Description

The present invention relates to a terminal connection structure for a wiring board.

Conventionally, in an electronic device having a resin case and a wiring board disposed in the case, such as a ceiling type alarm for a gas leak alarm or a fire alarm, a power supply terminal or a wiring board for supplying power to the wiring board An external output terminal for outputting a signal from the outside to the outside is provided. The power supply terminal and the external output terminal are metal pin-like connection terminals each having a portion exposed to the inside and the outside of the case, and are fixed to the case. Then, the wiring board and the connection terminal are electrically connected by inserting and soldering a connector attached to the end of the lead wire extending from the wiring board to the connection terminal.

10A, 10B, and 10C are a plan view, a partial cross-sectional view, and an overall cross-sectional view showing a schematic configuration of a conventional ceiling type alarm device, respectively. In FIG. 10, the ceiling type alarm is provided in a case 1 including a resin lower case 2 and an upper case 3 via a screw insertion portion 10 a provided on a wiring board 10 on a boss 3 a formed integrally with the upper case. By tightening the screw 13, the wiring board 10 is fixed. A plurality of connection terminals (feeding terminal 4 and external output terminal 5) are attached to case 1 so as to be exposed to the outside of case 1, and connector 12 attached to lead wire 11 extending from wiring board 10 serves as the connection terminal. Inserted and soldered.
JP-A-10-28383 (paragraph numbers 0006 to 0007)

However, a plurality of lead wires 11 are wired on the wiring board 10, and this lead wire hinders work when soldering the connector 12 and the connection terminal. Further, noise resistance may be deteriorated depending on the position of the lead wire 11. Further, when the upper case 3 and the lower case 2 are assembled and assembled, the lead wire 11 may interfere with the case fitting surface, and the assembling property is also deteriorated. It was. Moreover, since the cross-sectional area of the connection terminal is large and the heat capacity is increased, the solderability is poor and the soldering time is long. Furthermore, if the soldering iron is kept in contact with the soldering portion for a long time, the resin in the case that is in contact with the connection terminal may be deformed and may not be used as a product.

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a terminal connection structure for a wiring board in which assembly and solderability are improved in view of the above-described conventional problems.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, a wiring board is fixed in a resin case, and power is supplied to the wiring board or signals from the wiring board by a plurality of connection terminals attached to the case so as to be exposed to the outside of the case. According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the terminal connection structure for a wiring board according to the second aspect, the plurality of terminal fittings are positioned and assembled so that all directions from the base portion toward the intermediate portion are the same direction. It is characterized by being.

According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the terminal connection structure for a wiring board according to any one of the first to third aspects, the tip of the other end of the terminal fitting has an R shape in the width direction. And a taper shape in the thickness direction.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, since there is no connection terminal connection lead wire on the upper surface of the wiring board, the assemblability, solderability and noise resistance are improved. Further, since the soldering iron is not directly applied to the connection terminals, the resin case is not deformed. Further, since the wiring board is fixed in a floating state in the case with the cantilever support of the terminal fitting, it is possible to alleviate deformation, drop impact, etc. due to temperature changes in the market.

According to the invention of claim 2, the terminal fitting can be positioned when the terminal fitting is assembled.

Hereinafter, the case where it implements with the ceiling type alarm device about embodiment of the terminal connection structure of the wiring board which concerns on this invention is demonstrated. 1A and 1B are a plan view and a cross-sectional view showing a terminal assembly state in a ceiling type alarm device, respectively, and FIG. 2 is a plan view showing an assembly state of a wiring board.

In the ceiling type alarm device, a wiring board 10 is arranged between a lower case 2 and an upper case 3 (not shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 but the same as in FIG. 10), and the lower case 2 and the upper case 3 is built in the case 1 fitted and assembled. Wiring board 10 is fixed by screwing a screw to a boss formed integrally with the upper case via screw insertion portion 10a, as shown in FIG. A power supply terminal 4 and an external output terminal 5 as connection terminals are fixed to the lower case 2. The terminal fitting 6 is assembled together with the power supply terminal 4 and the external output terminal 5 by screwing. The wiring board 10 is held by the cantilevered terminal fitting 6 by inserting the tips of the four terminal fittings 6 into the long holes 10b provided in the wiring lands of the wiring board 10 and soldering 9. Has been.

FIG. 3 is a view showing the shape of the terminal fitting 6. The terminal fitting 6 is formed by bending a plate material provided with a screw insertion hole 6b in a base portion 6a formed in a substantially circular shape at one end portion at a substantially right angle at an intermediate portion 6c. A crushing portion 6e for maintaining a squareness is formed in the intermediate portion 6c bent substantially at a right angle. The tip 6d of the other end of the terminal fitting 6 is formed in an R shape in the width direction and is tapered so that the thickness decreases toward the tip.

Next, a method for assembling the ceiling type alarm will be described.

First, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 8, the power feeding terminal 4 and the external output terminal 5 are attached to the lower case 2. As shown in FIG. 5, the power supply terminal 4 is formed by bending a plate material into a crank shape, and a screw hole 4b is provided in the intermediate portion 4a. The power supply terminal 4 is fixed to a power supply terminal mounting portion 2 a as a connection terminal mounting portion formed on the lower case 2 with a screw 7 together with the terminal fitting 6. As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the power supply terminal mounting portion 2a is provided with a screw insertion hole 2a1, a terminal fitting insertion hole 2a2, and a power supply terminal insertion hole 2a3. The dimensions y and z of the terminal fitting insertion hole 2a2 are set such that z <x <y with respect to the outer diameter x of the base portion 6a of the terminal fitting 6.

