The water-dissolving wiping sheet of the present invention is excellent in strength in a wet state and has a property of easily disintegrating with a large amount of water, and therefore can be drained as sewage in a water-dissolved state.

Hereinafter, the water-decomposable wiping sheet of the present invention will be described in detail.
The water-decomposable wiping sheet of the present invention comprises a wiping layer for wiping dirt in a wet state, and a support layer excellent in liquid retention and cushioning properties laminated adjacent to the wiping layer. It has a sheet body that is disintegrated and can be drained as sewage as it is when the whole is brought into contact with a large amount of water.

There is no restriction | limiting in particular in the thickness of the whole sheet | seat for water-decomposable wiping of this invention, or each layer, According to the intended purpose, it can set arbitrarily. Moreover, there is no restriction | limiting in particular also about the whole sheet | seat for water-degradable wiping, and the rigidity of each layer, According to the intended purpose, it can each set arbitrarily.

The wiping layer in the water-decomposable wiping sheet of the present invention has a sufficient tensile strength in the wet state during the wiping operation so that the operation for wiping off dirt in the wet state can be performed without hindrance. It is necessary to have a water disintegrating property that can be disintegrated and discharged as sewage as it is when it comes into contact with a large amount of water.

As a sheet material used for a wiping layer for wiping off dirt in such a wet state, a nonwoven fabric sheet having a high tensile strength in a wet state required during the wiping operation and exhibiting excellent disintegration in water is used. preferable. The material for forming such a nonwoven fabric is not particularly limited, and is usually used as a nonwoven fabric-forming material, for example, rayon, pulp, hemp, cotton, synthetic fibers such as polyester, acrylic, polypropylene, polyvinyl alcohol, etc. Is mentioned. Moreover, the manufacturing method does not ask | require a wet method and a dry method, Furthermore, functional powders, such as binders, such as polyvinyl alcohol, and a deodorizing material, may be apply | coated or added as needed. However, a spunbond nonwoven fabric formed by hydroentangling long fibers is particularly preferable because it has a high tensile strength in a wet state and exhibits good disintegration in water.

The wiping layer in the water-decomposable wiping sheet of the present invention may be laminated only on one side of the support layer, or may be formed on both sides. When forming a wiping layer on both surfaces of a support body layer, various chemical | medical agents, such as an antibacterial agent and an aromatic agent, can be contained in the range permitted to a wiping layer in one or both. In addition, in order to make it possible to identify a layer containing such various drugs, one or both of the wiping layers can be a layer colored with a colorant.

The support layer in the water-decomposable wiping sheet of the present invention has a sufficient liquid retaining property so that the work for wiping off dirt in a wet state can be performed without hindrance, and a cushion for improving the wiping workability. It is preferable that it is equipped with the property. Moreover, it is necessary to have a water disintegrating property that can be easily disintegrated and drained as sewage as it is when brought into contact with a large amount of water. Examples of the nonwoven fabric used in such a support layer include, for example, a nonwoven fabric formed using synthetic fibers such as rayon, pulp, hemp, cotton, polyester, acrylic, polypropylene, polyvinyl alcohol, and the like. Airlaid nonwoven fabrics are particularly preferred because they are particularly excellent in cushioning properties and water decomposability.

For the airlaid nonwoven fabric, it is preferable to use a heat-fusing binder that has, for example, a fibrous or powdery shape, is softened by heating, and exhibits an adhesive function. Here, the fibrous binder refers to a composite fiber type such as a core-sheath type or a side-by-side type, or a binder of a single type fiber. The content of the binder used in the air-laid nonwoven fabric as the support is 0.5 to 40 mass%, preferably 1 to 20 mass%, more preferably 3 to 10 mass%, based on the total weight of the nonwoven fabric containing the binder. %. When the content of the binder is less than 1% by mass, sufficient sheet strength cannot be obtained. On the other hand, when the content exceeds 40% by mass, the water decomposing performance may be deteriorated (not hydrolyzed).
The air-laid nonwoven fabric can be adjusted in rigidity from puff to plate as necessary. Furthermore, it is also possible to apply a liquid binder such as polyvinyl alcohol or a functional powder such as a deodorant to the airlaid nonwoven fabric.

Comparative Example 3
In Example 1, the spunlace nonwoven fabric used as the wiping layer was evaluated. Table 1 shows the measurement data for the examples and comparative examples.

Figure 2006000565
Figure 2006000565

From the data of Comparative Example 1 in Table 1, when a sheet with low strength when wet is used for the wiping layer, the surface is torn due to friction during wiping. It turns out that the nature is inferior.
Comparative Example 2 was found to be inappropriate when the wiping layer had no volume, as the wet strength of the sheet itself increased significantly, and the water solubility decreased significantly. When priority is given, it indicates that the wiping property is lowered.
On the other hand, it can be seen that the nonwoven fabric of the present invention is useful for the contradictory properties of water disintegration and wiping because it has high wiping property while maintaining high water disintegrating property, and thus has excellent wiping property.
