Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for collecting a piece of meat of an animal as a sample at the same time that the ear tag is attached to an animal such as livestock.
2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, animal meat pieces (including blood adhering to meat pieces; the same applies hereinafter) collected for testing such as DNA testing are performed when an ear tag for identifying an individual animal is attached to the animal.
That is, when fitting the male member of the ear tag to the female member, the meat piece of the animal attached to the tip terminal that separates the ear shell penetrating body head that passes through the ear shell of the animal of the male member is secured for the sample. .
Specifically, when the earpiece of the animal is passed through the earshell, the earpiece penetrates the earshell of the male member that penetrates the earshell of the animal and attaches to the female member so that it cannot be reversed. A piece of meat adhering to the terminal is accommodated in a container set on the female member, and the separated tip terminal is fitted into the opening of the container to form a lid of the container.
As shown in FIG. 10 / FIG. 11 (the male member / female member of the ear tag and the container see through the inside), the ear tag has a head A12 and a tip terminal A13 on a disk-shaped main body. A male member A1 provided with a penetrating body A11, a female member A2 provided with an engaging portion A21 into which a head A12 of the male member A1 is engaged and a mouth A31 of the container A3 is fitted, and a male member The tip terminal A13 of A1 is composed of a container A3 serving as an opening lid. Further, the container A3 is fitted and fixed to the opening of the engaging portion A21 of the female member A2 when the ear tag is attached.
Then, the female member A2 in which the male member A1 and the container A3 are set is set on the ear tag wearing tool (applicator), and the tip terminal A13 of the male member A1 penetrates the ear shell by the operation of the ear tag wearing tool. At this time, a piece of meat is attached to the attachment portion A14 of the tip terminal A13, and the head A12 of the male member A1 engages with the engagement portion A21 of the female member A2. Thereafter, the tip terminal A13 of the male member A1 is separated from the head A12 and fitted into the opening of the container A3. That is, the tip terminal A13 serves as a lid for the opening of the container A3, and the attachment portion A14 to which the meat pieces are attached is located in the storage chamber A32 of the container A3.
However, if the outer diameter size of the mouth portion where the opening of the container is formed is not equal to the diameter of the engaging portion of the female member to which the ear shell penetrating body of the male member is engaged, the mouth portion of the container is set to the female member. Because it is not possible, a dedicated container is prepared for the ear tag. That is, the identification container conventionally used for DNA identification cannot be set on the female member of the ear tag.
For this reason, when performing DNA identification, it was necessary to transfer the meat pieces of the sample from the meat collection container set in the ear tag to the identification container used in DNA identification.
Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a meat piece collecting method that can be performed using a container having the same size as that of a container used for DNA identification. .
The gist of the present invention is a method of collecting a piece of meat of an animal at the same time when an ear tag comprising a male member and a female member is mounted on the animal, and the ear tag is mounted on the animal by the ear tag mounting tool. At the time, the animal meat piece is cut with the separable tip terminal of the male shell ear shell penetrating body, and the ear shell penetrating body is engaged with the engaging portion of the female member after the head formed on the ear shell penetrating body is engaged. This is a method of collecting animal meat pieces, characterized in that the tip terminal is separated from the container, and the separated tip terminal is housed in a container set in an arbitrary part of the ear tag wearing tool.
The meat piece collecting method of the present invention will be described in detail. An ear tag composed of a male member and a female member is a mark attached to an animal ear shell in order to identify an individual animal such as livestock. The male member of the ear tag is provided with an ear shell penetrator capable of penetrating the animal's ear shell in at least a flat body, and the head of the ear shell penetrator can be engaged with the female member in a non-reversible manner. When the tip terminal of the head penetrates the animal's ear shell, the flesh of the ear shell can be attached. Further, the tip terminal to which the meat piece is attached can be separated.
As a specific form of the male member, a shaft-like ear shell penetrating body is erected on the main body plate, and there is a tapered head in which a return portion wider than the shaft diameter is formed at the tip of the ear shell penetrating body. . In addition, there is a tip terminal that can be separated at the tip of the head, the tip of the tip terminal has a recess so that a piece of meat can be attached, and the edge of the tip terminal is sharp. The main body plate, the ear shell penetrating body, and the head are integrally molded, and the inside thereof is hollow.
The female member of the ear tag is provided with an engaging portion that can engage at least a flat main body with the head of the ear shell penetrating body of the male member so that it cannot be reversed.
A specific form of the female member is such that the head of the male member on which at least the return portion is formed is allowed to pass through, and the head is formed on the body plate in which a through hole narrower than the return portion of the head is formed. And an engagement portion formed with a through hole through which the tip terminal of the head can pass. Further, the main body plate and the engaging portion are integrally molded. And you may provide the flexible flat bill part following a main body plate.
Furthermore, the engaging portion may be a tamper-proof structure. That is, when the ear part (male member / female member) falls off due to some force after the ear mark is attached and the ear mark (male member / female member) falls off, the head of the leg part of the male member is within the engaging part of the female member. The structure is designed to remain.
At least the female member is provided with an arbitrary identification display for identifying an individual animal such as livestock.
