Abstract
Description
本発明は、血小板形状の基質(platelet−shaped substrate)を含んで成っていて前記基質が(a)光を高度に反射する1番目の層(例えば銀、金、白金、パラジウム、ロジウム、ルテニウム、オスミウム、イリジウムまたはこれらの合金などの層)、(b)(i)金属の酸化物、窒化物、フッ化物もしくは炭化物または重合体のスペーサー層(spacer layer)[スネルの法則に従って入射角依存可変光路差(incident angle dependent variable pathlength difference)が最小限であるに充分なほど高い屈折率を示すか或は光学的に活性(optically active)でないほど薄い]または(ii)前記1番目の層(a)の上に直接位置する酸化鉄のいずれかである2番目の層で包み込まれている色効果材料(CEM)を提供する。本CEMに前記2番目の層(b)(i)を存在させる場合、本CEMに、場合により、(c)(i)前記1番目の層(a)の中の金属と同じまたは異なる金属である光透過性層または前記スペーサー層(b)(i)の中の材料とは異なりかつ前記スペーサー層材料が示す屈折率より高い屈折率を示すスペーサー層材料または(c)(ii)酸化鉄を含有させてもよい。必要ならば、本CEMに特殊な属性、例えば気候安定性、重合体分散性および化粧品適合性などを与える目的で、それに後処理を受けさせてもよい。本CEMを製造する方法もまた本発明の一部である。
(発明の説明)
本発明の1つの目的は、新規でありかつまた再現可能で技術的に効率が良くかつ信頼できる様式で調製可能な金属CEMを提供することにある。血小板形状の基質を含んで成っていて前記基質が(a)高い光反射率を示す1番目の層、(b)スペーサー層および場合により(c)光を透過する上方層(overlayer)で被覆されているCEMを用いて本目的を達成する。
(実施例41−43)
実施例32、37および39の中の1つに従って調製した酸化物である金属光沢効果材料をポリプロピレンステップチップの中に1%の濃度で混合する。前記ステップチップはチップ面を横切る各ステップ毎に少しづつ変わる厚みを有することから、そのように呼ぶのが適切であろう。そのように少しづつ変わるステップによって、効果材料が示すいろいろな効果を重合体の厚みを基にして検査することができる。
(実施例44−46)
実施例32、37および39の中の1つに従って調製した酸化物である金属光沢効果材料をネイルエナメルの中に混合する。10gのCEMを82gの懸濁用ラッカーSLF−2、4gのラッカー127Pおよび4gの酢酸エチルと混合する。前記懸濁用ラッカーSLF−2は、酢酸ブチル、トルエン、ニトロセルロース、トシルアミド/ホルムアルデヒド樹脂、イソプロピルアルコール、フタル酸ジブチル、酢酸エチル、樟脳、n−ブチルアルコールおよびシリカで構成されている一般的ネイルエナメルであり、そして127Pは粘度が中程度のニトロセルロースラッカーであり、これには酢酸ブチル、トルエン、ニトロセルロース、トシルアミド/ホルムアルデヒド樹脂、イソプロピルアルコール、フタル酸ジブチル、酢酸エチル、樟脳、n−ブチルアルコールおよびメトキシプロパノールアセテートが入っている。
(実施例47−48)
同様な様式で、実施例32、37および39の中の1つに従って調製した酸化物である効果材料をニトロセルロースが基になっていないネイルエナメルに混合する。10gの前記効果材料を82gのAvalure AC 315重合体、即ちエタノールとアセトンに入っているアクリル系重合体(ニトロセルロースの代わりに使用)と混合する。
(実施例49−50)
PGIコロナガン#110347を用いて、Tiger DrylacのポリエステルTGIC粉末塗料の中に実施例32または実施37で得た酸化物効果材料が10重量%入っている塗料組成物を噴霧する。前記効果材料を透明なポリエステル系の中に混合した後、RAL 9005黒色粉末噴霧基材の上に噴霧する。前記効果顔料は前記下塗り金属板に高度に引き寄せられる。加うるに、それは表面に高い親和性を示して密接して正確に位置することから、印象の明確さ(DOI)が高度な仕上げがもたらされる。突出[伝統的な真珠光沢(効果)および金属フレーク顔料を用いた時にしばしば引き起こされる]を軽減しようとして追加的クリアコートで被覆する必要はない。
(実施例51−52)
所望の色を達成する目的で、実施例32または実施例39に従って調製した酸化物である金属光沢効果材料が10%入っている分散液をいろいろなPPG染料と一緒に透明なアクリル系ウレタンベースコートクリアコート塗料系DBX−689(PPG)の中に混合する。前記染料ペーストはPPGのDMD Deltron Automotive Refinish塗装ラインに適した溶媒系にいろいろな濃度で分散している有機もしくは無機着色剤で構成されている。通常のサイフォンフィードスプレーガンを用いて、その完成させた配合物をGraphic Metalsが供給している4x12インチ(約10x30cm)の湾曲した自動車タイプパネルの上に噴霧する。前記パネルはPPG 2001高固体ポリウレタンクリアコートで透明被覆して空気で乾燥させたパネルである。
Claims (10)
- 血小板形状の基質を含んで成っていて前記基質が順次
(a)向かって来る光を高度に反射しかつ銀、金、白金、パラジウム、ロジウム、ルテニウム、オスミウム、イリジウムおよびこれらの合金から成る群から選択される1番目の層、および
(b)(i)スペーサー層でありかつ有意な入射角依存可変光路差を与えないか或は(ii)前記1番目の層(a)の上に直接位置する酸化鉄のいずれかである2番目の層、
で包み込まれている色効果材料。 - 前記2番目の層(b)(i)が存在しかつこれに追加的に(c)酸化鉄も含んで成る請求項1記載の色効果材料。
- 前記2番目の層(b)(ii)が存在する請求項1記載の色効果材料。
- 前記基質が雲母、酸化アルミニウム、オキシ塩化ビスマス、窒化ホウ素、ガラスフレーク、酸化鉄被覆雲母、酸化鉄被覆ガラス、二酸化ケイ素、二酸化チタン被覆雲母および二酸化チタン被覆ガラスから成る群から選択される請求項1記載の色効果材料。
- 前記1番目の層(a)が銀である請求項1記載の色効果材料。
- 向かって来る光を選択的に透過する外側層によって前記2番目の層(b)が包み込まれている請求項1記載の色効果材料。
- 前記選択的に透過する層がケイ素、二酸化ケイ素、二酸化チタン、酸化クロム、アルミニウム、酸化アルミニウムおよび混合金属酸化物から成る群から選択される請求項6記載の色効果材料。
- 前記2番目の層(b)(i)が二酸化ケイ素、フッ化マグネシウム、酸化マグネシウム、水酸化マグネシウム、酸化アルミニウム、水酸化アルミニウム、酸化チタンおよび水酸化チタンから成る群から選択される請求項2記載の色効果材料。
- 前記2番目の層(b)(i)が二酸化ケイ素である請求項8記載の色効果材料。
- 着色剤を含有する化粧品であって、前記着色剤が請求項1記載の色効果材料である化粧品。
