Abstract
【解決手段】電気化学セルは、第1導電層と、該第1導電層上に形成された金属酸化物層と、ここで該金属酸化物層は、お互いに離間する隣接した複数の金属酸化物セルを有し、前記金属酸化物層上に形成された機能色素層と、第2導電層と、前記機能色素層と前記第2導電層との間の電解質と、を含み、前記第1および第2導電層の少なくとも一つが透明である。一実施例として、電気化学セルは、前記第1導電層上に形成され、前記複数の隣接する金属酸化物セルの其々を取り囲む分離手段を更に含む。

Claims (14)
- 第1導電層と、
前記第1導電層上に形成された金属酸化物層と、前記金属酸化物層は、互いに離間する隣接した複数の金属酸化物セルを有し、
前記金属酸化物層上に形成された機能色素層と、
第2導電層と、
前記機能色素層と前記第2導電層との間の電解質と、を含み、前記第1導電層および前記第2導電層の少なくとも一つが透明である電気化学セル。 - 前記第1導電層上に形成され、前記複数の隣接する金属酸化物セルの其々を取り囲む分離手段を更に含む、請求項1に記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記分離手段がポリマーパターンである、請求項2に記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記分離手段がポリイミドパターンである、請求項2に記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記分離手段の少なくとも一部が疎水および/または疎油性であり、前記第1導電層は親水および/または親油性である、請求項2乃至第4項のいずれか一つに記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記分離手段が前記第1導電層上に前記金属酸化物セルのマトリクスを形成する、請求項2項乃至第5項のいずれか一つに記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記複数の金属酸化物セルの各々が実質的に正方形状である、請求項6項記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記複数の金属酸化物セルの各々が実質的に円形状である、請求項6項記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記複数の金属酸化物セルの各々が実質的に六角形状である、請求項6項記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記複数の金属酸化物セルの各々が実質的に矩形形状である、請求項6項記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記分離手段がバンクである、請求項2乃至第11項のいずれか一つに記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記電解質と前記第2導電層との間に電気触媒層を更に含む、請求項1乃至11のいずれかに記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記電気触媒層が、プラチナ、ルテニウム、ロジウム、パラジウム、イリジウム、オスミウムのいずれか一つである、請求項12項記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記金属酸化物層と対向する前記第1導電層の面上に第1絶縁基板を更に含む、請求項1乃至13のいずれかの電気化学セル。
