Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a washing apparatus for washing an object to be washed with water in a washing tank, such as a dishwasher or a washing machine.
In dishwashers and washing machines, antibacterial metal ions (generally silver ions are used) are added to the wash water to disinfect the objects to be washed and the inside of the washing tank, and they also have an antibacterial effect. There is something to let you. Examples thereof can be seen in
The following two methods have been conventionally employed as methods for adding antibacterial metal ions to washing water. The first is a natural elution method in which a metal ion eluting substance is immersed in water to elute metal ions, which are disclosed in
The natural elution method has the following problems. In other words, metal ions are eluted only in the rinsing stage, but metal ions are also eluted in the water in the washing stage using the detergent. Since the metal ions eluted in the washing stage are finally washed away with rinsing water, the antibacterial power of the corner is not effectively used, and the life of the metal ion eluting substance is shortened. In this respect, in the dishwasher described in
On the other hand, in the electrolysis method, metal ions can be eluted only when the metal ions are effectively used, so that the electrodes are not wasted. However, in this method, it is necessary to make an electrical connection to the electrode, and even if it is time to replace the electrode, it is difficult for a general user to replace it.
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and the object of the present invention is to control the amount of metal ions eluted from a metal ion eluting substance while adopting a natural elution method, and to provide antibacterial properties when necessary. An object of the present invention is to provide a cleaning device that can sufficiently supply metal ions and can suppress the supply of antibacterial metal ions in other situations.
(1) In order to achieve the above object, the present invention relates to a metal ion eluting substance that elutes antibacterial metal ions in water and water hardness or electrolyte in a cleaning apparatus for cleaning an object to be cleaned with water in a cleaning tank. A water quality adjusting device that changes a metal ion elution amount from the metal ion eluting material by adjusting a concentration, and the water quality adjusting device includes the metal ion eluting material in a flow of water supplied to the cleaning tank. It is characterized by being arranged on the upstream side.
According to this configuration, by flowing the water whose hardness or electrolyte concentration is adjusted by the water quality adjusting device to the metal ion eluting material, the amount of metal ion eluting from the metal ion eluting material is changed according to the water hardness or electrolyte concentration. The amount of elution increases when the antibacterial metal ion is required, and the amount of elution decreases when the antibacterial metal ion is not required. As a result, the antibacterial metal ions can be used without waste, and the life of the metal ion eluting substance can be extended. Since the metal ion eluting substance is not connected to the power source, it can be easily replaced, and there is no danger in replacement. Furthermore, the water quality can be adjusted to obtain a high detergency so that substances that inhibit the function of the detergent are reduced in the washing stage using the detergent.
(2) Further, the present invention is characterized in that, in the cleaning device configured as described above, the water quality adjusting device adjusts the water quality so that a metal ion elution amount from the metal ion eluting substance is increased during rinsing.
According to this configuration, the antibacterial metal ions are concentrated and eluted in the water at the time of rinsing, and the antibacterial effect due to the antibacterial metal ions remaining on the object to be cleaned can be sufficiently exerted.
(3) Further, according to the present invention, in the cleaning device configured as described above, the metal ion eluting substance is disposed in a cleaning tank that accommodates an object to be cleaned, and the water quality adjusting device is disposed in a water supply path to the cleaning tank. It is characterized by that.
According to this configuration, access to the metal ion eluting substance is easy, and even a general user can easily replace it when it is necessary to replace it.
(4) Moreover, the present invention is characterized in that, in the cleaning device having the above-described configuration, the water quality adjusting device and the metal ion eluting substance are arranged in a water supply path to a cleaning tank that accommodates an object to be cleaned.
According to this configuration, since the metal ion eluting substance passes through the purified water before being poured into the washing tank, it is possible to prevent the elution efficiency from being lowered due to the contaminants adhering to the metal ion eluting substance.
(5) Further, the present invention is characterized in that, in the cleaning device having the above-described configuration, the cleaning device is a dishwasher.
According to this configuration, the tableware can be sufficiently sterilized to have an antibacterial effect.
(6) Moreover, the present invention is characterized in that, in the cleaning device having the above-described configuration, the cleaning device is a washing machine.
According to this configuration, the laundry can be sufficiently sterilized to have an antibacterial effect.
According to the present invention, the amount of metal ions eluted from the metal ion eluting substance is changed by flowing water whose hardness or electrolyte concentration is adjusted to the metal ion eluting substance by the water quality adjusting device arranged on the upstream side, and antibacterial metal ions Therefore, the amount of elution is increased in the situation where the metal ion is necessary, and the amount of elution is controlled to be small in the other phase, so that the antibacterial metal ions can be used without waste and the life of the metal ion elution substance can be extended. Since the metal ion eluting substance is not connected to the power source, it can be easily replaced, and there is no danger in replacement. On the other hand, at the washing stage using the detergent, the water quality is adjusted so as to reduce substances that hinder the function of the detergent, and a high detergency can be obtained.
Hereinafter, a first embodiment in which the present invention is applied to a dishwasher which is one of washing apparatuses will be described with reference to FIG.
FIG. 1 is a vertical sectional view showing the overall configuration of the dishwasher. Most of the internal space of the
A
The
The
なお軟水化装置30としてはEDI(Electrodeionization:電気透析)ユニットを使用する。
In the middle of the
In the flow of water supplied to the
A
Next, the operation of the
The
When the water level in the
Energization of the

