Abstract
【解決手段】内燃機関から排出される排気ガス中のCO、CO2およびTHC等の炭素化合物に係る成分の排出量に基づき、当該内燃機関の仕事量を算出することで、ECUが有しているトルクデータ等を用いることなく内燃機関の仕事量を簡単に算出し、内燃機関の単位仕事量あたりに排出される排気ガス中の各成分の質量を算出することを可能とした。

Description
本実施形態に係る排気ガス測定装置は車両搭載型のもので、図1にその概略構成を示すように、自動車等の車両の内燃機関Eから排出された排気ガスGが導入される流路系10と、その流路系10上に設けられて排気ガスG中の種々の成分濃度を測定する排気ガス濃度測定部としての3つの分析計、すなわち、サンプルガスである排気ガスG中のCO、CO2及びH2Oの濃度を測定する赤外線ガス分析計30と、THC(トータルハイドロカーボン、炭化水素類)の濃度を測定する水素炎イオン化分析計40と、NOXの濃度を測定するCLD式NOX計50と、これらの各分析計30、40、50からの測定結果データを収集して目的に応じた分析を行うとともに、流路系10に配置された圧力制御弁等の制御を行う情報処理装置60とを備えている。

Claims (9)
- 前記内燃機関から排出される排気ガス中の炭素化合物に係る成分の濃度を測定する排気ガス濃度測定部を備え、
測定した炭素化合物に係る成分の濃度と排気ガスの流量とから、前記炭素化合物に係る成分の排出量を算出し、その排出量から当該内燃機関の仕事量を算出することを特徴とする排気ガス測定装置。 - 前記内燃機関の仕事量に基づいて、当該内燃機関が単位仕事量あたりに排出する排気ガスの質量または排気ガス中の所定成分の質量を算出する請求項1記載の排気ガス測定装置。
- 前記炭素化合物に係る成分が、少なくともCO、CO2および炭化水素類である請求項1又は2記載の排気ガス測定装置。
- 炭素化合物に係る成分の排出量から燃料消費量を算出し、その燃料消費量に、予め定められた当該燃料の燃焼エネルギと内燃機関の燃焼効率とをかけることにより、当該内燃機関の仕事量を算出する請求項1から3いずれかに記載の排気ガス測定装置。
- 前記排気ガス中の炭素化合物に係る成分の濃度を、特定の時間区域において積算して求め、その積算した値から、前記時間区域内において前記内燃機関から排出される排気ガス中の炭素化合物に係る成分の排出量を算出する請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の排気ガス測定装置。
- 前記時間区域が、排気ガスの流量が脈動する周期に応じて定められている請求項5に記載の排気ガス測定装置。
- 内燃機関から排出される排気ガス中の炭素化合物に係る成分の排出量を時系列的に連続して測定し、その排出量のみから当該内燃機関の仕事量を算出することを特徴とする車載型排気ガス測定装置。
- 前記内燃機関から排出される排気ガス中の炭素化合物に係る成分の濃度を測定し、その測定した成分の濃度と排気ガスの流量とから、前記炭素化合物に係る成分の排出量を算出し、その排出量から当該内燃機関の仕事量を算出することを特徴とする排気ガス測定方法。
- 前記内燃機関の仕事量に基づいて、当該内燃機関の単位仕事量あたりの排気ガス排出質量または排気ガス中の所定成分の質量を算出する請求項8記載の排気ガス測定方法。
