Description
Claims (21)
- カテーテルの作業管腔へ提供される吸引速度を規制するのに適した装置であって、
基端、先端、および前記基端と前記先端間に延在する作業管腔を有するカテーテルと、
前記作業管腔に連通するように前記カテーテルに連結された伸展性部材とを含み、
前記伸展性部材は、前記作業管腔への吸引レベルがしきい値未満に下がった場合の開放位置から、前記吸引レベルが前記しきい値を越えた場合に、前記伸展性部材が前記作業管腔を通る流れを少なくとも部分的に塞ぐ閉鎖位置まで移行するように構成されている、装置。 - 前記伸展性部材が前記カテーテルの伸展性部分内に設けられ、前記伸展性部分は前記伸展性部材とポリマー製カバーとを含んでいる請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記カテーテルが、前記伸展性部分に隣接して設けられた少なくとも一つの相対的剛性部分を更に含んでいる請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記相対的剛性部分が、内層、ワイヤ・ブレード、およびポリマー製カバーを含んでいる請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記伸展性部材の内面が、前記内層の内面と実質的に同一面になっている請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記伸展性部材が、前記カテーテルの基部領域に設けられている請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記伸展性部材が、前記カテーテルの先端に設けられている請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記ポリマー製カバー内に設けられた膨張管腔を更に含み、前記膨張管腔は前記カテーテルの先端に設けられた閉塞要素と、前記カテーテルの基端に連通する膨張ポートとの間に連結されている請求項2に記載の装置。
- 基端と先端を有する補強用鞘を更に含み、前記補強用鞘は前記伸展性部材を包むように設けられている請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記補強用鞘の基端が前記カテーテルの第一相対的剛性部分に固定され、前記補強用鞘の先端が前記カテーテルの第二相対的剛性部分に固定されている請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記補強用鞘の基端と先端が先細りになっている請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記伸展性部材が、前記カテーテルの内層に固定された伸展性鞘を含んでいる請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記伸展性部材が、所定の吸引しきい値に比例した所定の剛性を有する請求項1ニ記載の装置。
- カテーテルの作業管腔へ提供される吸引速度を規制する方法であって、
基端、先端、および前記基端と前記先端間に延在する作業管腔を有するカテーテルと、前記作業管腔に連通するように前記カテーテルに連結されかつ開放位置に位置する伸展性部材とを含む装置を準備し、
前記作業管腔へ吸引を提供し、
吸引速度が所定のしきい値を越えた場合に、前記伸展性部材を前記開放位置から閉鎖位置に移行させることを含み、
前記閉鎖位置において前記伸展性部材が前記作業管腔を通る流れを少なくとも部分的に塞ぐようにする、方法。 - 前記吸引速度が前記所定しきい値未満に下がったときに、前記伸展性部材を前記開放位置に戻すことを更に含む請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記伸展性部材が伸展性部分内に設けられ、前記伸展性部分を少なくとも一つの相対的剛性部分に隣接して設けることを更に含む請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記伸展性部分を基端と先端を有する補強用鞘の中に包むことを更に含み、前記基端は第一相対的剛性部分に固定され、前記先端は第二相対的剛性部分に固定されている請求項16に記載の方法。
- 装置を準備することが、前記伸展性部材が前記カテーテルの内層に固定された伸展性鞘を含む装置を準備することを含む請求項14に記載の方法。
- 装置を準備することが、前記伸展性部材が所定の吸引しきい値に比例する所定の剛性を有する装置を準備することを含む請求項14に記載の方法。
- 装置を準備することが、前記伸展性部材の材料の性質を変えることによって剛性が決定された装置を準備することを含む請求項14に記載の方法。
- 装置を準備することが、前記伸展性部材の長手方向の長さを変えることによって剛性が決定された装置を準備することを含む請求項14に記載の方法。