Therefore, as shown in FIG. 6A, the base 6a side of the terminal fitting 6 is inserted into the terminal fitting insertion hole 2a2, and then the pin of the power supply terminal 4 is inserted into the power supply terminal insertion hole 2a3 from the outside of the lower case 2. Insert the screw 7 into the screw insertion hole 6b and the screw hole 4b and tighten and fix. At the time of this tightening, the terminal fitting 6 is electrically connected to the base portion 6a of the power feeding terminal 4 by being pressed against the intermediate portion 4a, and as shown in FIG. The power supply terminal mounting portion 2a is positioned by hitting the partition wall 2a4. That is, the partition wall 2a4 functions as a rotation stopper. The terminal fitting 6 assembled in this way will not come off due to the dimensional relationship of x, y, z.

As shown in FIG. 8, the external output terminal 5 is formed in a pin shape in which a flange portion 5a is formed in the middle and a screw thread 5b is cut from the flange portion 5a toward one end portion. The lower case 2 is integrally formed with an external output terminal mounting portion 2b as a connection terminal mounting portion. The external output terminal mounting portion 2b is provided with an external output terminal insertion hole 2b1 and a rib partition wall 2b2. The external output terminal 5 is fixed to the external output terminal mounting portion 2b by the nut 8 and the spring washer 8a together with the terminal fitting 6.

Therefore, one end of the external output terminal 5 where the thread 5b is cut is inserted into the external output terminal insertion hole 2b1 from the outside of the lower case 2, and then the external output terminal 5 is inserted into the screw insertion hole 6b. The terminal fitting 6 is fitted so that one end is inserted, and then the spring washer 8a and the nut 8 are fitted and tightened and fixed. At the time of this tightening, the base 6a is electrically connected to the external output terminal 5 through the spring washer 8a and the nut 8 at the base 6a, and is rotated in the tightening direction of the arrow as shown in FIG. Then, it is positioned by hitting the rib partition wall 2b2.

The state after assembly of the power supply terminal 4, the external output terminal 5, and the terminal fitting 6 is shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 1, the four terminal fittings 6 are positioned and assembled so that the directions from the base 6a to the intermediate portion 6c are all the same direction (vertical direction in FIG. 1).

And as shown in FIG. 4, the front-end | tip 6d of the four terminal metal fittings 6 is inserted in the four long holes 10b formed according to the position of the terminal metal fitting 6 in the wiring land of the wiring board 10. As shown in FIG. Subsequently, as shown in FIGS. 5, 8 and 2, soldering 9 is performed. At this time, in order to insert the plurality of terminal fittings 6 into the plurality of elongated holes 10b, respectively, the tolerance of the power supply terminal attaching portion 2a and the external output terminal attaching portion 2b of the lower case 2, the tolerance of the terminal fitting 6, and the connection terminal (that is, The terminal fitting 6 cannot be smoothly inserted into the elongated hole 10b due to the accumulation of tolerances such as the assembly tolerance at the time of press contact between the power supply terminal 4 and the external output terminal 5) and the terminal fitting 6 and the tolerance of the elongated hole 10b of the wiring board 10. There are challenges.

In order to solve such a problem, as shown in FIG. 3, the intermediate portion 6c of the terminal fitting 6 is formed in an R shape so that it can be easily inserted in the lateral direction. Also, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the shape of the tip 6d of the terminal fitting 6 is made R-shaped in the width direction, and the thickness direction is crushed toward the tip to form a taper so that it can be easily inserted. Yes. Further, when the terminal fitting 6 is assembled, in order to prevent the terminal fitting 6 from rotating too much in the screw tightening direction, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 9, the partition wall 2a4 of the feeder terminal mounting portion 2a and the external output terminal mounting A rib partition wall 2b2 for the portion 2b is provided.

With the configuration as described above, as shown in FIG. 2, the tips 6d of the four terminal fittings 6 can be smoothly inserted into the four long holes 10b. When the cross section of the terminal fitting at the soldering portion is 0.4 mm or less in thickness and 1.8 mm or less in width, the heat capacity of the terminal fitting is small, and the solderability can be remarkably shortened. Finally, although not shown, an upper case similar to the upper case 3 shown in FIG. 10 is fitted to the lower case 2, and a screw insertion portion 10a provided on the wiring board 10 on a boss formed integrally with the upper case. By tightening the screw via the wiring board 10, the wiring board 10 is fixed, and the assembly of the ceiling type alarm is completed.

As described above, according to the present invention, since there is no lead wire for connecting the connection terminal on the wiring board 10, the assembling property, the soldering property, and the noise resistance are improved. Specifically, the skinning work, which took about 20 seconds at one place, can be completed in about 2 seconds and about 1/10 of the time. Further, since the soldering iron is not directly applied to the connection terminals, the resin case 1 is not deformed. Further, since the wiring board 10 is held in a cantilevered state of the terminal fitting 6, it is possible to mitigate deformation, drop impact, and the like due to temperature changes in the market.

As described above, the best mode of the present invention has been described, but the present invention is not limited to this, and various modifications and applications are possible.