In the form of identification display, letters / numbers / symbols / bar codes are printed on a flexible plate connected or integrally provided below the female body or the female member engaging with the male member. Is displayed. In addition, a transponder including at least a coil and an IC capable of reading or reading / writing individual information by wireless communication is disposed. Further, display by printing and electronic display are used in combination. The identification display is provided on a flat bill portion that follows the main body of the female member or the main body plate.
A device for attaching the above-mentioned ear tag to an animal ear shell is an ear tag mounting tool called an applicator or forceps.
The ear tag mounting tool used in the present invention is a setting means that can set an arbitrary container for accommodating a tip terminal to which an ear tag can be attached to an animal ear shell and to which an animal flesh separated from an ear shell penetrating body is attached. Is provided. This ear tag mounting tool may be newly manufactured according to the present method, or a conventional forceps may be arbitrarily modified and used. Moreover, you may comprise the setting means of the container for accommodating the tip terminal to which the meat piece adhered to the ear tag mounting tool so that attachment or detachment with the ear tag mounting tool is possible.
The structure of the setting means provided in the ear tag wearing tool is not particularly limited. Specifically, a structure in which the mouth of the container can be fitted and set to a predetermined part of the ear tag wearing tool, and a flange formed on the mouth of the container is fitted into a groove formed in the predetermined part of the ear tag wearing tool. A structure that can be slide-set, and a structure that can be screwed and set to a screw portion that is formed at a predetermined portion of the ear tag wearing tool may be used. Thus, at least a container that can be used for DNA analysis can be set. Of course, you may enable it to set the container used for uses other than DNA identification. The container may also have a desired shape. And you may provide a retrograde prevention valve in mouth opening of the above-mentioned container.
And it is desirable to display the same animal identification display as the arbitrary animal identification display displayed on an ear mark on a container. That is, it is a character / number / symbol / bar code for display by printing, or a transponder for electronic display. Furthermore, display by printing and electronic display may be used in combination.
Since the animal meat piece collecting method of the present invention is as described above, the blood adhering to the animal meat piece or the meat piece required for DNA analysis in the work that is always carried out, such as attaching the ear tag to the animal. Can be collected. Moreover, since the container which accommodates a piece of meat can also use the container used in the case of DNA examination as it is, it can carry out by one container from conveyance of a piece of meat to storage and examination.
In addition, since the container used has the same display as the individual identification displayed on the ear tag attached to the animal, it is necessary to obtain the individual identification of the sampled animal in order to manage the collected meat pieces. In addition, it is possible to construct an inspection system that is efficient and excellent in reliability.
Therefore, the animal meat piece collecting method according to the present invention is a meat piece collecting method that is very welcomed in today's production sites where food safety is a concern.

Then, when the head portion 11 enters the engaging portion 21, the opening portion returns to the original state, and the male member 1 is fitted to the female member 2. Further, the tip terminal 13 is forcibly pushed out of the head 11 by the pusher rod 41 protruding by the closing operation of the applicator and separated, and falls into the storage chamber 32 of the container 3 set in the applicator. Then, the container 3 is removed from the applicator and the lid 33 is fitted into the opening of the container 3 so that the piece of meat attached to the attaching portion 14 at the tip of the tip terminal 13 is accommodated in the accommodating chamber 32.
Moreover, in this example, since the inside of the container is closed with a lid provided in the container by accommodating the entire tip terminal to which the meat piece adheres, the outer diameter can be set to a desired diameter together with the inner diameter of the container.
FIG. 7 is a perspective view showing an example of an ear tag. The ear tag in this figure displays an individual identification number 34 for identifying an individual animal on the female member 2 and the container 3, and the container 3 displays the individual identification number 34. A bar code 35 representing the individual identification number 34 is displayed. Further, the container 3 is formed with a threaded portion 36, and the container 3 is set by screwing the threaded portion 36 into a threaded portion formed on the applicator.
The collected meat piece can be directly identified by the animal collected by the individual identification number 34 displayed on the container 3 and the bar code 35 representing it. This method can also be carried out with an automatic recognition sign other than a barcode such as a two-dimensional barcode.
FIG. 8 is a perspective view showing an example of the female member of the ear tag.
A bill portion 23 is formed following the female member 2, and an electronic tag in which an IC 24 for recording individual animal information and a coil 25 serving as an antenna are embedded in the bill portion 23.
In this electronic tag, the individual information of the animal recorded in the IC 24 is, for example, read-only 64-bit information including the ID number (decimal / decimal) of the animal. Is transmitted to a type reader, a stationary type reader, and the like by wireless communication. The information code system conforms to the animal electronic identification standard ISO 11784 (1996), and the communication system conforms to the animal electronic identification standard ISO 11785 (1996).
FIG. 9 is a diagram showing an ear tag having a tamper-proof structure in a female member, and the ear tag (male member / female member) and the container in the figure are transparent. Reference numeral 26 denotes a tamper-proof portion. That is, even if the ear shell penetrating body 11 of the male member 1 is cut by some force by the tamper-proof portion and the ear tag is dropped from the animal, the head 12 of the ear shell penetrating body 11 of the male member 1 is female. Since it remains in the engaging portion 21 of the member 2, it is possible to prevent reuse of the dropped female member 2. Thereby, the reliability of individual identification is maintained.
