Description

The present invention relates to a suction grill mounting structure for a ceiling-embedded air conditioner having a decorative panel disposed on a ceiling.

In general, a ceiling-embedded air conditioner in which a suction grill is provided on a ceiling-mounted decorative panel and a filter is provided on the suction grill is known. This type has the advantage that the filter can be removed by removing the suction grille from the decorative panel, and the attachment / detachment work at the time of cleaning the filter becomes easy. However, in the ceiling-embedded air conditioner, since the decorative panel is arranged on the ceiling, the removal work of the suction grill is performed at a high place. For this reason, the removal work of the filter becomes complicated, and in practice, the filter is not often cleaned.

In order to solve this problem, it has been considered to arrange a lifting motor inside the decorative panel and to support the suction grill so as to be movable up and down with respect to the lower surface of the decorative panel. In this case, the suction grill can be lowered to a low place when the filter is replaced, so that the filter can be replaced at a low place.

In this suction grill lifting / lowering drive device, one end of a suspension string is fixed to four corners of the suction grille, and the other end of each suspension string is wound around a pulley. This pulley is connected to a shaft, and this shaft is connected to a lifting motor. When the suction grill is lowered, the pulley is rotated by the lifting motor to feed out the hanging string. When the suction grill is raised, the lifting string is rewound onto the pulley by the lifting motor.
JP-A-6-323565

However, in the conventional suction grill lifting / lowering drive device, the drive system is constituted by a lifting / lowering motor, a plurality of pulleys, shafts, gears, and other connecting mechanisms. That is, for example, four pulleys around which the suspension string is wound are provided, and the pulleys are connected by the shaft. The shaft and the lifting motor are connected by a connecting mechanism such as a gear, and the driving force of the lifting motor is transmitted to each pulley via the shaft. At this time, each pulley rotates in synchronization. As described above, the elevating drive device has many driving parts and has a complicated structure. For this reason, breakdowns are likely to occur and are expensive.

In addition, when used for a long time, the length of the hanging strap becomes unbalanced, and the suction grille remains inclined at the upper limit position of the suction grille, and a gap may be formed between the suction grille and the decorative panel. . Therefore, in order to prevent this problem, a function for adjusting the length of the suspension string at the upper limit of the suction grill is necessary, and therefore the lifting drive device becomes more expensive.

That is, the invention of claim 1 is a ceiling-embedded air provided with a grill elevating device configured such that a suction grill placed on a top surface of a filter and inserted into the decorative panel can be raised and lowered with respect to the decorative panel via a wire. In the conditioner, the suction grille 7 is provided with hanging strap passages at the four corners of the upper surface of the suction grille 7, and a lifting motor for winding the hanging strap is attached to the upper surface of the decorative panel. It is wound up by a motor, the other end is fixed to the decorative panel 6, and passes through two adjacent wire passing portions of the suction grill in the middle.

As described in detail above, according to the first aspect of the present invention, the hanging grille passages are provided at the four corners of the upper surface of the suction grille, and the lifting motor for winding the hanging strap is attached to the upper surface of the decorative panel. One end of the hanging strap is wound up by the elevating motor, the other end is fixed to the decorative panel 6, and passes through two adjacent wire passing portions of the suction grill in the middle. Therefore, an elevating drive device that can easily maintain the balance of the suction grille even when the hanging string is extended can be realized with a simple configuration, and an inexpensive ceiling-embedded air conditioner with few failures can be realized.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In FIG. 4, reference numeral 1 denotes an air conditioner, which is a sheet metal unit main body 3 housed in the ceiling interior 2, a decorative panel 6 provided on the ceiling surface 5 so as to close the ceiling hole 4, and the decorative panel 6. It is comprised by the suction grille 7 arrange | positioned. The decorative panel 6 has a suction port 8 in the center and blowout ports 9 on the four sides of the outer peripheral portion, and the suction grille 7 forms a suction port 10 in the center.

11 is a blower comprising a turbo fan 12 and a fan motor 14 attached to the top plate 13, 15 is a nozzle port for guiding indoor air from the intake port 10 to the turbo fan 12, and 16 is an inner rising portion 16a and an outer rising portion. A drain pan 17 having a portion 16 b and formed of foamed polystyrene in an angular ring shape is a plate fin type heat exchanger disposed in an annular shape so as to surround the fan on the discharge side of the turbo fan 12. 18 is a heat insulating material wound around the peripheral surface of the unit main body 3, 19 is a wind guide portion for guiding the air heat-exchanged by the heat exchanger 17 to the air outlet 9, and 20 is a ceiling for the unit main body 3 with a hanging tool. A suspension bolt 21 for hanging from the beam is a filter attached to the downstream side of the suction grill 7.

As shown in FIG. 1, a first support plate 22 extends in the opening of the unit main body 3, and a drive system (described later) is placed on the first support plate 22. As shown in FIG. 2, the first support 22 is fixed to the decorative panel 6. A second support body 23 extends in the opening of the unit main body 3 so as to face the first support body 22, and an electrical box 24 is disposed above the second support body 23. The electrical box 24 controls the air conditioner 1 and is fixed to the unit body 3. The first and second support plates 22 and 23 extend to the opening of the unit main body 3, but their presence does not hinder the air intake function, so that sufficient air can be taken in the remaining space. Is formed.

A drive system for raising and lowering the suction grille 7 includes a main pulley 25, a shaft 26, a raising and lowering motor 27, and the like. The main pulley 25 has a hole in the center, and a shaft 26 is inserted into the hole and fixed with a screw or the like. The shaft 26 is rotatably supported on the first support plate 22 via two bearings 28, and a gear 29 is fixed substantially at the center of the shaft portion of the shaft 26. A gear 30 is engaged with the gear 29, and the gear 30 is fixed to the output shaft of the lifting / lowering motor 27. Since the shaft 26 and the lifting motor 27 are connected via gears 29 and 30, when the lifting motor 27 is driven, the shaft 26 rotates and the main pulley 25 also rotates.

