この発明は従来平行なロール機械に依って加工する事の出来なかった。左右径の異なるテーパー管の加工を可能にしたものである。This invention could not be processed by a conventional parallel roll machine. This makes it possible to process tapered tubes with different left and right diameters.
従来のロール機械は、上下3本又は4本のロールに依って鋼鈑又わ平面な板を円筒状に加工する物であり、左右徑の違うテーパー管の加工は出来なかった。稀には上下のロールをテーパー型にしたロールも存在するが曲げようとするテーパーに合うロールを多数用意しなければならず、又、必ずしも正確な曲げ加工が出来なかった。The conventional roll machine is a thing which processes a steel plate or a flat plate into a cylindrical shape by three or four upper and lower rolls, and it was not possible to process tapered pipes with different left and right sides. しかしながら、以上の技術によれば、従来のロール機とはロール機能のまったく異なる画期的な方法に依り、完全正確なテーパー管の加工が完成された。左右巾が違うRの有る板をロール間に送っても、左右同じ速度でしか送る事が出来ず、テーパー曲げ加工は施工出来ない。その為、ロールを少し送っては曲げ、ロールを緩め板の角度を直角に直して曲げる、という操作を繰り返して曲げる方法で辛うじてテーパーに近い形に曲げていた。それにしても、各曲げ部分が扇型の断続で、正確なテーパーとならず、粗雑な製品しか出来ない。
他の方法として、プレス加工により扇型に押し曲げる成型方法も有るが、プレス曲げ跡が残るのと、丸型には加工出来ず、2分割、3分割で加工して、これを接ぎ合わせて1個のテーパー管に仕上げる為、大きなコストが掛る事等が最大の課題で有った。However, according to the above-described technology, a completely accurate taper tube processing has been completed by an epoch-making method having a completely different roll function from a conventional roll machine. The biggest problem was that it cost a lot of money because it finished in one taper tube.
