Description

The present invention relates to a multi-sheet used for agriculture.

Conventionally, when agricultural products are cultivated, polyolefin-based plastic films colored in black have been used as multi-sheets to be laid on the soil surface of the field in order to keep the ground temperature and prevent the generation of weeds. However, these films are not biodegradable and need to be recovered after use and disposed of. Also, in the case of disposal, harmful gases and compounds are generated when incinerated, which is a serious problem.

Therefore, a multi-sheet having biodegradability using paper having characteristics of humus and decomposition in soil has been proposed. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a biodegradable paper multi-sheet containing photocatalytic titanium oxide in a moisture-proof layer. Patent Document 2 discloses a light shielding mainly composed of carbon black on a paper support. A multi-sheet coated and impregnated with an agent and chitosan is disclosed in Patent Document 3, and a multi-sheet in which a paper sheet is pseudo-bonded to a biodegradable plastic sheet to reduce the transmittance of light of a specific wavelength is disclosed in Patent Document 4. A multi-sheet in which porous carbon powder produced from a natural material is added to a paper base is disclosed.

On the other hand, several methods have been reported for the reuse of paper sludge, which is one of the wastes generated from industry. For example, Patent Document 5 discloses a fertilizer fermented by mixing paper sludge and livestock manure, and Patent Document 6 discloses a method for producing a porous material by treating an incineration residue of paper sludge with an alkaline solution. Discloses a method for obtaining a zeolitic material that is treated in an alkaline solution by adding silicic acid or an aluminum-enriched material to paper sludge incineration ash. However, among papermaking sludges, those discharged from manufacturing factories such as decorative board base paper contain a large amount of titanium dioxide, and its recovery and reuse are desired, but the sludge also contains inorganic pigment components, etc. However, there is no report on an effective reuse method.

The present invention aims to make effective use of papermaking sludge, and is excellent in biodegradability because it uses wood pulp as a main raw material, can maintain a shielding power even when wet in the rain, and diffusely reflects sunlight, so that It is an object to provide an agricultural multi-sheet that efficiently applies sunlight to the fruit trees and leaves of the person.

In order to solve such a problem, the present inventors pay attention to the high content of titanium dioxide in papermaking sludge ash, and can solve the problem by adding it to paper without particularly refining. As a result, the present invention has been completed.
That is, the present invention
(1) A multi-sheet in which a papermaking sludge ash having a titanium dioxide content of 60% or more is internally added in an amount of 15 to 120 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of a pulp mainly composed of wood pulp;
(2) The multisheet according to (1), wherein the papermaking sludge ash is obtained by removing unburned carbon,
Is to provide.

The multi-sheet of the present invention is a paper obtained by papermaking by adding papermaking sludge containing a large amount of titanium dioxide to a paper mainly composed of wood pulp. It has excellent shielding power, inhibits photosynthesis such as weeds and prevents its occurrence, and by reflecting light irregularly on the surface of the paper, the lower fruit trees and leaves below the target plant are often exposed to light. Prevents uneven coloring and contributes to plant growth.
Further, even when it gets wet in the rain, the shielding power is maintained, and after use, the main component of the multi-sheet is wood pulp, which is biodegraded and does not need to be collected.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail.
The pulp used in the present invention contains wood pulp as a main component, and wood pulp alone or a mixture of wood pulp with non-woody fibers.
Examples of the wood pulp include NBKP, NBSP, LBKP, LBSP and the like, and it is particularly preferable to use a mixture of NBKP and LBKP.
The pulp is preferably beaten to 600-400 ml CSF.

The papermaking sludge ash used in the present invention contains 60% or more of titanium dioxide. When the content of titanium dioxide is less than 60%, the effect of titanium dioxide is not sufficiently exhibited when internally added to paper.
Paper sludge ash is paper sludge (a sludge that contains pulp, organic / inorganic pigments, etc., coagulated and settled from factory waste liquid) and incinerated in an incinerator to burn water and most organic substances. It refers to the later incineration ash. It is also one of the features of the present invention that titanium dioxide can be used as it is without being purified and recovered from papermaking sludge ash.
When the paper-making sludge ash is visually black to gray, the light shielding property is sufficient, but sufficient light from the bottom of the plant due to diffused reflection of light is not secured, so, for example, at about 700 ° C. for 30 minutes. It is desirable to calcinate the remaining unburned carbon of the organic matter by treating for several hours, and remove it to less than 1%, preferably less than 0.1%.

The papermaking sludge ash is added in an amount of 15 to 120 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the pulp.
When the papermaking sludge ash is 15 parts by weight or less, light shielding and irregular reflection cannot be obtained sufficiently. On the other hand, if it is 120 parts by weight or more, sufficient paper strength cannot be obtained.

In order to impart water resistance to the multi-sheet of the present invention, it is desirable to add a sizing agent internally or externally. An alkyl ketene dimer is desirable as a sizing agent for internal addition. As a sizing agent for external addition, an emulsion type of acrylic styrene is desirable.
Also, known paper making chemicals such as polyacrylamide epichlorohydrin which is a wet paper strength enhancer can be internally added.

The multi-sheet of the present invention can be produced by making paper by adding a papermaking sludge ash and, if necessary, various papermaking chemicals to a pulp containing wood pulp as a main component by a known papermaking method. As the paper making method, a paper making method using a long net paper machine is preferable.

The multi-sheet of the present invention has the following characteristics.
(1) The light shielding component is titanium dioxide derived from papermaking sludge ash, has light shielding power, and reflects light.
(2) It should be biodegradable with paper mainly composed of pulp.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to examples.
Evaluation in this example and the comparative example was based on the following method.
(1) Light shielding property The transmittance (%) was measured at 700 nm and 680 nm with a self-recording spectrophotometer U-3200 (manufactured by Hitachi, Ltd.), and the light shielding rate = 100-transmittance.
The higher the value, the better the light shielding property.
(2) Wet light-shielding property After immersing the multisheet in water for 3 minutes, excess water was wiped off with filter paper, and the light-shielding rate was measured in the same manner as in (1).
(3) Light reflectivity As an index of light reflectivity, lightness (L) was measured with a Macbeth spectrophotometer CE-3100 (manufactured by Sakata Inx).
The lighter the white paper, the higher the numerical value.
(4) Biodegradability The multi-sheet was buried in the soil and left for 5 months, and then the digging shape was visually confirmed.
Those that maintained the shape were marked with X, and those that hardly kept the shape were marked with.