One end of a hanging string 31 is fixed to the main pulley 25, and the hanging string 31 is wound around the main pulley 25. The suspension string 31 is made of a resin wire or a metal wire with a vinyl coating on the outer periphery, but may be a dial cord. The main pulley 25 is disposed so that a part of the main pulley 25 is ahead of the tip of the first support plate 22, and the hanging strap 31 is hung from the tip of the first support plate 22 toward the suction grille 7. In addition, you may form the hole for the hanging strap 31 to hang down in the 1st support plate 22. FIG.

Reference numeral 32 denotes a fixing portion in which one end of the hanging strap 31 is fixed to the first support plate 22. Under this fixed part 32, the auxiliary pulley 33 mentioned later of the suction grill 7 is located.

A position detection sensor 34 is provided around the main pulley 25, and the position detection sensor 34 detects the position of the suction grille 7 based on the feeding length of the hanging strap 31. Specifically, the feeding length of the hanging strap 31 is detected by the number of turns (height) of the hanging strap 31 wound around the main pulley 25.

As shown in FIG. 1, the decorative panel 6 is provided with a pull switch (operation switch) 35 for moving the suction grille 7 up and down. The pull switch 35 drives the lifting motor 27. The operation switch is not limited to the pull switch 35. For example, a fixed switch such as a wall-mounted type may be used, and the fixed switch may be connected to the lifting motor 27 with a cable.

Two auxiliary pulleys 36 are placed on the second support plate 23. FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the auxiliary pulley 36. The auxiliary pulley 36 has a hole in the center, and a shaft 37 is inserted into the hole so that the auxiliary pulley 36 is loosely fitted to the shaft 37 so as to freely rotate. The shaft 37 is fixed to a bearing 38, and the bearing 38 is fixed to the second support plate 23. The auxiliary pulley 36 is rotatably supported by the second support plate 22. The auxiliary pulley 36 only needs to be wide enough for the single hanging strap 31 to hang, and is thinner than the main pulley 25.

An auxiliary hole 39 is formed in the vicinity of the auxiliary pulley 36 in the second support plate 23, and the auxiliary pulley 33 of the suction grill 7 is located under the auxiliary hole 39. The two auxiliary pulleys 36 are arranged in the same direction. The direction of the auxiliary pulley 36 in this embodiment is the direction of the arrow in FIG. 5 and is the direction perpendicular to the shaft 37 that supports the auxiliary pulley 36. Then, the suspension string 31 from the auxiliary pulley 33 of the suction grill 7 is hooked on the auxiliary pulley 36 through the auxiliary hole 39, and then is hooked on the other auxiliary pulley 36 and is lowered to the suction grill 7 side again.

Auxiliary pulleys 33 are disposed at the four corners of the suction grill 7. The auxiliary pulley 33 has the same configuration as the auxiliary pulley 36 fixed to the second support portion 23, and is rotatably disposed on the suction grill 7.

Each auxiliary pulley 33 is arranged such that the auxiliary pulley 33a and the auxiliary pulley 33b are on the same line, and the auxiliary pulley 33c and the auxiliary pulley 33d are arranged on the same line. When the suction grille 7 is disposed on the decorative panel 6, the main pulley 25 is positioned on the auxiliary pulley 33a, the auxiliary pulley 36a is positioned on the auxiliary pulley 33b, and the auxiliary pulley 36b is positioned on the auxiliary pulley 33c. The fixed part 32 is located on the auxiliary pulley 33d. The suspension strap 31 is hung in the order of the main pulley 25, the auxiliary pulley 33a, the auxiliary pulley 33b, the auxiliary pulley 36a, the auxiliary pulley 36b, the auxiliary pulley 33c, and the auxiliary pulley 33d, and is fixed by the fixing portion 32.

Next, the operation of this embodiment will be described. For example, when a pull-down bar is prepared and the pull switch 35 is pulled using the pull-down bar, the elevating motor 27 is rotated forward and backward to drive the drive system. That is, when the pull switch 35 is first pulled, the elevating motor 27 rotates in the forward direction and the hanging string 31 is fed out from the main pulley 25. Then, the suspension string is loosened via the auxiliary pulleys 33 and 36, and the suction grille 7 gradually starts to descend substantially horizontally. Next, when the pull switch 35 is operated, the elevating motor 27 is stopped and the lifting of the hanging strap 31 is stopped, so that the substantially horizontal lowering of the suction grille 7 is stopped. When the pull switch 35 is further operated, the elevating motor 27 is reversed in reverse, the suspension string 31 is wound around the main pulley 25, and the suction grille 7 is turned up almost horizontally. When the pull switch 35 is further operated, the elevating motor 27 is stopped, and the suction grille 7 stops being raised substantially horizontally at that position. If the hanging strap 31 is wound up without operating the pull switch 35 at this time, the position detection sensor 34 detects that the suction grille 7 has reached the upper limit and is in contact with the decorative panel 6 without any gap, and the lifting motor 27 Stop.

In the present invention, since the suction grille 7 is moved up and down by the single suspension string 31, even if the suspension string 31 is extended, the suction grille 7 can be moved up and down while maintaining equilibrium. Therefore, the suction grill 7 can always be brought into contact with the decorative panel 6 without a gap.

In this embodiment, the auxiliary pulleys 33 and 36 are used. However, any one that can support the suspension string 31 so as to be insertable may be used, and a rope guide or the like may be used.
