Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a capacitor discharge type stud welding gun for use in a portable capacitor discharge type stud welding machine that is easy to carry.
Conventionally, a capacitor discharge type stud welding gun used for a portable capacitor discharge type stud welding machine has a structure in which a stud attached to a tip portion (for example, a tip chuck) of the welding gun is pressed against a metal plate as a welded portion with a constant pressure. Have. The pressing at a constant pressure can be adjusted by turning a pressure adjustment spring built in the welding gun and turning an adjustment knob provided outside.
Further, the tip of the stud is usually provided with a projection for promoting welding during discharge. The diameter of the protrusion is very small compared to the width dimension (diameter) of the stud, and is welded to the surface of the metal plate by pressing with a welding gun and discharging with a capacitor.
However, if the pressing pressure is too large, the protrusion is deformed, the diameter is increased, the current density per unit area is lowered, and appropriate welding cannot be performed. For this reason, the user needs to make several trial hits in order to set an appropriate spring pressure condition.
Performing the trial hit every time the stud material or size changes is a heavy burden in work. In particular, in the case of a relatively soft material such as an aluminum material, the protrusion has a large diameter and is likely to be deformed. Therefore, an appropriate spring pressure setting operation has been a greater burden.
Also, in corrugated wire welding of iron, which is often used in automobile sheet metal repairs, the pressure adjustment spring must be set harder than in the case of aluminum. For this reason, the user must re-adjust the adjustment knob by moving it to match the stud material of aluminum or iron each time, and reproduce the appropriate spring pressure to ensure stable welding quality. It was very time consuming.
For reducing the labor, the conductive material made of a conductive material and arranged to be movable up and down, the mounting jig provided at the tip of the conductive material to hold the stud material to be welded, and these In a stud welding gun having a holder for holding the stud, a linear motor capable of controlling the vertical movement distance of the energizing material is used as the driving means (see, for example, Patent Document 1). Is known.
As another example, a cylindrical main body having a chuck for receiving a stud to be welded to the tip of the housing slidably along the axial direction in the housing, and the cylindrical main body always facing the tip direction. And a connecting energization member for continuing a welding cable from a welding capacitor of a welding power source device for flowing a welding current between a stud to be welded and a base material. In a capacitor discharge type stud welding gun in which a welding current is passed between the base material and the stud via the stud and the stud is pressed against the base material to be welded, an adjustment member capable of adjusting the pressure applied to the stud by the spring; A scale member attached to the rear end of the cylindrical carrier, and the adjustment member is adjusted to the scale of the scale member to adjust to the stud. Capacitor discharge stud welding gun (e.g., see
Since the invention according to
By providing the scale member, the invention according to
However, for example, when an attempt is made to switch between an aluminum stud and an iron stud, the pressure values differ greatly, and the adjustment member must be moved greatly each time. Since the invention according to
In addition, capacitor discharge type stud welding is performed in a very short time of about 0.001 to 0.003 seconds, and does not leave a welding mark on the back surface of the base material (sheet metal) to which the stud is attached. Although there are advantages compared with other stud welding methods, there is a disadvantage that the nugget portion is thin in order to control the applied pressure, and the joint strength is slightly weaker than other stud welding methods.
In addition to this, especially when specially shaped metal pieces such as iron corrugated wires are welded to the sheet metal (base metal) by capacitor discharge type stud welding, the corrugated valleys that continue at regular intervals are continued. By welding using the corrugated wire bit, the current for welding is shunted to the previously welded portion. This tendency is particularly remarkable when the pressing force of the corrugated wire bit is weak. For this reason, when the pressing force is weak, a sufficient welding current cannot be secured. In addition, with a weak pressing force, contact failure occurs on the surface of the sheet metal, and there may be a problem that the front and back surfaces of the sheet metal are burned.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, is light and easy to handle, can be provided at low cost, can be adjusted accurately and easily with respect to the size and type of the stud, and can be reliably fused. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a capacitor discharge type stud welding gun in which the front and back surfaces of a sheet metal are not burned.
A cylinder, a gripping part connected to a side of the cylinder, an electrode slide rod, and a welding switch; the cylinder holding a stud; a spring for adjusting pressure applied to the stud; In a capacitor discharge type stud welding gun having a spring pressure adjustment knob for adjusting the amount of spring pressurization, a spring pressure switching interlocking with the electrode slide rod and having a plurality of switching positions corresponding to the stud material A capacitor discharge type stud welding gun comprising a lever, wherein the spring pressurization amount of the electrode slide rod is switched stepwise depending on the switching position of the spring pressure switching lever. It is a means.
According to the present invention, a cylinder, a grip portion connected to a side portion of the cylinder, an electrode slide rod, and a welding switch are provided. The cylinder includes a stud holding portion that holds a stud, and pressurization adjustment to the stud. In a capacitor discharge type stud welding gun used in a portable capacitor discharge type stud welding machine provided with a spring for performing and a spring pressure adjustment knob for adjusting the amount of spring pressure, in conjunction with the electrode slide rod, and The stud used is provided with a spring pressure switching lever having a plurality of switching positions corresponding to the stud material, and the spring pressure amount of the electrode slide rod is switched stepwise by the switching position of the spring pressure switching lever. To change the material of the stud, simply move the spring pressure switching lever with your finger, Can be a integer region, it can greatly improve the workability.
Further, in addition to the invention according to
Also, when using a manual circuit, set the spring pressure switching lever to the center fixed position, select the second welding switch with the switching switch, and push the stud and manually operate the second welding switch to perform reliable stud implantation. Can do.
More specifically, when the spring pressure switching lever is set at the center fixed position, unlike the case where the spring pressure switching lever is set when iron or aluminum is selected, the buffering action of the spring can be cut off. As a result, the force that the operator grips and presses the welding gun is directly transmitted to the base material, and sufficient pressing force can be secured for welding. In other words, even when welding something that is not suitable for capacitor discharge type stud welding such as iron corrugated wire, the buffering effect of the spring can be invalidated by selecting manually (second welding switch) Therefore, it is possible to press strongly against a corrugated wire or the like, and a current can be sufficiently supplied to a target welding portion. Further, it is possible to prevent burning of the front and back surfaces of the sheet metal resulting from poor contact, and to perform the blasting reliably and with good appearance.
In addition to the structure of the invention according to
As disclosed in
In the capacitor discharge type stud welding machine according to
Further, when the capacitor discharge type stud welding gun according to
The present invention includes a cylinder, a gripping portion connected to a side portion of the cylinder, and a welding switch, and the cylinder includes a stud holding portion that holds a stud, a spring for performing pressure adjustment on the stud, and a spring.

A second welding switch 16 (limit switch) is provided near the front base in the

In the vicinity of the rear end of the

The capacitor discharge type
Of the portable capacitor discharge type stud welding machine using the capacitor discharge type
As shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, a
As described above, the capacitor discharge type
When the capacitor discharge
In addition, since the capacitor discharge type
Regarding the capacitor discharge type
First, the state at the time of welding is demonstrated about the case where the
When the capacitor discharge type
Next, the state at the time of welding is demonstrated about the case where the
When the capacitor discharge type
When the
When the
In the above automatic welding, a finer pressing force can be set by adjusting the spring
In the present invention, the spring
バネ圧力切換レバー14を中央のロック位置C(即ち、バネ18の弾性が作用しない状態)とする。
A state where a stud having a special shape such as a corrugated wire 8 is welded to the
In this state, as shown in FIG. 8, if the capacitor discharge
As manual welding other than the above-described method, the spring
