Abstract

Claims (18)
- 無線周波数(RF)信号を受信する信号受信モジュールと、
自動利得制御(AGC)モジュールを備えると共に、前記AGCモジュールの利得が前記RF信号に基づいて変化した場合に制御信号を発生させる信号処理モジュールと、
隣接および非隣接の制御信号のうちの1つの間のN個の時間間隔を選択的に計測し、ここでNは1より大きい整数であり、前記N個の時間間隔が実質的に等しいときに前記RF信号はレーダー信号であると選択的に判断する、制御モジュールと
を具備する無線ネットワーク装置。 - 前記AGCモジュールの前記利得が、第1の大きさから、所定の値および前記第1の大きさよりも小さな第2の大きさへ、および、前記第2の大きさから前記所定の値よりも大きな大きさへと、所定の期間内に移行するとき、前記信号処理モジュールが前記制御信号のうちの1つを発生させる、請求項1に記載の無線ネットワーク装置。
- 前記AGCモジュールの前記利得が前記所定の期間内にM回移行し、ここでMは1より大きい整数であるとき、前記信号処理モジュールが前記制御信号のうちの1つを選択的に発生させる、請求項2に記載の無線ネットワーク装置。
- N番目の時間間隔が(N+1)番目の時間間隔と実質的に等しくないとき、前記制御モジュールが前記RF信号をレーダー信号でないと判断する、請求項1に記載の無線ネットワーク装置。
- 前記N個の時間間隔は、レーダー信号の周期の5%より小さい所定の大きさだけ異なる、請求項1に記載の無線ネットワーク装置。
- 前記レーダー信号が所定のパルス幅および所定のパルス反復周波数を有する、請求項1に記載の無線ネットワーク装置。
- 前記RF信号があるチャネル上で受信され、前記レーダー信号が前記チャネル上で検出されると前記制御モジュールがレーダー検出信号を発生させる、請求項1に記載の無線ネットワーク装置。
- 前記レーダー信号が前記チャネル上で検出されると、前記制御モジュールが、前記レーダー検出信号を他のネットワーク装置へと選択的に送信する、請求項7に記載の無線ネットワーク装置。
- 請求項1に記載の前記無線ネットワーク装置を備え、インフラストラクチャモードおよびアドホックモードのうちの1つで動作する、クライアントステーション。
- 請求項1に記載の前記無線ネットワーク装置を備えるアクセスポイント。
- レーダーを検出する方法であって、
無線周波数(RF)信号を受信するステップと、
自動利得制御(AGC)モジュールの利得が前記RF信号に基づいて変化した場合に制御信号を発生させるステップと、
隣接および非隣接の制御信号のうちの1つの間のN個の時間間隔を選択的に計測し、ここでNは1より大きい整数であり、前記N個の時間間隔が実質的に等しいときに前記RF信号はレーダー信号であると選択的に判断するステップと、
を含む方法。 - 前記AGCモジュールの前記利得が、第1の大きさから、所定の値および前記第1の大きさよりも小さな第2の大きさへ、および、前記第2の大きさから前記所定の値よりも大きな大きさへと、所定の期間内に移行するとき、前記制御信号のうちの1つを発生させるステップをさらに含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記AGCモジュールの前記利得が前記所定の期間内にM回移行し、ここでMは1より大きい整数であるとき、前記制御信号のうちの1つを選択的に発生させるステップを含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- N番目の時間間隔が(N+1)番目の時間間隔と実質的に等しくないとき、前記RF信号をレーダー信号でないと判断するステップをさらに含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記N個の時間間隔は、レーダー信号の周期の5%より小さい所定の大きさだけ異なる、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記レーダー信号が所定のパルス幅および所定のパルス反復周波数を有する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記RF信号をあるチャネル上で受信するステップと、
