Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a polyethylene resin composition. Specifically, the present invention relates to a polyethylene-based resin composition having good hot tackiness, heat seal strength, etc., little fish eye, and excellent low odor, and a sealant film characterized by comprising the composition.
Polyethylene resin has moderate flexibility and is excellent in strength, transparency, heat sealability, moisture resistance, chemical resistance, low temperature impact strength, etc., so it can be used for food / beverage, pharmaceutical / medical, electrical / electronic, etc. Widely used in various packaging materials. As a sealant film whose contents are liquid, there should be no leakage from the sealed portion of the sealed film. Therefore, as a material for forming a sealant film having a good function, the sealing temperature range is wide. In particular, a material having a low sealing temperature and a high sealing property has been desired. Therefore, until now, low-density polyethylene, which is easy to mold and heat seal, has been mainly used for sealant films whose contents are liquid. However, in recent years, it has been reported that volatile components and impurities generated from the sealant film migrate to the contents and cause adverse effects such as generation of odor components, taste deterioration, content alteration, and discoloration. A sealant film has been demanded, and a low-density polyethylene has not been satisfactory.
On the other hand, medium- and high-density polyethylene made from metallocene catalysts, which have been actively developed in recent years, are relatively excellent in the generation of odorous components and taste changes from sealant films. -Since the melting point is high and the melt tension is low, the strength of the seal part at the time of melting, that is, the heat adhesion performance of the heat seal part, that is, the hot tack performance is often insufficient. When an object is filled, there is a problem that the heat seal part is cut, and bag breakage or content leakage is likely to occur.
Therefore, no resin has been obtained that satisfies the above-mentioned important characteristics required for practical use at the same time.
Therefore, a clean sealant film that has excellent hot tack properties and does not cause the above-mentioned problems and is less likely to generate odor components, taste deterioration, content alteration, discoloration, etc. has been desired. Has also been required.
As a method for improving the hot tack property, a method using a Philips catalyst-based polyethylene as disclosed in Patent Document 1 and a method using a metallocene-based low and medium density polyethylene as disclosed in Patent Document 2 are known. . However, none of these methods is sufficiently improved in hot tack. Further, as a method for preventing the generation of odor, a method of enclosing a gas adsorbent in a packaging bag as in Patent Document 3, and an inorganic oxide such as calcium hydroxide as shown in Patent Document 4 are blended in a polyethylene resin. And a method of blending a degradation inhibitor such as an antioxidant, an ultraviolet absorber, and a coloring inhibitor with a polyethylene resin as disclosed in Patent Document 5. However, none of these methods is sufficient to suppress odor, the gas adsorbent is expensive, the handling is complicated, etc. In medical applications, the problem remains that the additives used have an adverse effect on the human body.
From the above, improvement of hot tack property or odor is insufficient, and no sealant film having both hot tack property and odor improvement effect has been found so far.
The present invention has been made in view of the above situation, and has a good hot tack property, heat seal strength, etc., has a small fish eye, and has a low odor property and a composition thereof. It aims at providing the sealant film characterized by consisting of a thing.
The present inventors develop a sealant film characterized by comprising a polyethylene-based resin composition having good hot tackiness, heat seal strength, etc., less fish eyes, and excellent low odor, and the composition. For this reason, as a result of intensive studies, it was found that using a specific polyethylene resin composition meets the above-mentioned purpose, and the present invention was completed based on this finding.

