Description

Detailed Description of the Invention

The present invention belongs to an apparatus and a method for using the apparatus that can easily cultivate a sprout vegetable and bean sprouts without requiring special or specialized knowledge and techniques.

Conventionally, when cultivating sprout vegetables and bean sprouts as a hobby, self-cultivation, or as part of education at a school or the like, not as an industry, the following methods are mostly used.
(1) At the bottom of a dish-like or box-like container, lay a fiber or porous, water-absorbing, water-retaining material that will become the root support after seed germination. Replenish water necessary for growth.
(2) In the case of bean sprouts, it is cultivated in the dark place, and also in the case of newly sprouted vegetables, the cultivation period is mostly cultivated in the dark place or in the genital area where the amount of light is poor.
(3) After germination, water and air (oxygen) necessary for growth are replenished, and at the same time, at least several times a day with clear water or an aqueous solution to which nutrients and preservatives are added, Replenish by showering or spraying.
(4) During cultivation, if the temperature of the cultivation environment is lowered, the growth is slowed or stopped, and if it is raised, it tends to rot.

Problems to be solved by the invention

However, the above method has the following problems when individuals cultivate sprouts and sprouts as hobbies, self-cultivation, or as part of education at school or the like, not as an industry.
{Circle around (1)} In order to satisfy the temperature conditions necessary for germination and growth at home and educational sites, it is necessary to move and install cultivation tools, containers, etc. as appropriate in a place within appropriate temperature conditions. Moreover, it may be necessary to maintain an appropriate temperature environment by air conditioning, especially in summer and winter.
(2) Replenishment and replacement of water is required at least twice a day to prevent corruption, and about 4 or 5 times in summer when the temperature is high.
(3) Replenishment and exchange of water requires caution to prevent the loss and damage of the plant during cultivation.
(4) In order to ensure a dark environment, it is possible to cover cultivation equipment, containers, etc. with boxes or install them in furniture or fittings that do not allow light to enter. However, these methods are often hermetically sealed, and are prone to lack of oxygen necessary for respiration of the plant.
(5) In order to supply oxygen necessary for the respiration of the plant, it is necessary to continuously or intermittently change the air. Some mechanism is separately required for boxes, furniture, and joinery.
(6) The fiber and porous material that absorbs and retains water, which is the root support after germination, is moist from the beginning of cultivation, so that spoilage bacteria and other germs often propagate during cultivation. It's easy to do.

If the above subject is summarized, the subject factor in the conventional cultivation method will be the following five points in general.
A) Issues of maintaining a temperature environment suitable for germination and growth a) Replenishment of water necessary for germination and growth and issues of moisture exchange to prevent spoilage c) Issues of maintaining an environment (dark place) that can block light d) Issues of supplementation of oxygen consumed by germination and growth

Means for solving the problem

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, an apparatus and a method for using the apparatus that can easily cultivate a sprout vegetable and a bean sprout without having special or specialized knowledge or technology have been devised.

First, the sprout vegetable and bean sprouts are composed of four members, a main tube, a net-like root support, a light shielding lid and a surplus water holding tray, and can be integrated by assembly and disassembled into four members. It was. In addition, the manufacturing method of the said cultivation implement is not specifically limited.

Secondly, the material of the sprout vegetable and the bean sprout cultivation instrument was made into the material which has the outstanding light-shielding performance.

Third, the light-shielding lid and the excess water holding tray are in the shape of the outer lid of the main cylinder, the inner diameter is larger than the outer diameter of the main cylinder, and there is a gap between the main cylinder and the vicinity of both ends of the main cylinder A structure having a plurality of air holes such as perforations or notches that allow air to flow in and out is provided on the side surface.

Fourth, the highest water level in the surplus water holding tray was set higher than the upper limit of the reticulated root support attachment position.

Fifth, the root support was reticulated.

The usage method of the sprout vegetables and bean sprouts of this invention is as follows.
First, as shown in FIG. 1, the sprout vegetable and bean sprouts of the present invention are assembled, the light-shielding lid is opened, and the desired plant seed in an amount of about half of the net root support area is placed on the net root support. Sowing and placing the cultivation equipment as horizontally as possible in a temperature environment suitable for germination and growth.

Next, as shown in FIG. 2, the surplus water holding dish is poured with an amount of water so that the sown seeds are submerged, and the shading lid is closed. Thereafter, germination is confirmed, or after the predetermined time has elapsed, the water in the excess water holding tray is discarded.

Next, once or twice a day, the light shielding lid is opened, moisture necessary for growth is supplied by showering or spraying, and the light shielding lid is closed. Thereafter, this operation is repeated.

Grown sprouts, sprouts, or both are harvested at the discretion of the grower. In this method, the net root support is first removed from the main cylinder, and the sprout vegetables or sprouts grown at this time or both are taken out from the main cylinder together with the removed net root support. Next, the reticulated root support and the grown sprouts or sprouts or both are cut off.

Since the roots of cultivated plants are entangled in the net-like root support after harvesting, it is removed and washed with a scrubber or brush, and then reused.

The invention's effect

Since the present invention is configured as described above, it has the effects described below.

The sprout vegetable and bean sprouts are composed of four members, a main tube, a net-like root support, a light-shielding lid, and a surplus water holding tray, and can be integrated by assembly and disassembled into four members. As a result, operations such as sowing, hydration and exchange, and movement and installation of the cultivation equipment became easy.

By making the material for the sprouts and sprouts with excellent light-shielding performance, the dark environment in the main tube can be secured regardless of the installation location after the cultivation tools are assembled and integrated. It was.

The shading lid and the excess water holding tray are in the shape of the outer cover of the main cylinder, the inner diameter is larger than the outer shape of the main cylinder, and there is a structure having a gap between the main cylinder and air on the side surfaces near both ends of the main cylinder. By having a structure having a plurality of holes such as perforations or notches that allow inflow and outflow of oxygen, while maintaining the light shielding performance in the main cylinder after assembly, oxygen required by cultivated plants in the main cylinder ( Air) can be continuously supplied.

By setting the highest water level in the surplus water holding dish to be higher than the upper limit of the reticulated root support attachment position, predetermined water is supplied into the surplus water holding dish, and the sown seeds are in a semi-submerged state. In order to make this possible, the frequent hydration work that was necessary from the sowing to germination, especially during periods requiring a lot of water, was omitted. Moreover, after germination, by discarding the water in the excess water holding tray, the inflow of air (oxygen) necessary for growth is not hindered.

By making the root support net, excess water replenished dripping into the surplus water holding dish, and at least a part of the mesh of the root support is not always clogged. ) Continuous inflow and outflow.

If the environment is in a temperature range suitable for germination and growth of any plant, it is a simple sprouting vegetable almost year-round, indoors or outdoors, without special or specialized knowledge or technology. It also enabled the cultivation of bean sprouts.
