またコネクタ7ごとにいくつかの端子6が保持されており、複数のコネクタ7同士は互いに独立別個に構成されているため、基板1に対する端子6の位置決め精度が出し易く、かつ環境温度変化に基づく膨張収縮に対しても端子6のはんだ付け部分が損傷を受けにくい点も好ましい。
またコネクタ7をいくつかの所定の形状で規格化しておけば、それらを任意に基板1上にレイアウトすることで、コネクタ付基板Aの製造が容易になる利点もある。
以上のような種々の効果は、基板1上の全てのコネクタ7を1つのアッパーケース3で固定したときに最大限に発揮される。
