Description

The present invention relates to an explosion-proof gas sensor device in which an explosion-proof structure is configured using, for example, a metal sintered body.

Gas sensor devices used in environments where flammable or explosive atmospheres may occur due to the presence of explosive atmospheres containing flammable gases and vapors are required to have an explosion-proof structure with a predetermined explosion-proof property. ing.

For example, in an infrared sensor using a non-dispersive infrared absorption method that measures gas concentration according to the degree of attenuation of the amount of infrared rays due to absorption of infrared rays by the detection target gas, in principle, the concentration of the gas to be measured In general, for example, a cylindrical gas cell having a gas inlet is provided, and both ends of the gas cell are provided. The infrared light source and the infrared sensor element are arranged to face each other.
And in the gas sensor device having such an infrared sensor, an explosion-proof case made of sintered metal is attached to the outer periphery of the gas cell so as to close the gas inlet, thereby having an explosion-proof structure. (For example, refer to Patent Document 1).

Since the sintered metal has low mechanical strength and insufficient durability, in the gas sensor device disclosed in Patent Document 1, a protective frame for protecting the explosion-proof case from damage. Is provided to surround the outer periphery of the explosion-proof case.
Since this protective frame is usually advantageous in producing a gas sensor device, it is attached, for example, by screwing, and is fixed by screwing as necessary.

Thus, in order for such a gas sensor device to be recognized as having an explosion-proof structure, components and parts that can be removed when the gas sensor device is installed are removed. It is necessary to pass a predetermined durability and flameproof performance test under the condition.
Therefore, as in the gas sensor device described above, for example, in a configuration in which the protective frame is attached by simple screwing, the protective frame can be removed. The above test is performed in a state where the explosion-proof case is exposed, and there is a problem that the gas sensor device cannot be configured to have sufficient explosion-proof properties.
Similarly, for the configuration in which the protective frame is fixed by screwing, the fixing screw is attached from the outside in a state where the protective frame is attached to the sensor body, so that the gas sensor device is installed. In this state, the tool can be inserted, and eventually the test is performed with the protective frame removed.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view schematically showing a configuration of an example of an explosion-proof gas sensor device according to the present invention, and FIG. 2 is an exploded view of the explosion-proof gas sensor device shown in FIG.
The explosion-proof gas sensor device 10 is disposed so as to surround the periphery of the gas sensor body 20 by being held by a generally cylindrical gas sensor body 20 and a base member 13 attached to one end of the gas sensor body 20. The sensor unit 11 includes a frame arrester 12 and a guard member 30 that is screwed onto the base member 13 so as to surround the frame arrester 12.

The gas sensor main body 20 includes a cylindrical gas cell 21 made of, for example, stainless steel into which a test gas is introduced. An infrared sensor element 23 is provided at one end of the gas cell 21 and the other end of the gas cell 21. An infrared light source 22 that is driven to blink is provided in the unit.
The gas cell 21 is formed with a plurality of gas inlets 21 </ b> A penetrating the peripheral wall at positions aligned in the axial direction on both side surfaces thereof.
In FIG. 1, 25 is a light source driving printed circuit board, 26 is a sensor board, and 27 is a lead wire.

A cylindrical cap member 28 is attached to one end portion of the gas cell 21, and a sleeve member 29 is fitted to one end portion of the cap member 28 and attached integrally.
The internal space of the cap member 28 and the sleeve member 29 is filled and sealed with an insulating resin 17 such as an epoxy resin, for example, and the function of isolating the gas introduced into the gas cell 21 by the insulating resin 17 and The gas sensor device is configured to have an explosion-proof structure by the flame propagation preventing function by the flame arrestor 12. Here, as the insulating resin 17, for example, a resin having a heat stability of a heat resistant temperature of 120 ° C. or higher is used.

The base member 13 is axially connected to the guard member mounting portion 14 through a cylindrical guard member mounting portion 14 to which the guard member 30 is mounted by screwing and a flange portion 15 having a hexagonal front shape. It is comprised by the cylindrical screwing mounting part 16 for installing the explosion-proof type gas sensor apparatus 10 whole extended outward, and the cap member 28 and the sleeve member 29 are fitted by the center through-hole. Accordingly, the gas sensor body 20 is attached to one end portion.

