Abstract
【解決手段】 生動物素材を粉砕し、この粉砕生動物素材を加熱し、得られた生動物素材を遠心分離にかけ、この生動物素材を、ミール相、水分相および油相に分離し、水分相をスプレー乾燥する工程を具備してなり、ミール相およびスプレー乾燥された水分相を回転乾燥にかけ、その後の処理のための望ましい水分量のミールを収集することを特徴とする。

Description
本発明の他の目的は、加水分解された羽や屑肉のような食品素材を乾燥する方法であって、この所望の水分とする乾燥の間および乾燥の後においてアミノ酸やたんぱく質のような食品素材中の感熱性栄養成分が無劣化で消化性のよい状態に維持されるような方法を提供することである。
本発明の他の目的は、食品素材をより効率的に乾燥するための装置を提供することである。
その他の本発明の目的、利益および他の特徴については、以下の記載の検証、実施などから当業者が明らかに理解し得るであろう。本発明の目的、利点は添付の請求項に具体的に記載した手段、その組合わせから理解し得るであろう。
以下、加水分解された羽、全血、家禽の屑肉から形成される栄養補助物質のごとき原料物質を乾燥させるための本発明の装置10を示す図1ないし6を参照して本発明を説明する。図1に示すように、装置10は、スプレー乾燥部位12、回転乾燥部位14および一次固形/ミール収集部位16からなっている。
上記方法および図7に示す方法に従って、家禽屑肉からなる原料物質がビン(貯蔵容器)100から供給され、粉砕機102に向けて送られ、ここで所望のサイズ、コンシステンシーに粉砕される(例えば、直径が1/4インチより大きいものはない)。粉砕の後、原料物質は粉砕機102から加熱ユニット104へ向けて供給される。ここで、その製品が華氏195ないし205度に加熱され、原料物質を部分的に崩壊させて、ミール、水相および油相に分解させる。これら3の相は3方遠心分離機106へ送られて、油相が分離され、油貯蔵容器108へ送られる。同時に、水相がスプレー水貯蔵タンク44へ送られる。

Claims (4)
- 生動物素材を粉砕し、
該粉砕生動物素材を加熱し、
得られた生動物素材を遠心分離にかけ、この生動物素材を、ミール相、水分相および油相に分離し、
水分相をスプレー乾燥する工程を具備してなり、
ミール相およびスプレー乾燥された水分相を回転乾燥にかけ、
その後の処理のための望ましい水分量のミールを収集することを特徴とする生動物素材の処理方法。
- 60−80psigの圧力の加圧空気でスプレー乾燥することを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 回転乾燥ドラム内の空気流量を450−550フィート/分にて維持する請求項2に記載の方法。
- 収集される望ましい水分量のミールが約5%ないし約8%の水分量を有する請求項1に記載の方法。
