Description

The present invention relates to a steel material grinding apparatus, and more particularly to a steel material grinding apparatus for maintaining a rolled material such as a slab with a grinder.

As a steel material for producing a steel material such as a thin steel plate, a thick steel plate, a steel pipe, or a shaped steel, a slab produced by direct continuous casting from molten steel, a billet obtained by roughly rolling these, or the like is used. . If these steel materials have surface defects, cracks due to thermal effects during gas cutting, or torch slags during gas cutting, they become the basis of product defects. Therefore, generally, maintenance by grinder grinding is performed prior to rolling. Patent Documents 1 and 2 disclose means for efficiently carrying out grinder care and processing of grinding waste generated at that time.

Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-94963

However, all of the means described in Patent Documents 1 and 2 have a problem that a conveyor and a power source for operating the conveyor must be prepared for the processing of grinding scraps, which requires equipment costs and maintenance and inspection costs. There is also a problem that the life of the conveyor is short due to the high temperature of the grinding scrap.

An object of the present invention is to solve the problems related to the conventional prior art, and to treat high-temperature grinding waste generated during grinding of steel materials, particularly slabs, without using a special power source.

The steel material grinding apparatus of the present invention can use a high-temperature grinding scrap generated during grinding work of steel materials, particularly slabs, for a long period of time without using a special power source. . Moreover, the grinding scrap carry-out device of the present invention does not have a special power source, has a simple configuration, and is extremely easy to perform maintenance and inspection.

FIG. 1 is an overall configuration diagram when the present invention is implemented as a grinding device for an end face of a slab, which is a representative form, and FIGS. 2 and 3 are a front view and a side view of the grinding device main body 20, respectively. is there. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the slab end face grinding apparatus according to the present invention is mounted on a movable carriage 10 that can travel in a direction orthogonal to the conveying direction of the slab S, and on the movable carriage 10. Slab grinding machine body 20 configured to grind slab end surface SA, and grinding scraps generated by grinding work by slab grinding machine body 20 extending along the traveling path of mobile carriage 10 Grinding waste drop groove 30 to be dropped, grinding waste collection box storage 40 provided at the end of grinding waste drop groove 30, and movement of grinding waste suspended in grinding waste drop groove 30 from the slab grinding machine body And a scraper 50. A scraper 50 for moving grinding scraps is provided in a pair of front and rear in the vicinity of the rear end of the steel material grinding apparatus main body 20 and is deposited in the drop groove 30 only when the steel material grinding apparatus main body 20 is retracted. The waste can be discharged into the grinding waste collection box storage section 40.

The movable carriage 10 travels on a pair of rails 11 and 11 laid perpendicularly to the conveying direction of the slab S indicated by an arrow in FIG. 2, and is a platform so that the slab grinding apparatus main body 20 can be placed. It has twelve.

The slab grinding device body 20 is fixedly placed on the platform 12 of the movable carriage 10. In this example, a post 21 is erected on the platform 12, a support base 22 is rotatably attached to the top of the post 21, and a grinder 24 is driven by a motor 23 fixed and placed thereon. It is like that. The support base 22 is rotatable about a fulcrum 27 by a cylinder 25 extending from the vicinity of the lower end of the post 21. Further, the grinder 24 can adjust the pressing force against the slab S by a cylinder 26 extending from the vicinity of the lower end portion of the post 21. Also, below the grinder 24, a chute 27 is attached to guide grinding scrap generated by grinding to the grinding groove dropping groove 30.

As shown in FIG. 2, the grinding dust dropping groove 30 extends inside a pair of rails 11, 11 for running the movable carriage 10. The existence range will be clarified later together with the explanation of the operation of the scraper 50, but it is necessary to be able to cover the moving area of the scraper 50. As a rough guideline, when the moving direction of the moving carriage at the time of grinding is assumed to be the front, the grinding is present in the grinding chip dropping groove 30 in the rear direction up to the range where the grinding scrap is dropped by the chute 27 in the forward direction. The range is such that the scrap can be dropped into the grinding scrap collection box storage section 40 by the operation of the scraper 50. Note that the upper surface side of the grinding dust dropping groove 30 is an opening, and the lower end of the chute 27 faces this.