The
When the water containing the detergent is completely drained from the
The rinse water also passes through the
After the first rinsing step, the second rinsing step is entered with the drainage step in between. The rinsing process and the draining process are repeated a predetermined number of times. When the rinsing process is repeated many times in this manner, the operation stop of the
When the final rinsing process is completed and the rinsing water is drained, the drying process is started. The
FIG. 2 is a table showing the experimental results of examining changes in the elution amount of silver ions depending on the hardness of water. In the experiment, a φ5 mm PE resin pellet containing 20% of A-type zeolite supporting silver was placed in an antibacterial cassette so as to have a ratio of 50 g / L with respect to the water in the washing tank, and the water temperature was 25 ° C. The amount of elution of silver when stirring for 10 minutes was examined. The silver elution amount was determined by measuring the silver ion concentration in water.
In the table of FIG. 2,
Elution of silver ions occurs when water and a silver ion eluting substance exchange silver ions with cations such as Na + , K + , Mg 2+ , Ca 2+ and NH 4 + . Therefore, elution of silver ions easily occurs in hard water with a large amount of dissolved cations. When the silver ion eluting substance is A-type zeolite, the pores of A-type zeolite have higher affinity for Ca 2+ than Na + , K + , Mg 2+ and NH 4 + , so hard water rich in Ca 2+ Then, the elution amount of silver ions further increases.
FIG. 3 is a table showing the antibacterial effect of silver. This table is quoted by Takayama et al. From "Antimicrobial activity of silver and copper ions" ("Anti-bacterial and anti-bacterial" vol.22, No. 9, pp.531-536, 1994: Published by the Japanese Society for Anti-bacterial and Anti-bacteria) , "Antibacterial effect of silver ions against E. coli". From this, it can be seen that the antibacterial effect is exhibited if the silver ion concentration in water is 10 ppb, and the antibacterial effect is further increased if the silver ion concentration is increased.
As in this embodiment, water is softened in the washing step to suppress elution of silver ions, and in the rinsing step, water that is not softened is not used to suppress elution of silver ions. Even if residual water is generated in 11, the concentration of silver ions is high, so that the growth of bacteria and the like can be suppressed and the generation of odor can be prevented.
When water is softened in the washing step, the amount of silver ions eluted from the
As the
In addition to not performing the water softening treatment at the time of rinsing, the amount of silver elution may be increased by positively performing the water hardening treatment. For the water hardening treatment, a material that elutes cations, for example, a calcium sulfate gradual disintegrator that gradually collapses and elutes Ca 2+ can be used. When EDI or RO is used as a water softening device, hard water can be obtained simultaneously with the soft water, so the hard water may be used for rinsing. The hard water generated in the cleaning process may be stored in a water storage tank and used for rinsing. When water softening treatment is performed with an ion exchange resin, hard water obtained in the regeneration process of the ion exchange resin can be used.

A second embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIG. FIG. 4 is a vertical sectional view showing the overall configuration of the dishwasher.
The
In the

A third embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIG. In the third embodiment, the present invention is applied to a washing machine which is one of washing apparatuses, and FIG. 5 is a vertical cross-sectional view showing the overall configuration of the washing machine.
The
The
In the

A driving
The water supply path to the
A
A
In the middle of the
A metal ion eluting substance is disposed downstream of the
Next, the operation of the
When supplying the cleaning water to the
When supplying rinsing water to the
After all the washing steps are completed, the laundry is taken out and dried, and when the
As described above, in the
Even if the electrolyte removal treatment is performed in the washing process to extend the life of the
The
The yarn
When the
A fourth embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIG. FIG. 6 is a vertical sectional view showing the overall configuration of the washing machine.
The
In the
