本発明は、液体塩化物の輸送方法に関する。 The present invention relates to a method for transporting liquid chloride.
液体塩化物とは、塩素を含む化合物で液体状のものをいう。このような液体塩化物の一種に、脱臭素苦汁があり、これは苦汁から臭素を取り除いたものであって、塩化マグネシウムに分類される。ただし、脱臭素苦汁以外の液体塩化物にも本発明は適用される。
以上のような液体塩化物は、ステンレス鋼等の鋼材を腐食させたり、ひび割れを発生させやすい性質があるため、タンカー、タンクローリ、荷役用タンク設備の利用を敬遠される。なお、FRPでタンク内部をライニング処理した専用船も存在するが、数が少ないため、手配が困難である。

上記の事情から、液体塩化物の輸送には、つぎのような問題がある。
1)液体塩化物の輸送が可能なケミカルタンカーの数が少ないため、手配が困難であり、納入先(化学製品メーカー)への製品の安定供給が困難であること。
2)ケミカルタンカーのチャーター費用が高額であること。また、納入先の1回の受入ロットにタンカーの積載量が適合しないこと。
3)タンクローリー車は塩化物を輸送することを嫌うため、陸送手配が困難であること。
4)液体貨物取扱い専用港からでなければ積み出しが出来ないこと。また、専用港積出し用タンクは塩化物を入れられることを嫌うため、タンク手配が困難であること。
5)荷吊り可能なパッキングをしなければ一般貿易港から液体貨物の輸出ができないこと。
6)液体貨物の荷役設備のない港への輸送が必要であること。
7)高い既存の液体輸送用のコンテナを使用し、固体貨物用バラ積み船にて輸送する場合、液体輸送用コンテナ本体の価格が高額であること。
8)液体輸送用コンテナ返送する際の輸送効率が著しく悪いこと。

1)ケミカルタンカーを使用せず、一般貨物船を使えるため、輸送費が安くなり、納入先への安定供給が可能となる。
2)液体貨物取扱い専用港を使用しないでも、一般貿易港での積出し、積降しが可能となる。
3)液体輸送用のコンテナやタンクを用いる必要がなく輸送費が安くなる。また、コンテナは返送する際も大きなスペースをとるので、輸送効率が悪い。
4)タンクローリを使わなくてよいので、陸上輸送が容易となる。
第2に、輸送袋と吊上げ部材とを別体としているので、吊上げ部材は荷役場所で使用する数だけあれば足り、輸送袋と共に移動しないので、経済的である。また、別体であるが故に、吊上げる部材は強度的に充分強いものを採用でき、荷役時の事故も防止しやすい。

大きさは、とくに制限ないが、大きいほど荷役効率が高くなる。但し、余り大きすぎると人手によって動かし難い。そこで、一辺が1m前後が扱いやすいのであるが、それより小さくても大きくてもよい。なお、トラックとかタンカーの荷室に納まりやすい外形寸法にすると、より輸送効率が高くなる。
