes.

Example 1
In the cavity felt 10 of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 4, a granular material, for example, a stone 31 made into a spherical shape such as precious stone, is inserted into the cavity 15 at intervals. The thing of a present Example can be utilized as a bed mat using the negative ion and the acupressure effect from the said granular material.

(Example 2)
FIG. 5 shows a lighting fixture in which a large number of LEDs (light emitting diodes) 41 connected by lead wires 42 are inserted into the hollow portion 15 of the hollow felt 10. The LED hardly generates heat, so the felt does not burn. The thing of a present Example can be used for an auxiliary | assistant of a normal lighting fixture, and a display.

(Example 3)
FIG. 5 shows the moldable felt of the present invention not available with conventional felts. This is an example in which a wire 51 is passed through the cavity 15 of the cavity felt 10 and bent as a whole to form a three-dimensional shape. The thing of a present Example utilizes the property which can bend | fold a wire, and can change the form of a solid shape by changing the number of the cavities 15 and the hardness of a wire.

Example 4
FIG. 6 shows that a plurality of cavity felts are connected in a vertical direction by inserting a metal rod containing iron, stainless steel, aluminum, a wire, or a plastic rod having elasticity into the cavity 15 of the cavity felt 10. This is an example in which a self-supporting partition is formed by joining in the lateral direction with stitches or connecting metal fittings, and supporting the lower portion of the metal rod 61 with a support base 62. In this embodiment, since the sound absorption performance of the felt varies depending on the thickness, the partition having the sound insulation performance can be obtained by changing the thickness of the cavity felt 10.