The frame arrester 12 is formed of a bottomed cylindrical sintered metal body having air permeability, and an opening side end is held by the base member 13.
An example of the specification of the sintered metal constituting the frame arrester 12 is as follows. For example, the thickness is 3 mm, the density is 4.39 g / cc, and the pore size is 121.01 μm. The desired flame propagation preventing effect can be obtained with certainty.

In this embodiment, the base member 13 and the frame arrester 12 are both made of stainless steel (SUS316), for example, and are integrally joined by simultaneous sintering. Thereby, sufficient joining strength which can endure internal explosion is obtained, and it can prevent reliably that a flame ignites outside through the clearance gap of a joining surface. Here, “simultaneous sintering” means that the frame arrester 12 made of a metal sintered body, which is a green compact, is sintered while being held by the base member 13 and simultaneously joined to the base member 13.

The guard member 30 is made of, for example, cast steel (corresponding to SCS13 and SUS304), and has a generally bottomed cylindrical shape whose one end is open. A gas communicating with the internal space is formed on one end side portion of the peripheral wall portion 31. An introduction port 33 is formed.
On the outer peripheral surface at one end of the guard member 30, a flange portion 34 protruding outward in the radial direction is formed over the entire circumference.
Reference numeral 35 denotes a through hole for introducing a calibration gas formed in the bottom wall portion 32 of the guard member 30.

In the explosion-proof gas sensor device 10, a pair of holding members that are fixed to each other and sandwich and hold the flange portion 34 of the guard member 30 and the base member 13 are mounted.

One holding member (hereinafter referred to as “rear-side holding member 50”) attached to one end of the explosion-proof gas sensor device 10 has a screwing attachment portion in the base member 13 at the center as shown in FIG. The center opening 51 having a circular front shape into which the 16 is inserted is formed in a substantially disk shape, and on one side, the engaging portion 52 that is engaged with the flange portion 15 in the base member 13 is formed. Is formed.
Each of the engaging portions 52 includes a pair of half-moon-like engaging pieces 53 each having a flat engaging surface 53A that engages, for example, the outer peripheral surface portions of the flange portion 15 of the base member 13 that face each other. Each engagement piece 53 is formed to extend in the vertical direction with the engagement surface 53A facing each other. The outer surface of the engagement piece 53 is configured along the circumferential surface of a cylindrical body having the same outer diameter as the outer diameter of the flange portion 34 of the guard member 30.

A fixing screw mounting hole 54 to which the fixing screw 60 is mounted is formed through the outer peripheral edge portion of the back side holding member 50 in the thickness direction, and the other surface side of the fixing screw mounting hole 54 is formed. A recess 56 in which the head of the fixing screw 60 is accommodated is formed in the opening. In this example, the fixing screw mounting holes 54 are formed at two locations at positions spaced radially outward from the engagement piece 53 at, for example, the same circumferential position as the formation position of the engagement piece 53. .

The back-side holding member 50 is protruded outwardly by the threaded mounting portion 16 of the base member 13 being inserted into the central opening 51 of the sensor unit 11 to which the cover member 30 is mounted. The engagement surface 53 </ b> A is mounted in a state of being engaged with the outer peripheral surface portion of the base member 13.

The other holding member (hereinafter referred to as “front side holding member 40”) mounted on the other end side of the explosion-proof gas sensor 10 is, as shown in FIG. The front shape having an inner diameter dimension that matches the outer diameter dimension of the flange portion 34 of the guard member 30 is a substantially rectangular frame shape in which a circular central opening 41 is formed. Has a protruding edge portion 42 protruding radially inward over the entire circumference in the circumferential direction.
On the other surface of the front side holding member 40, the fixing screw mounting hole 54 is located at a position corresponding to the fixing screw mounting hole 54 in the back side holding member 50 in a state of being in contact with the back side holding member 50. A fixing screw mounting hole 44 extending continuously in the thickness direction is formed.
Further, for example, two holes are formed so that the set screw mounting through holes 45 extend radially through the outer peripheral surface.

