Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の安定なラテックス粒子は、イソシアナート化合物とアニオン界面活性剤を含んで成るエマルションを調製し、当該エマルションに二官能性、三官能性又は多官能性反応剤を加え、そしてエマルション中で前記二官能性、三官能性又は多官能性反応剤を撹拌することで製造される。安定なラテックス粒子を含むインクジェットインクを形成する方法及びそれにより形成されたインクジェットインクも開示する。

実施例
以下の実施例において、本発明に従ってインクジェットプリンタのペンを用いて印刷媒体上にインクジェットインク組成物を印刷するための組成物、方法及びシステムの種々の実施形態を説明する。以下の実施例は、単なる例示であって、本発明の範囲を限定する意は何らない。
式中、Rは、脂肪族基又は芳香族基とし得、nは任意の整数とし得る。
Claims (10)
- ウレタンポリマーを含む安定なラテックス粒子を製造する方法であって、
イソシアナート化合物とアニオン界面活性剤を含むエマルションを調製し、
前記エマルションに二官能性、三官能性又は多官能性反応剤を付加し、そして
前記二官能性、三官能性又は多官能性反応剤を前記エマルション中で撹拌して成る、
方法。 - さらに、前記安定なラテックス粒子を、着色剤がその中に混合されたインクビヒクルと混合するステップを包含する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記安定なラテックス粒子が、約50nm〜約500nmの寸法を有する、請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記安定なラテックス粒子が、約200nmの寸法を有する、請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記ウレタンポリマーが、グリセロール、二官能性、三官能性又は多官能性イソシアナート、トリアミン、トリアルコール及びそれらの任意の組合せから成る群から選択された化合物により架橋結合されている、請求項1〜5の何れか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記二官能性、三官能性又は多官能性反応剤が、1,6−ジイソシアナートヘキサンである、請求項1〜7の何れか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記安定なラテックス粒子が、インクビヒクル中に約1〜約10%の量にて含まれる、請求項2〜8の何れか1項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜9の何れか1項に記載の方法によって製造された製品。
