Claims (20)
- コネクタであって、
モジュールを収容するスロットを画定する側壁を備えるハウジングと、
該ハウジング内にスロットと連絡するように取付けられた端子と、
前記側壁の両端に配設されたハウジングと別体の取付プラットフォームと、
各取付プラットフォームに直接接続されたラッチとを有するコネクタ。 - 各取付プラットフォームは実質的水平部を含み、ラッチに力が加えられたときに、該力は取付プラットフォームの実質的水平部に伝達される、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 各取付プラットフォームは、対応するラッチに直接接続された垂直部を更に含む、請求項2に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記取付プラットフォームの水平部はプリント回路基板にはんだ付される、請求項2に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記端子はプリント回路基板に表面実装可能である、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記端子はプリント回路基板にスルーホール実装可能である、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 各ラッチと取付プラットフォームとが一体形成される、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記取付プラットフォームは、該取付プラットフォームから延在し、プリント回路基板に接続可能なポストを含む、請求項7に記載のコネクタ。
- 各取付プラットフォームは、対応するラッチに取付けられた可撓性部を有する、請求項7に記載のコネクタ。
- 各ラッチ及び取付プラットフォームは2個の別個の部品として形成される、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記側壁が両端を備え、ハウジングは、側壁の両端にある端部と、該端部を貫通して設けられた開口とを含み、各ラッチは突出する突起を含み、各取付プラットフォームは、貫通して配設された開口を備え、前記突起は、対応する取付プラットフォームの対応する開口と対応する端部の対応する開口とを貫通している、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記取付プラットフォームの開口は端部に配設された開口よりも小さい、請求項11に記載のコネクタ。
- 各ラッチは突出する突起を含み、各取付プラットフォームは、貫通して配設された開口を備え、前記突起は、対応する取付プラットフォームの対応する開口を貫通している、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記取付プラットフォームから延在する基板ロックを更に含む、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記取付プラットフォームが表面領域を備え、各端子が、プリント回路基板の表面に取付けられる表面領域を有し、前記取付プラットフォームの表面領域は、端子の表面領域の合計と略同じである、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。

モジュールと、
コネクタとを有する組合せであって、
前記コネクタは、モジュールを収容するスロットを画定する側壁を備えるハウジングと、該ハウジング内にスロットと連絡するように取付けられた端子と、側壁の両端に配設され、ハウジングと別体であり、プリント回路基板と当接するはんだネイルと、対応するはんだネイルに直接接続され、モジュールを取外し可能に保持するラッチとを含む組合せ。 - 各はんだネイルが実質的水平部を含み、ラッチに力が加えられたときに、該力ははんだネイルの実質的水平部に伝達される、請求項16に記載の組合せ。
- 前記はんだネイルの水平部はプリント回路基板にはんだ付される、請求項17に記載の組合せ。
- 前記端子はプリント回路基板に表面実装される、請求項16に記載の組合せ。
- 前記端子はプリント回路基板にスルーホール実装される、請求項16に記載の組合せ。
