Abstract
Description
従来技術の多くのシステムで、SIR推定では、主として、平均値フィルタ(mean filter)を利用して信号と雑音の電力を計算し、望ましくないほど大きなバイアス寄与を生じていた。一般に、SIR推定は、SIR値が小さいほど、より大きく過剰推定されるが、これは第1には、より大きなバイアス寄与が原因である。

Claims (15)
- データ信号のSIR(signal-to-interference ratio、希望波信号電力対干渉波信号電力比)をデータ復調器出力に基づいて判定する方法であって、
(a)復調されたシンボルを前記データ復調器出力から受け取るステップと、
(b)前記復調されたシンボルの平均信号電力を、該シンボルの中央値に基づく平均電力値mdおよび平均値に基づく平均電力値meの関数としてQPSK(quadrature phase shift keying,4相位相シフトキーイング)信点号配置の象限ごとに推定するステップと、
(c)該シンボルの平均実効干渉電力を推定するステップと、
(d)該シンボルの推定平均信号電力を該シンボルの推定平均実効干渉電力で割ることで、前記SIRを計算するステップと
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記中央値に基づく平均電力値および前記平均値に基づく平均電力値の前記関数は、前記中央値に基づく平均電力値と前記平均値に基づく平均電力値のうちの最小値mを決定するための最小値関数である、請求項1の方法。
- 前記平均信号電力は、象限のすべてにわたって平均した前記中央値の絶対値と前記平均値の絶対値のうちの最小値の大きさの2乗に等しい、請求項2の方法。
- 前記データ信号は、復調されたデータシンボルを含む、請求項1の方法。
- 前記データシンボルは、DPCH(dedicated physical channel,個別物理チャネル)のバースト中に含まれる、請求項4の方法。
- 前記データシンボルは、QPSK(quadrature phase shift keying,4相位相シフトキーイング)データシンボルである、請求項4の方法。
- 前記データシンボルは、BPSK(binary phase shift keying,2相位相シフトキーイング)データシンボルである、請求項4の方法。
- 補正項Cを計算するステップをさらに含み、C=|md−me|2である、請求項1の方法。
- データビットの系列のSIR(signal-to-interference ratio,希望波信号電力対干渉波信号電力比)を判定する方法であって、
(a)前記データビットを受け取るステップと、
(b)該ビットの平均信号電力を、該ビットの中央値に基づく平均電力値mdおよび平均値に基づく平均電力値meの関数として推定するステップと、
(c)該ビットの平均実効干渉電力を推定するステップと、
(d)該ビットの推定平均信号電力を該ビットの推定平均実効干渉電力で割ることで、前記SIRを計算するステップと
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記中央値に基づく平均電力値および前記平均値に基づく平均電力値の前記関数は、前記中央値に基づく平均電力値と前記平均値に基づく平均電力値のうちの最小値mを決定するための最小値関数である、請求項12の方法。
- 前記平均信号電力は、前記象限のすべてにわたって平均した前記中央値の絶対値と前記平均値の絶対値のうちの最小値の大きさの2乗に等しい、請求項13の方法。
- 補正項Cを計算するステップをさらに含み、C=|md−me|2である、請求項12の方法。
