Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a device capable of performing thrombus treatment, stone destruction and coagulation in a living body.
The method of forming a shock wave by focusing from the outside requires a complicated device and the need to use multiple transducers, and requires very high accuracy, so it can be used for the treatment of winding narrow blood vessels. difficult.
The methods described in
On the other hand, the methods described in
It is an object of the present invention to provide a therapeutic apparatus that can be used for a wide range of in vivo thrombus treatment, including treatments such as thrombus destruction, dissolution, hemostasis, and coagulation.
In order to solve the above-described problems, a medical treatment apparatus according to the present invention includes a means for generating an electromagnetic wave provided outside a living body, a means for generating an ultrasonic wave, a role of an electrode for generating the electromagnetic wave, and an ultrasonic wave. It is characterized by comprising a wire that also serves to transmit vibration, a means for sucking a broken thrombus, and a means for injecting a medicine or the like.
The electromagnetic wave generating means may be attached at the same position as the ultrasonic wave generating means, or the electromagnetic wave generating means may be installed outside the living body and irradiated. The wire can be inserted into the blood vessel by inserting it into a thin tube such as a stent or catheter that has been previously inserted into the blood vessel. The diameter of the wire is 0.01 mm to 10 mm. It may be inserted into the blood vessel at the same time as the catheter from the beginning, or may be directly inserted into a portion other than the blood vessel of the living body. As the electromagnetic wave generating means, a high frequency power source having a frequency of 1 MHz to 100 GHz can be used. When irradiating the whole living body with electromagnetic waves, it is preferable to use a high frequency power source having a frequency of 10 MHz to 100 MHz in consideration of the influence of heating on the living body. When electromagnetic waves are passed through the catheter and plasma is formed at the catheter tip, an electromagnetic wave generator of a microwave oven with a frequency of 2.45 GHz may be used. As the ultrasonic wave generating means, an ultrasonic oscillator having a frequency of 10 kHz to 10 MHz is used. The ultrasonic wave propagates through the wire passing through the catheter and vibrates in the vicinity of the wire tip. In this state, an electromagnetic wave having a frequency of 1 MHz to 100 GHz is input into the catheter, or a living body is irradiated from the outside, whereby high-frequency plasma is generated using the wire as an electrode. Drugs can be injected as needed, and broken thrombus and calculus are removed by a suction device.
Since the medical treatment device of the present invention uses a wire as an antenna, a high-energy liquid plasma is locally generated in any place in the living body to destroy a thrombus, thermal coagulation, or calculus. It has the effect of being able to perform treatments such as sintering, chemical effects and reaction and acceleration of decomposition.
The best mode for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a conceptual diagram showing an example of a medical treatment apparatus. FIG. 2 is a conceptual diagram showing another example of a medical treatment apparatus.
The
Next, another embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. In this example, the electromagnetic wave generation means 9 is irradiated toward the inside of the living body from a position away from the ultrasonic wave generation means 2. In this case, the wire itself functions as an antenna and acts as an electrode after absorbing electromagnetic energy. The location of electromagnetic wave irradiation can be arbitrarily selected. In order to generate plasma efficiently, the electromagnetic wave generating means 9 of FIG. 1 may be used in combination.
A first embodiment of the present invention will be described. The
A second embodiment of the present invention will be described. The
A third embodiment of the present invention will be described. The
The medical treatment apparatus of the present invention can generate high energy plasma.
