(Perforated part 10)
The perforated part 10 will be described. 3 is a plan view showing the configuration of the punching unit 10, FIG. 4 is a side view showing the configuration of the punching unit 10, and FIG. 5 is an AA sectional view showing the configuration of the punching unit 10. 6A and 6B are explanatory diagrams showing the punching operation of the punching section. Specifically, FIG. 6A is an explanatory diagram when detecting the trailing edge of the paper, and FIG. 6B is an explanatory diagram when detecting the paper side edge. FIG. 6C is an explanatory diagram when the center of the sheet coincides with the center of the perforation.

As shown in FIGS. 3, 4, and 5, the punching unit 10 includes a moving unit 10 </ b> A, a punching unit 10 </ b> B placed on the moving unit, and the like.

When the movement motor M1 rotates, the movement means 10A operates such that the rack 132 moves in the Z direction via the gear train 131, the slide bearing 15a integrated with the rack 132 moves along the guide shaft 14, and the slide bearing 15a. The mounting table 15 integrated with the The rack 132 is provided with a position sensor HP1 for detecting the home position. Further, the punching means 10B mounted on the mounting table 15 moves.

The paper position detecting means 19 is provided with reflection type optical sensors S1 to S5 on the mounting table 15, and is attached so as to correspond to the paper width to be punched. Each sensor is set so as to come to a position 5 mm inside the one side end portion at a position where there is no deviation of various sizes of paper.

When the side edge of the paper is detected by a sensor (here, sensor S1) corresponding to the size of the paper, the position of the paper is detected by rotating the moving motor M1 in the reverse direction and again by the sensor S1 being the side edge of the paper S. Until the position is detected, the entire punching means 10B is moved so that the sensor S1 moves from the outside to the inside of the sheet, and the position of the side edge of the sheet is detected.

The punching means 10 </ b> B is mounted on the mounting table 15. In operation, when the drilling motor M2 fixed to the mounting table 15 rotates, the pin 162 rotates via the gear train 161. The slide cam 17 has a V-shaped groove-shaped cam 17b. The V-shaped groove-shaped cam includes a V-shaped valley portion that allows the punch to enter the die hole and both end portions that wait for the punch to be separated from the die hole. The pin 162 is fitted in a groove 17a provided in the slide cam 17, and when the pin 162 rotates, the slide cam 17 operates in the Z direction. When the slide cam 17 is actuated, the V-shaped groove-shaped cam is moved, and the two punch blades 18a are actuated through the pins 17c to perforate. The slide cam 17 is provided with two position sensors HP2a and HP2b for detecting the home position.

The timing of punching the sheet is determined after the sensor S5 provided to detect the trailing edge of the sheet S detects the trailing edge of the sheet, and then the rotation of the registration roller pair 60 is stopped after the sheet is conveyed by a predetermined distance. Then, the slide cam 17 is moved downward at a predetermined timing, and the paper S is punched at a predetermined position.

(Control related block)
Here, the control system of the sheet post-processing apparatus C will be described. FIG. 7 is a block diagram of a control system of the sheet post-processing apparatus C. 70 is a control means, M1 is a moving motor for driving the moving means, M2 is a punching motor for driving the punching means, HP1 is a position sensor for detecting the position of the moving means, and HP2a and HP2b are position sensors for detecting the position of the punching means. , S1 to S5 are sensors for detecting the paper position.

The control means 70 includes a CPU, a ROM, a RAM, and an I / O, and controls each block. Further, the control means 70 controls to correct the displacement of the moving means 10A due to the influence of the punching means 10B during operation. . The amount of correction of this positional deviation is obtained experimentally in the forward and backward steps of the slide cam 17 formed in the punching means 10A, stored in a memory, and called for when necessary. As a cause of this positional shift, for example, a backlash of a gear train can be considered.

The amount of movement of the moving means 10A is the amount of movement from the position of the side edge of the paper so that the center of the punch blade 18a of the punching means 10B comes to the center of the paper S after the detection of the position of the side edge of the paper. It is calculated by adding a correction amount due to misalignment. When the amount of movement of the moving means 10A is determined, the number of pulses of the moving motor M1, which is a pulse motor, is determined, and the punching means 10B is moved to a predetermined position, so that the center of the punch blade 18a comes to the center of the paper (FIG. 6c). reference).

(Description of drilling method)
The paper post-processing method of the present invention will be described with reference to the paper post-processing apparatus of the embodiment. In the paper post-processing method, the paper is transported and punched by the punching means 10B mounted on the moving means 10A that moves in the Z direction orthogonal to the X direction for transporting the paper. At this time, the displacement of the moving means 10A due to the influence of the punching means 10B during operation is corrected. Specifically, for example, the movement means 10A is corrected to be displaced due to the vibration or impact caused by the reciprocating drive of the slide cam of the punching means 10B and the movement means 10A acting.

Here, as an example of a punching method, an example of punching two sheets of A3 size paper will be described. When a setting for punching two holes on two sheets (A3 size) is input from an operation panel (not shown) and the start button is pressed, the first original is read and a toner image is formed. The first sheet is conveyed to the sheet post-processing apparatus C, the position of the sheet is detected, the amount of movement of the moving unit 10A is calculated including a positional deviation error, and the moving unit 10A is moved to a predetermined position. After detecting the trailing edge position of the sheet, the sheet is conveyed, punched in the forward process of the slide cam 17, and then the sheet S is discharged to the outside. Similarly, for the second original, the second original is read to form a toner image. The second sheet is conveyed to the sheet post-processing apparatus C, the position of the sheet is detected, and the amount of movement of the moving unit 10A is estimated by estimating the position error. The moving means 10A is moved to a predetermined position, the paper is conveyed after detection of the rear end position of the paper, punched in the backward process of the slide cam 17, and the rear paper S is discharged to the outside.

As described above, the influence on the moving means during the operation of the punching means is corrected and the punching means is moved correctly, so that the paper can be punched accurately.

In the embodiment, the positional deviation of the moving unit 10A is corrected for each of the forward process and the backward process of the punching unit 10B. However, for example, when the displacement of the moving unit structure occurs only in the forward process. In this case, the displacement of the moving means may be corrected only in the forward process. Further, in the embodiment, the drilling is performed in both the forward process and the returning process of the slide cam, but the drilling may be performed only in one. Furthermore, in the embodiment, an example in which two holes are punched in the center of the sheet has been described, but the same applies to four holes and six holes.
