Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a photographing apparatus suitable for illuminating a subject using strobe light and recording an image in the sea.
2. Description of the Related Art A digital still camera is known as a photographing apparatus that records image data of a still image obtained by photographing a subject on a memory card. Recently, waterproof housings for using digital still cameras underwater have become widespread, making it easy to shoot underwater when performing scuba diving. In the sea, there are many dark places where sunlight is difficult to reach, so it is common to use a strobe device for shooting.
When taking a flash photograph in the sea, many white spots may appear in the image. This is because floating substances in the sea shine white by reflecting strobe light. This suspended matter is a mass of microorganisms and is called marine snow. If a large number of white spots appear in a photographed image, the image becomes unsightly, and it is desired to prevent the reflection of marine snow.
However, it is troublesome to carry an external strobe device for underwater photography. Further, even if the marine snow that is closer to the photographing lens than the main subject is reflected in white, the marine snow around the main subject cannot be prevented from being reflected, and the image quality cannot be improved sufficiently.
The present invention has been made in consideration of the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a photographing apparatus capable of improving the deterioration of image quality due to white spots appearing in an image when performing strobe photographing in the sea.
In order to achieve the above object, an imaging apparatus of the present invention includes an imaging unit that images a subject, a strobe light emitting unit that emits strobe light that illuminates the subject, and an image of the subject that is captured by emitting the strobe light. The imaging unit is switched to an automatic sensitivity adjustment mode in which the sensitivity is varied according to the field luminance when the light emission prohibiting unit prohibits the emission of strobe light.
It is characterized by comprising notifying means for notifying that the emission of strobe light is prohibited by the light emission prohibiting means.
In addition, the photographing apparatus of the present invention includes an imaging unit that images a subject, a strobe light emitting unit that emits strobe light that illuminates the subject, and an image of the subject that is captured by emitting strobe light as a strobe image. An image recording means for continuously recording a strobe image and a normal image as a normal image, and a white inspection for analyzing the strobe image and detecting a white spot portion in the image Calculating means, calculating a total amount of the detected white spot portion, determining whether or not the calculated total amount of the white spot portion is larger than a reference value, and calculating the calculated white spot portion When it is determined that the total amount is larger than the reference value, an image of an area corresponding to the white spot portion of the strobe image is extracted from the normal image, and the extracted image is combined with the strobe image to obtain a white point corrected image. Generated image Characterized by comprising a generating means.
In addition, the photographing apparatus of the present invention includes an imaging unit that captures an image of a subject, a strobe light emitting unit that emits strobe light that illuminates the subject, a distance measuring unit that measures a subject distance, and a subject distance within the range of the strobe light. And a light emission prohibiting means for prohibiting the emission of strobe light when it is determined that the subject distance is outside the range of the strobe light.
The distance measuring unit measures a subject distance for each divided region obtained by dividing the imaging range, and the distance determining unit determines whether or not the subject distance of each divided region is within a strobe light reachable range, Analyzing the image of the subject imaged by flashing light, detecting the white spot portion in the image, calculating the total amount of the detected white spot portion, A white point amount determination unit that determines whether or not the total amount is greater than a reference value, and a distance within a strobe light reachable range by the distance determination unit when it is determined that the calculated total amount of white point portions is greater than a reference value. It is characterized by comprising white point correction means for correcting a white point portion existing in the divided area determined to be.
According to the present invention, when marine snow reflects strobe light and appears as a large number of white spots in the image, the strobe light emission is prohibited and re-shooting is performed. Can be recorded. Also, both strobe shooting and normal shooting were performed, and the marine snow image captured as a white spot during strobe shooting was replaced with the marine snow image captured during normal shooting, and the strobe shot image was corrected. Even if the white spot is erased, the image does not become unnatural and the main subject can be clearly recorded. In addition, the subject distance is measured for each of the divided areas obtained by dividing the shooting range, and if the main subject is not within the flash range, the flash light is prohibited from being emitted. The marine snow present in the can be prevented from being unnecessarily reflected by strobe light illumination. Further, since the white point is corrected only for the divided region within the strobe light reach when the subject distance of each divided region is measured, the time required for detecting and correcting the white point can be shortened.

In FIG. 4, the white
When the white point

Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. The waterproof digital camera of the second embodiment has the same basic configuration as the waterproof digital camera 10 of the first embodiment, but the flow of shooting processing in the underwater shooting mode is different. When the underwater shooting mode is executed, the flash charging process is started. When charging is completed, the preparation for shooting is completed and the shooting operation is waited. When a shooting operation is performed, a strobe image obtained by shooting a subject by emitting strobe light is recorded. Immediately after the strobe image is recorded, a normal image obtained by capturing an image of the subject without emitting the strobe light is continuously recorded. Note that the exposure conditions such as the aperture diameter are the same for the strobe shooting and the normal shooting except for the presence or absence of the strobe light emission.

Next, a third embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. The waterproof digital camera of the third embodiment has the same basic configuration as the waterproof digital camera of the first embodiment and the second embodiment described above, and the shooting process in the underwater shooting mode is different.

From the stroboscopic image, a
When it is determined that the
In this way, the waterproof digital camera of the second embodiment and the third embodiment uses a strobe image captured with a strobe and a normal image captured without using strobe light illumination, and uses a marine as a white spot. An image in which snow is not reflected is generated, and an image in which the image quality is unsightly is recorded. In the above-described embodiment, the normal image is recorded after the strobe image is recorded. However, the order may be reversed and the strobe image may be recorded after the normal image is recorded.
