Abstract
【解決手段】 物理層自動リピート要求を実装する基地局は、送信機(38)および受信機(52)を含む。送信機は、データを受信し、受信したデータをパケットにフォーマットし、パケットを送信し、所与のパケットの対応する確認応答を受信できなかったことに応答してパケットを再送するための物理層送信機と、対応する確認応答を受信するための確認応答受信機(56)と、再送統計を収集し、収集した統計を用いて特定のデータ符号化/変調を調節するための適応型変調・符号化コントローラとを有している。受信機(52)は、パケット復調するための物理層受信機と、バッファリング、復号化およびパケット誤りの検出を行うための合成器/復号器(50−1〜50−n)と、各パケットについて、そのパケットが許容可能な誤り率を有する場合、確認応答を生成するための確認応答生成器とを有している。

Claims (6)
- 送信機および受信機を含む、物理層自動リピート要求を実装する基地局であって、該基地局は、
データを受信し、受信したデータを、各パケットが特定の符号化/データ変調を有するパケットにフォーマットし、前記パケットを送信し、所与のパケットに対応する確認応答を受信できなかったことに応答してパケットを再送するための物理層送信機と、
前記対応する確認応答を受信する確認応答受信機と、
再送統計を収集し、収集した統計を用いて前記特定のデータ符号化/変調を調節する適応型変調・符号化コントローラと、
受信したパケットを復調する物理層受信機と、
バッファリング、復号化およびパケット誤りの検出を行う合成器/復号器と、
各パケットについて、該パケットが許容可能な誤り率を有する場合、確認応答を生成するための確認応答生成器と
を備えたことを特徴とする基地局。 - 前記特定の符号化/データ変調は、前方誤り訂正(FEC)であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の基地局。
- 前記パケットは、直交周波数分割多元接続(OFDMA)エアインタフェースを用いて送信され、前記FEC符号化/データ変調の調節は、OFDMAセット内のサブチャネルを選択的に無効化することに加えて実行されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の基地局。
- 前記パケットは、シングルキャリア周波数領域等化(SC−FDE)エアインタフェースを用いて送信されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の基地局。
- 前記基地局は、符号分割多元接続(CDMA)エアインタフェースを使用し、前記確認応答は、高速フィードバックチャネルで送信されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の基地局。
- パケットが許容不能な誤り率を有する場合、前記確認応答生成器は、否定応答を送信することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の基地局。
