Description

The present invention relates to a vehicle rear seat mounting support structure for dispersing a load applied to a mounting portion of a rear seat.

Conventionally, in a vehicle such as a minivan, a type in which a seat belt is built in a rear seat is often employed. Such a seat belt built-in seat has a larger impact load on the seat mounting portion than a type in which the seat mounting portion and the seat belt mounting portion are set at different parts of the vehicle body, such as a three-point seat belt. Is expected to enter. For this reason, as a mounting point of the rear seat, it is generally set on a cross member in the vehicle width direction orthogonal to a frame arranged in the front-rear direction of the vehicle body, such as a side sill of the vehicle body side and a rear side frame of the vehicle body side portion. Is.

However, simply setting the attachment point of the rear seat on the member member in the vehicle width direction increases the support span for the input load in a vehicle with a wide vehicle width, which is disadvantageous in strength. Accordingly, it is necessary to take measures against the impact load applied to the rear part of the vehicle body by increasing the cross section of the member member or increasing the plate thickness of the member. As a result, there is a problem that the weight is increased.

In relation to the technology for such an impact load on the rear part of the vehicle body, for example, in Patent Document 1, a substantially Y-shaped stiffening frame connecting the left and right rear side frames and the cross member is arranged at the rear part of the vehicle body. Techniques to do this are disclosed. According to this technique, when an impact load is applied from the rear, the impact load is applied to the entire vehicle body via a side sill or the like to which the front part of the cross member or the rear side frame is coupled via the left and right rear side frames and the stiffening frame. Distributed transmission.
JP 2002-370676 A

The technique of Patent Document 1 is mainly intended to distribute and transmit an impact load applied to the rear portion of the vehicle body to the entire vehicle body. Therefore, in the technique of Patent Document 1, the load applied to the mounting portion of the rear seat is not considered, and the possibility that the load is concentrated on the mounting portion of the rear seat cannot be excluded.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle rear seat mounting support structure capable of efficiently dispersing an impact load applied to a rear seat mounting portion.

In order to achieve the above object, a vehicle rear seat mounting support structure according to the present invention includes a rear side frame disposed on both left and right sides of a rear part of a vehicle body, and a rear cross member erected in the vehicle width direction on the front end side of the left and right rear side frames. A rear seat mounting support structure for a vehicle having one end connected to the rear side frame and curved and extended forward from an oblique direction to a front rail side mounting portion of a seat rail that is mounted indoors The left and right seat rail members whose other ends are connected to the rear cross member at corresponding positions and the left and right seat rail members are interposed in the vehicle width direction and correspond to the rear end side mounting portions of the seat rail. And a center member for connecting the left and right seat rail members to each other at a position.

The position where the left and right seat rail members are joined to the rear cross member coincides with the position where the rear ends of the left and right front frames, which are arranged inside the side sill on the side of the vehicle body and extend in the front-rear direction, are joined to the cross member. It is desirable to make it. Further, it is desirable that the seat rail member is coupled to the rear side frame in the vicinity of the mounting portion of the rear suspension member.

According to the vehicle rear seat mounting support structure of the present invention, it is possible to efficiently disperse the load applied to the rear seat mounting portion at the time of a collision, etc. Can be avoided.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. 1 and 2 relate to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 1 is a schematic plan view for explaining the configuration of a vehicle body frame, and FIG. 2 is an explanatory view showing the relationship between a rear seat attachment point and a support span. In the following description, the same symbols are assigned to the left and right members for the left and right symmetrical members to simplify the description.

As shown in FIG. 1, the main skeleton of the vehicle is located on the side of the vehicle body on a pair of left and right front frames 1, 1 arranged along the front-rear direction of the vehicle, and outside each front frame 1, 1. The side sills 2 and 2 extend in the front-rear direction, and the rear side frames 3 and 3 are disposed on the left and right sides of the rear part of the vehicle body at the rear end of the side sills 2 and 2.

The front frames 1 and 1 in the present embodiment are arranged so that the distance between them is slightly narrowed from the front to the rear, and a suspension cross member (not shown) that supports the front wheels 4 and 4 is provided on the front end side. ) And the mount portion of the engine 5 are joined. A transmission cross member 7 disposed in the vehicle width direction is joined to the rear side of the power unit including the engine 5 and the transmission 6 of the front frames 1 and 1.

The transmission cross member 7 has a tunnel-shaped portion 7a at the center, and the rear portion of the transmission 6 is supported by the tunnel-shaped portion 7a. On both sides of the transmission cross member 7 in the vehicle width direction, cross members 8 and 8 provided in the vehicle compartment are arranged. A propeller shaft 9 connected to the rear portion of the transmission 6 extends rearward and is connected to the differential device 10.

On the other hand, intermediate portions of the front frames 1 and 1 that are the center of the vehicle are connected to each other by a tunnel cross member 11 provided so as to be orthogonal to the front frames 1 and 1. The tunnel cross member 11 has a tunnel-shaped portion 11a at the center, and cross members 12 and 12 provided in the vehicle interior are disposed on both sides of the tunnel-shaped portion 11a. The intermediate part of the front frames 1 and 1 and the intermediate part of the side sills 2 and 2 are connected.

Note that members such as a propeller shaft 9, an exhaust pipe, and a propeller shaft center bearing that rotatably supports the propeller shaft 9 are arranged in the tunnel-shaped portion 11 a of the tunnel cross member 11.