The grinding waste collection box storage section 40 is a place where the grinding waste scraped by the scraper 50 from the grinding waste dropping groove 30 is finally collected, and is provided at the front end of the grinding waste dropping groove 30. The scraper 50 is configured so as to be able to drop the grinding scraps into the grinding scrap collection bag 42 installed therein by the operation of the scraper 50. The grinding waste collection bag 42 is configured to be lifted and hung by a crane (not shown) or the like.

The grinding scrap moving scraper 50 is provided with a pair of front and rear scraper blades 51 and 52 in the vicinity of the lower surface of the rear end portion of the moving carriage 10. The width of the scraper blades 51 and 52 is substantially the same as the inner method of the grinding dust dropping groove 30, and the length thereof is adjusted to the extent that the bottom surface of the grinding dust dropping groove 30 is rubbed when suspended as described later. ing. According to the above definition, the distance between the scraper blade 52 located in front of the mobile carriage 10 and the scraper blade 51 located in the rear is such that these scraper blades do not interfere with each other, and scraping and discharging of accumulated grinding debris described later. What is necessary is just to set to the value which substantially covers the accumulation range length of a grinding waste so that a process can be performed smoothly.

As shown in FIG. 5, the scraper blade 51 (52) is provided with a bulging portion 53 on the lower surface of the platform 12 of the carriage 10, and by supporting a base portion on the scraper blade 51, the rear end of the movable carriage 10 is provided. It is attached in the vicinity of the lower surface of the part. In this installation, the shaft support 54 with the drooping position stop mechanism is used, and when the carriage 20 moves forward, the carriage 20 receives the resistance of the grinding debris accumulated in the grinding debris dropping groove 30 and retreats backward. When retreating, for example, when the drooping position is 6 o'clock of the watch, it is stopped at the position of approximately 5 o'clock to 6 o'clock. Such a mechanism can be realized, for example, by incorporating an appropriate ratchet mechanism.

Hereinafter, the operation of the grinding apparatus for the slab end face configured as described above will be described. First, the slab S is conveyed on the roller table 13, and its grinding end surface SA stops at a grinding position, that is, a position coincident with the grinding surface of the grinding wheel of the grinder 24, and the slab S is clamped (FIG. 2). reference). In this state, the slab S is in a position that does not hinder the movement of the movable carriage 10 and the slab grinding apparatus main body 20 placed thereon. The movable carriage 10 is in the retracted position together with the slab grinding apparatus main body 20 placed thereon, and the grinder 24 is located away from the slab side face SB.

From the above state, the motor 23 of the slab grinding apparatus body 20 is started, the grinder is in a grinding state and the movable carriage 20 is advanced, and the grinding wheel of the grinder 24 is placed at the position where the slab side surface SB contacts, and then the cylinder 26 is used to slab the slab. The moving carriage 20 is further advanced while adjusting the pressing force against S, and grinding of the slab end surface SA is advanced.

The grinding waste generated in this grinding is guided by the chute 27 and accumulated in the grinding waste dropping groove 30 and is accumulated by the operation of the scraper blades 51 and 52 described with reference to FIG. Into the grinding waste collection box 42 installed in the section 40. FIG. 4 is a schematic explanatory view of the operation of the scraper blades 51 and 52 as the grinding proceeds. Hereinafter, this operation will be described with reference to FIG.

FIG. 4A shows a state immediately after the start of grinding. In this state, the movable carriage 10 is moving forward, but the scraper blades 51 and 52 have not yet reached the falling position of the grinding dust D, and are thus supported by the shaft support 54 with a drooping position stop mechanism. Nevertheless, the scraper blades 51, 52 are in the 6 o'clock position in the clockwise position.

