互に同心的に相対動する軸とハウジングとの間の環状空間に設けられ、密封流体側の密封流体をシールすると共に、大気側の泥水等のダストをシールするものであって、
前記軸に装着され、大気側で外径方向に延びるフランジ部を有するスリーブと、前記軸の外周面をシールする第一シール本体部と、を備えた第一シールと、
前記ハウジングに装着され、補強環と、前記第一シールに摺動する第二シール本体部と、を備えた第二シールと、
前記フランジ部と軸方向所定間隔を有し大気側に設けられた保護環と、
前記フランジ部に接着しているゴム状弾性体の結合部を介して装着され、前記保護環に面接触で摺動する樹脂の第三シール本体部を備えた第三シールと、
を備えたことを特徴とする軸付きシール。