On the other hand, the rear ends of the front frames 1 and 1 are joined to a rear cross member 13 installed in the vehicle width direction on the front end side of the rear side frames 3 and 3. The rear portions of the side sills 2 and 2 are joined to the left and right ends of the rear cross member 13, and the front portions of the rear side frames 3 and 3 are joined.

A rear cross member 14 positioned on the end side with respect to the rear cross member 13 is joined to an intermediate portion of the rear side frames 3 and 3. In addition, an inclined portion 3a is provided slightly ahead of the portion where the rear wheels 15, 15 of the left and right rear side frames 3, 3 are disposed. The inclined portion 3a is slightly inwardly curved and extends upward in order to avoid interference with the rear wheels 15 and 15. That is, in the rear side frames 3 and 3, since the inclined portion 3 a is provided, there is a difference in height between the front side of the rear side frames 3 and 3 and the rear side of the intermediate part, and the rear side of the intermediate part is compared with the front side. It is high.

Further, between the rear side frames 3 and 3 and the rear cross member 13, a seat member 16 that performs a stiffening and load distribution function for a mounting portion of a rear seat (not shown) is disposed. The rear cross member 13 is connected to each other. The seat member 16 includes left and right seat rail members 17 and 17 that connect the vicinity of the inclined portions 3a and 3a of the rear side frames 3 and 3 and the rear cross member 13, and a vehicle width that connects the left and right seat rail members 17 and 17 to each other. And a center member 18 in the direction, and is formed as a substantially torii-shaped member (in other words, a shape in which a substantially H-shaped end portion is expanded) in plan view.

The seat rail members 17, 17 have one end near the front end side attachment portion of a rear suspension member (not shown) attached between the end portion of the rear cross member 14 and the inclined portions 3 a, 3 a of the rear side frames 3, 3. Are joined to each other and are extended obliquely downward from the rear side frames 3 and 3 to the inside, and thereafter, the other ends extending forward through the curved portions 17a and 17a are fixed to the rear cross member 13, respectively.

The seat member 16 depends on the arrangement of the rear seat arranged on the vehicle interior side, the position of the joint between the seat rail members 17, 17 and the center member 18, and the seat rail members 17, 17 and the rear cross member 13. The position of the joint is set. As shown in FIG. 2, a pair of seat rails 20 a and 20 b are arranged for each rear seat on the vehicle interior side, and a pair of seat rails 20 a and 20 b are arranged on the left and right sides in parallel in the front-rear direction.

The joint between the seat rail member 17 and the rear cross member 13 is set at a position corresponding to the front end side mounting portion of one seat rail 20a located on the inside, and the seat rail member 17 and the center member 18 are joined. The formed three-pronged portion is set so as to correspond to the rear end mounting portion of the seat rail 20a. The other seat rail 20 b located outside has a front end side mounting portion set at an end portion of the rear cross member 13 and a rear end side mounting portion set around the inclined portion 3 a of the rear side frame 3.

Further, the joint between the seat rail members 17 and 17 and the rear cross member 13 corresponds to the front end mounting portion of the seat rails 20a and 20a and matches the joint between the rear cross member 13 and the front frames 1 and 1. It is set to be. That is, the seat rail members 17 and 17 are disposed between the rear cross member 13 and the rear side frames 3 and 3 to firmly support the seat rails 20a and 20a. A continuous skeleton from 17 to the rear side frames 3 and 3 is formed to improve the rigidity of the entire vehicle.

In such a rear seat mounting support structure via the seat member 16, the seat rail members 17, 17 and the center member 18 are arranged in a truss shape in plan view between the rear cross member 13 and the rear side members 3, 3. In addition, a trifurcated portion formed by the seat rail member 17 and the center member 18 is set at a seat rail attachment point where the largest load is input at the time of collision.

As a result, the rigidity of the rear portion of the vehicle body can be improved, and even when a large impact load is input, the load can be efficiently dispersed from the three-pronged portion by the seat rail member 17 and the center member 18. Moreover, since the support span B of the seat rail member 17 can be made shorter than the support span A of the conventional cross member in the vehicle width direction, the weight of the member member is not increased due to an increase in the cross section or thickness. The anchor strength for the seat can be greatly increased, and the occupant protection performance can be improved.

In particular, floor tunnels for storing propeller shafts, exhaust pipes, etc. in the front-rear direction of the center of the vehicle body, such as FR cars and 4WD cars that drive the rear wheels or four wheels with the engine mounted on the front of the vehicle Even for a vehicle having a seat support member having a large cross section and a difficult thickness, the seat rail members 17, 17 and the center member 18 are arranged in a truss shape to increase the load distribution path. The support structure is effective, and the rear seat support structure having sufficient strength can be obtained.

In addition, the rear side frame 3 and the rear cross member 13 are coupled via the seat rail member 17 and a continuous skeleton is formed from the seat rail member 17 to the front frame 1 with the rear cross member 13 interposed therebetween. In addition to dispersing the input impact load from the three-pronged portion formed by the seat rail member 17 and the center member 18, the impact load can be transmitted from the seat rail member 17 to the entire vehicle body via the front frame 1, so that the impact is effective. Can be attenuated.

Further, by connecting the vicinity of the rear suspension mounting portion of the rear side frame 3 and the rear cross member 13 via the seat rail member 17, the lateral rigidity and strength of the rear side frame 3 are increased, thereby contributing to improvement in steering stability. The effect that it can be done can also be acquired.

The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention.
