The structure of the interlocking mechanism that links the step body and the footrest member is not particularly limited. An interlocking mechanism for interlocking the step body and the footrest member is not essential, and the change of the state of the step body and the displacement of the footrest member may be performed individually by human power or power.
The retracted position of the footrest member is not particularly limited as long as it is outside the wheel interference prevention region. For example, when the step body is in a fender state, the position overlapping the third portion of the step body in a side view is set as the retracted position. The member may be attached to the step body so as to be slidable up and down, and may be displaced to the use position by sliding downward from the retracted position. The footrest member is not limited to those supported by the step body. 前記ステップ本体は、フェンダー状態である時に前記車輪の前方に位置する第1の部位と後方に位置する第2の部位と上方に位置する第3の部位とを有し、それら第1〜第3の部位により囲まれる車輪干渉防止領域が形成され、
前記ステップ本体がステップ状態である時、前記第3の部位が前記第1、第2の部位よりも前記車体の外方に配置される車両用ステップ装置において、
