Abstract

Description
(a)ベッセル内に溶融鉄及びスラグの浴を形成する段階と、
(b)(i)金属含有供給材料、通常は金属酸化物と、
(ii)金属酸化物の還元剤、及びエネルギー源として作用する固体炭素質材料、通常は石炭を前記浴へ注入する段階と、
(c)金属含有供給材料を金属層内で金属に製錬する段階とを含んでいる。
固体粒子状材料の通過する中央コア管と、
中央コア管をその長さの実質的な部分にわたって囲み、かつ冷却水が流れるための内部水流通路を備える環状冷却ジャケットと、
ランスの前端から後方に間隔を置いた位置で、環状冷却ジャケットの周りに配置され、かつ冷却水が流れるための内部水流通路を備える外部環状部分とを含む冶金用ランスが提供される。
Claims (14)
- ベッセル内に保持された溶融材料に固体粒子状材料を注入するために、ベッセル内に延在する冶金用ランスにおいて、
前記固体粒子状材料の通過する中央コア管と、
前記中央コア管をその長さの実質的な部分にわたって囲み、かつ冷却水が流れるための内部水流通路を備える環状冷却ジャケットと、
前記ランスの前端から後方に間隔をおいた位置で、前記環状冷却ジャケットの周りに配置され、かつ冷却水が流れるための内部水流通路を備える外部環状部分とを含む冶金用ランス。 - 前記外部環状部分が円筒形である請求項1に記載された冶金用ランス。
- 前記円筒形外部環状部分が、前記冷却ジャケットの外径の少なくとも1.5倍の外径を有する請求項2に記載された冶金用ランス。
- 前記円筒形外部環状部分の外径が、前記冷却ジャケットの外径の約2倍である請求項3に記載された冶金用ランス。
- 前記外部環状部分が、二重壁を有し、該二重壁の間に前記水流通路が形成されている請求項1から請求項4までのいずれか1項に記載された冶金用ランス。
- 前記環状部分の前記二重壁の間の環状空間が仕切られて、前記水流通路が形成されている請求項5に記載された冶金用ランス。
- 前記外部環状部分の前記二重壁の間の前記空間が、長手方向に延びる隔壁によって仕切られて、水流通路を通って水が順次流れるように互いに連結された、長手方向に延び円周方向に間隔をおいて配置された水流通路に、前記空間が分割される請求項6に記載された冶金用ランス。
- 前記外部環状部分が、前記外部環状部分と前記冷却ジャケットとの間に環状空隙を形成するように、前記環状冷却ジャケットから前端部連結器及び後端部連結器によって半径方向外向きに間隔をおいて配置される請求項1から請求項7までのいずれか1項に記載された冶金用ランス。
- 前記外部環状部分の前端が、前記ランスの中心長手方向軸線に対して鋭角で傾斜している請求項1から請求項8までのいずれか1項に記載された冶金用ランス。
- 前記環状部分の前端が、耐火材料で被覆されている請求項1から請求項9までのいずれか1項に記載された冶金用ランス。
- 前記耐火材料が、前記環状部分の前記前端に取り付けられた予備成形環状ディスクになっている請求項10に記載された冶金用ランス。
- ランスが、伸張形状、かつ前記外部環状部分の内部で自己支持形であり、それにより、前記外部環状部分を固定支持して所望の方向に取り付けることによって、前記ランスが所望の方向に支持されるようになっている請求項1から請求項11までのいずれか1項に記載された冶金用ランス。
- 長さが5mより長い請求項1から請求項12までのいずれか1項に記載された冶金用ランス。
- 冷却ジャケットの外半径が100〜150mmの範囲にある請求項1から請求項13までのいずれか1項に記載された冶金用ランス。