(II-1) The molecular weight distribution represented by the ratio of the weight average molecular weight to the number average molecular weight is 5-30.
(II-2) The density is 900 to 975 kg / m 3 .
(II-3) Occupancy with a molecular weight of 10 6 or more is 0.5 to 10% by weight.
The copolymer of (I) ethylene and α-olefin is prepared from at least a support material, an organoaluminum compound, a borate compound having active hydrogen, a cyclopentadiene compound, and a group IV transition metal compound. The polyethylene-based resin composition is characterized in that polymerization is carried out using the metallocene supported catalyst [A] and the liquid promoter component [B].
In the polyethylene resin composition of the present invention, (I) the copolymer of ethylene and α-olefin has a molecular weight distribution represented by (I-1) a ratio of the weight average molecular weight to the number average molecular weight. Preferably, it is 3-7. If the molecular weight distribution is less than 2, it is not preferable because the extrudability is lowered and melt fracture is likely to occur during film formation. On the other hand, when it is 10 or more, there are disadvantages such as a decrease in transparency of the film and a bleed out of a low molecular weight component, which is not preferable.
Moreover, (I-2) density is 925-975 kg / m < 3 >, Preferably it is 930-970 kg / m < 3 >. If the density is less than 925 kg / m 3 , the heat resistance of the film, the property that the films adhere to each other due to heat, that is, the heat blocking property tends to be insufficient, and the low molecular weight component of the resin bleeds out. It is not preferable because it may cause On the other hand, if it is 975 kg / m 3 or more, there are disadvantages such as low temperature impact strength and piercing strength of the film, which is not preferable.
Further, (I-3) the melt flow rate (hereinafter abbreviated as MFR) at 190 ° C. and a load of 2.16 kg is 0.1 to 30 g / 10 minutes, preferably 0.3 to 15 g / 10 minutes. More preferably, it is 0.5 to 10 g / 10 min. When the MFR is less than 0.1 g / 10 min, melt fracture is likely to occur, and the film formation stability is inferior. On the other hand, at 30 g / 10 min or more, the degree of decrease in low-temperature impact strength, heat seal strength, and heat-resistant blocking property tends to be large, which is not preferable.
The characteristic of (II) ethylene polymer or copolymer of ethylene and α-olefin is (II-1) a molecular weight distribution represented by a ratio of weight average molecular weight to number average molecular weight is 5 to 30, preferably 6-25. When the molecular weight distribution is less than 5, the heat sealability of the film is lowered, which is not preferable. On the other hand, if it is 30 or more, the low molecular weight component of the resin bleeds out or an odor component is generated, which is not preferable.
Moreover, (II-2) density is 900-975 kg / m < 3 >, Preferably it is 905-970 kg / m < 3 >. When the density is less than 900 kg / m 3 , the heat resistance is poor and the heat blocking property of the film is poor. On the other hand, if it is 975 kg / m 3 or more, there are disadvantages such as low-temperature impact strength of the film and resistance (tear strength) when the film is torn, which is not preferable.
Further, (II-3) the occupation ratio of the molecular weight of 10 6 or more is 0.5 to 10% by weight, preferably 0.7 to 8% by weight. If the occupation ratio of the molecular weight is 10 6 or more is less than 0.5, the temperature range in which hot tack is possible becomes narrow, which is not preferable. On the other hand, when it is 10 or more, there are disadvantages such as a decrease in extrudability and the occurrence of fish eyes during film formation.
The polyethylene resin composition according to the present invention is formed from (I) a copolymer of ethylene and an α-olefin and (II) an ethylene polymer or a copolymer of ethylene and an α-olefin. (I) The copolymer of ethylene and α-olefin is 60 to 90% by weight, preferably 70 to 90% by weight, more preferably 75 to 85% by weight, (II) ethylene polymer or ethylene and α -The copolymer with an olefin is 10 to 40 weight%, Preferably it is 10 to 30 weight%, More preferably, it is 15 to 25 weight%. If it is out of the above composition range, the temperature range in which odor generation and hot tack are possible becomes narrow, which is not preferable. In MFR at 190 ° C. and a load of 2.16 kg, the MFR ratio of (II) to (I) is less than 0.8, preferably less than 0.7. When the MFR ratio of (II) to (I) is 0.8 or more, the heat seal temperature range of the film shifts to the low temperature side, the vertical / horizontal seal strength balance deteriorates, and the temperature range in which hot tack is possible decreases to the low temperature side. There are disadvantages such as shifting, which is not preferable.

Example 1
[Preparation of metallocene supported catalyst [A]]
Silica P-10 [manufactured by Fuji Silysia Co., Ltd. (Japan)] was calcined at 400 ° C. for 5 hours in a nitrogen atmosphere and dehydrated. The amount of surface hydroxyl groups of dehydrated silica was 1.3 mmol / g-SiO 2 . In an autoclave having a capacity of 1.8 liters, 40 g of this dehydrated silica was dispersed in 800 cc of hexane to obtain a slurry. While the obtained slurry was kept at 50 ° C. with stirring, 60 cc of a hexane solution of triethylaluminum (concentration 1 mol / liter) was added, and then stirred for 2 hours to react triethylaluminum with the surface hydroxyl group of silica to be treated with triethylaluminum. A component [D] containing silica and a supernatant liquid and having all surface hydroxyl groups of the silica treated with triethylaluminum being crushed was obtained. Thereafter, the supernatant liquid in the obtained reaction mixture was removed by decantation to remove unreacted triethylaluminum in the supernatant liquid. Thereafter, an appropriate amount of hexane was added to obtain 800 cc of a hexane slurry of silica treated with triethylaluminum.

Also, 5.7 g of bis (hydrogenated tallow alkyl) methylammonium-tris (pentafluorophenyl) (4-hydroxyphenyl) borate (hereinafter abbreviated as “borate”) was added to 50 cc of toluene and dissolved, A 100 mmol / liter toluene solution was obtained. To this toluene solution of borate, 5 cc of a 1 mol / liter hexane solution of ethoxydiethylaluminum was added at room temperature, and further hexane was added so that the borate concentration in the toluene solution was 70 mmol / liter. Then, it stirred at room temperature for 1 hour and obtained the reaction mixture containing a borate.
46 cc of this reaction mixture containing borate was added to 800 cc of the slurry of component [D] obtained above with stirring at 15 to 20 ° C., and the borate was supported on silica by physical adsorption. Thus, a slurry of silica carrying borate was obtained. Further, 32 cc of the component [E] obtained above was added and stirred for 3 hours to react the titanium complex with borate. Thus, a metallocene-supported catalyst [A] containing silica and a supernatant liquid and having catalytically active species formed on the silica was obtained.
