Abstract
一方のICカードの挿入スペースの内側に、これよりも幅が狭く高さも低くかつコンタクト部分も挿入手前側に設けた他方のICカードの挿入スペースを確保したICカード用コネクタを提供すること。
【解決手段】
一方のICカードの挿入孔内に、この一方のICカードよりも幅が狭くかつ高さ方向の一端が一方のICカードの挿入孔内に位置する他方のICカードの挿入スペースを、前記一方のICカードの挿入スペースと少なくとも一部を共有させて設け、この一方のICカードとの挿入スペースの共有部分を他方のICカードの挿入スペースとして区切るためのプレートを設け、このプレートは、他方のICカードが未挿入の状態で前記一方のICカードを挿入した場合には一方のICカードの挿入スペースから逃げて一方のICカードの挿入スペースを空ける機構を具備して設けた。

Claims (3)
- 複数種類のICカードを共通のコネクタハウジングの挿入孔に差込んでICカードの電極と挿入孔内のコンタクトを接続するようにしたICカード用コネクタにおいて、一方のICカードの挿入孔内に、この一方のICカードよりも幅が狭くかつ高さ方向の一端が一方のICカードの挿入孔内に位置する他方のICカードの挿入スペースを、前記一方のICカードの挿入スペースと少なくとも一部を共有させて設け、この一方のICカードとの挿入スペースの共有部分を他方のICカードの挿入スペースとして区切るためのプレートを設け、このプレートは、他方のICカードが未挿入の状態で前記一方のICカードを挿入した場合には一方のICカードの挿入スペースから逃げて一方のICカードの挿入スペースを空ける機構を具備して設けられていることを特徴とするICカード用コネクタ。
- プレートには、一方のICカードを抜き取った場合に一方のICカードの挿入スペースから逃げていた位置から他方のICカードの挿入スペースを区切る位置まで復帰するための復帰力を持たせたことを特徴とする請求項1記載のICカード用コネクタ。
- プレートは、コネクタハウジングに対して4箇所に設けたヒンジによって固定することで、挿入後方側にスライドしながら沈み込むように構成すると共に、この4箇所のヒンジのうち少なくとも1箇所のヒンジに対してトーションバネを巻き付けて構成することで、前記一方のICカードを挿入することでプレート全体が沈み込んだときに、前記トーションバネに復帰力が蓄積されて、前記一方のICカードを抜き取ったときに前記他方のICカードの挿入スペースを区切っていた元の位置まで復帰するように構成したことを特徴とする請求項1記載のICカード用コネクタ。