FIG. 4 (B) shows a state where grinding has progressed. In this state, as the grinding progresses, the grinding waste D accumulates in the grinding waste drop groove 30. As a result, the scraper blade 52 positioned forward rubs excessively on the grinding scrap D at the clock position of approximately 4 o'clock due to the action of the shaft support 54 with the hanging position stop mechanism as the movable carriage 10 moves forward. . Note that the scraper blade 51 located at the rear has not yet reached the falling position of the grinding dust D, and is thus at the 6 o'clock position.

FIG. 4C shows a state where the grinding process has been completed. In this state, the accumulation state of the grinding scraps and the state of the scraper blades are almost the same as in the case of FIG.

In the operation of the steel material grinding apparatus of the present invention, the movable carriage 10 is advanced even after the above grinding process is completed. That is, the position shown in FIG. 4D, in other words, the front end portion of the scraper blade 52 positioned forward is advanced to a position exceeding the grinding waste D accumulated in the grinding waste dropping groove 30. Then, the movable carriage 10 is moved backward (FIG. 4E).

FIG. 4E shows a state in which the movable carriage 10 starts to move backward. In this retracted state, the scraper blades 51 and 52 are stopped at the 6 o'clock position by the action of the shaft support 54 with the drooping position stop mechanism, whereby the grinding dust D accumulated in the grinding dust drop groove 30 is accumulated. To the rear of the moving carriage 10. As described above, the separation distance between the scraper blades 51 and 52 is set to a value that substantially covers the accumulation range length of the grinding waste, so that almost the entire amount of the grinding waste is removed in the retracted state. , 52 can be held and sent out. FIG. 4 (F) shows the state of the end of retreat.

Next, as shown in FIG. 4 (G), the movable carriage 10 is advanced again. The moving distance is such that the scraper blade 52 located at the front leaves the crest of grinding debris and the scraper blade 51 located at the rear exceeds the crest of grinding debris. The end state of such re-advancement is shown as a stop state in FIG. In this state, there is a crest of grinding dust D further behind the scraper blade 51 located behind.

FIG. 4 (I) shows a step of finally dropping the grinding waste D into the grinding waste collection box 42 installed in the grinding waste collection section 40. That is, the movable carriage 10 is moved backward again, and the piles of grinding waste D are pushed out toward the grinding waste collection box 42 by the rear scraper blades 51. At this time, since there is a separation distance L between the front scraper blade 52 and the rear scraper blade 51, the final retreat distance of the mobile carriage 10 is between the rear scraper blade 51 and the grinding scrap collection box 42. The distance is enough.

From the above description of the operation of the scraper blades 51 and 52, the necessary conditions of the steel material grinding device such as the existence range of the grinding dust dropping groove 30 become clear. For example, the tip position of the grinding waste drop groove 30 needs to be slightly beyond the grinding waste discharge position when the grinder 24 finishes grinding the end face of the slab S. As a result, the position of the rail 11 can be determined in consideration of the size of the grinding carriage. On the other hand, the rear end position of the grinding waste drop groove 30, that is, the start end position of the pit 41 of the grinding waste collection section 40 is based on the maximum backward movement position of the self-propelled carriage 10 and the self-propelled carriage 10 has moved back to that position. It can be determined that the rear scraper blade 51 faces the pit 41.

As described above, according to the present invention, grinding scraps generated during slab end face grinding can be recovered by the movement of the moving carriage back and forth, but the scope of application of the present invention is the recovery of grinding scraps on the slab end faces. It does n’t stop there. For example, the present invention can also be applied for grinding scrap recovery on the slab surface as described in Patent Documents 1 and 2. In that case, it is necessary to change the structure of the steel material grinding machine main body such as a grinder so that the surface of the slab etc. is ground and the grinding waste can be dropped into the grinding waste dropping groove along the moving carriage. Of course it is.

In carrying out the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1, if a hood 60 that covers the grinding portion of the grinding apparatus body is provided and grinding dust is sucked from the hood, the working environment can be further improved. Can do.