The front side holding member 40 has a protruding edge portion in which the flange portion 34 of the cover member 30 and the engagement piece 53 of the back side holding member 50 are received in the central opening 41 in a state where the rear side holding member 50 is mounted. The inner surface of 42 is locked to the other end surface of the flange portion 34 of the cover member 30, and the fixing screw mounting hole 44 is aligned with the fixing screw mounting hole 54 in the rear-side holding member 50, so It is mounted in a state of being in contact with the holding member 50.

Then, the back-side holding member 50 and the front-side holding member 40 are mounted from the back side (the other side) of the back-side holding member 50 with the fixing screw 60 in a state where the head is housed in the recess 56. Accordingly, the flange portion 34 of the cover member 30 and the flange portion 15 of the base member 13 are sandwiched and held by the rear side holding member 50 and the front side holding member 40, whereby the guard member 30. The rotation related to the screwing with respect to the sensor unit 11 is prohibited.
Further, a set screw (not shown) is mounted in the set screw mounting hole 45 in the front side holding member 40, and the front side holding member 40 is fixed to the cover member 30.

As shown in FIG. 5, the explosion-proof gas sensor device 10 having the above configuration is used by being installed on a vertical wall surface, for example, and attached to the installation surface S as follows.
In other words, the explosion-proof gas sensor device 10 as a whole is screwed into a predetermined installation surface S so that the gas introduction port 33 formed in the peripheral wall portion 31 of the cover member 13 is opened appropriately in the right direction when viewed from the front, for example. Mounted in a state adjusted to the posture, and further formed in a region exposed to the outside on the radially outer side from the outermost edge position of the front side holding member 40 in the rear side holding member 50 in the thickness direction. The stopper screw 61 is fixed to the through hole 55 for attaching the screw extending through the front side (one side) of the rear side holding member 50 by being attached.
In this state, the head of the fixing screw 60 that fixes the back-side holding member 50 and the front-side holding member 40 to each other is not exposed to the outside, and therefore, insertion of a tool into the fixing screw 60 is prevented. As a result, the back side holding member 50 and the front side holding member 40 cannot be removed. As a result, the guard member 30 cannot be removed.

As described above, in order for the gas sensor device to be recognized as having an explosion-proof structure, the components and parts that can be removed when the gas sensor device is installed are removed. It is necessary to pass predetermined durability and flameproof performance tests in the state.

Thus, according to the explosion-proof gas sensor device 10 configured as described above, the rear side holding member 50 and the front side, in which the flange portion 34 of the guard member 30 and the flange portion 15 of the base member 13 are fixed to each other by the fixing screw 60. Since the rotation of the guard member 30 with respect to the sensor unit 11 is prohibited by being sandwiched and held by the holding member 40 and the explosion-proof gas sensor device 10 is installed, the fixing member is fixed. Since the insertion of the tool into the screw 60 is blocked and the rear side holding member 50 and the front side holding member 40 cannot be removed, the guard member 30 is not removable from the sensor unit 11. can do. Accordingly, the frame arrester 12 is mounted so as to surround the gas sensor body 20 and the guard member 30 that protects the frame arrester 12 is mounted in a non-removable state, so that the guard member 30 remains mounted. The above test is performed in a state, and the flame arrester 12 is not damaged and the intended explosion-proof performance is not impaired. Therefore, the explosion-proof gas sensor device 10 is assumed to have sufficiently reliable explosion-proof performance. Can be configured.
In addition, since the guard member 30 can be made in a state in which it cannot be removed without joining the guard member 30 by welding or the like, a sufficiently reliable explosion-proof structure can be provided with a simple configuration. Can do.

Further, since the entire explosion-proof gas sensor device 10 is configured to be fixed to the installation surface S by the stopper screw 61, the degree of screwing of the explosion-proof gas sensor device 10 with respect to the screw mounting portion 16 can be reduced. Since it can be adjusted and installed, the explosion-proof gas sensor device 10 can be installed in an appropriate posture.

Further, since the frame arrester 12 is cylindrical and the guard member 30 has a cylindrical shape, the frame arrester 12 and the guard member 30 can be easily mounted at predetermined positions, and a predetermined explosion-proof gas. The sensor 10 can be advantageously made.
