Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate the loads on both of a pet animal and a caretaker in replacing a diaper for the bedridden pet animal(primarily a dog). <P>SOLUTION: On a belt of a stretchable material wrapped previously around the barrel of the pet animal, a diaper body made of an absorptive element of a stretchable material with its front end divisible through perforations and with its rear end divided in two through a longitudinal slit is fixed with adhesive tapes. For the diaper body, both sides of the absorptive material to the side of the pet animal's tail are made high in a chevron-shaped manner, and by folding back the front end of a waterproof material, urine's side leakage and front leakage and dung's side leakage can be prevented. Description

  The present invention is an improvement of pet paper diapers for reducing the burden on bedridden pets (mainly dogs) and their caregivers.

  Pet paper diapers are mainly used by passing the tail through a hole and fastening the sides with adhesive tape.

  Changing diapers for bedridden pets (mainly dogs) must lift the pet's torso each time, so some pets dislike and feel painful. In addition, the change in the balance between the left and right sides of the body due to recumbency makes it difficult to wear properly, creating a gap between the body and the diaper, and urine and feces often leak sideways. When a large amount of urine is discharged at once, such as incontinence, there is also a leak from the front end of the diaper. In addition, conventional pet paper diapers use the tail through the hole, but because the hole is small, it is difficult to pass the tail against the fur of the pet when putting it on, and when removing it, the tail is soiled with feces attached to the hole periphery is there.
