Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a splicing device and a splicing method for a flexible sheet body such as paper, plastic film, metal foil and the like.
In a sheet transport apparatus that transports and feeds a sheet wound in a roll, the sheet is continuously connected by joining the end of the sheet in use and the start of the unused sheet. A splicing device that can be conveyed is used.
。 This splicing device has been devised in various ways to enable the sheet body to travel without being interrupted during the sheet splicing, so-called splicing work (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
Further, in the conventional splicing device, the end of the sheet provided in the sheet supply line is detected, and when the end is detected, the used sheet and the unused sheet being conveyed are detected. Some join the body.
However, in such a splicing device, the sheet member in use travels at the line conveyance speed. Therefore, when trying to join an unused sheet body that is stationary to the traveling sheet body, the joint location may be kinked, resulting in poor bonding. In order to eliminate the above-mentioned joining failure, there is a method of stopping the conveyance of the line. However, if the line is stopped for each splicing operation, the production efficiency is lowered.
In addition, since the splicing device that detects the end of the sheet body performs the splicing work with a certain margin, the part where the sheet body overlaps from the joining point to the end is long, and the sheet body is efficiently Cannot be used.
In addition, since the sheet body is used to the end, poor bonding may occur due to wrinkles at the end of the sheet body.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and its purpose is to improve the production efficiency by allowing the sheet bodies to be joined without interrupting the running of the sheet bodies. Another object of the present invention is to provide a splicing device and a splicing method capable of reliably joining sheet bodies.
The splicing device according to the present invention includes a first winding portion in which the first sheet body is wound in a roll shape, a second winding portion in which the second sheet body is wound in a roll shape, Each of the first and second winding parts is provided at a predetermined distance from the rotation shaft, and the remaining first and second sheet bodies wound around the first and second winding parts are provided. A remaining amount detecting unit for detecting the amount, a first cutter for cutting the first sheet body, and a supply line for the second sheet body provided in the supply line for the first sheet body. A cutting section having a second cutter for cutting the second sheet body, and the first sheet body provided on the downstream side in the vicinity of the cutting section and supplied from the first winding section; A splice part for joining the second sheet body supplied from the second winding part, and downstream of the splice part Provided, and a storage section for storing the one of the sheet member during use. And when the remaining amount detection unit detects that the remaining amount of the sheet wound around the winding unit in use has become a predetermined amount or less, the driving of the winding unit in use is stopped, The cutting section cuts the sheet body in use, and the splice section joins the cut sheet body to a sheet body wound around a spare winding section that is stopped driving. When the winding part and the second winding part stop driving, the sheet body accumulated in the accumulating part is supplied downstream.
Further, the accumulating unit includes a fixed roller and a movable roller that is close to and away from the fixed roller, and any one of the sheet bodies in use alternately overlaps the fixed roller and the movable roller. You may be made to do.
The splicing method according to the present invention selectively supplies the first sheet body wound around the first winding portion and the second sheet body wound around the second winding portion downstream. The step of detecting, the step of detecting whether the remaining amount of the sheet body wound around the winding section in use has become a predetermined amount or less, and the remaining amount of the sheet body in use has become a predetermined amount or less. A step of stopping the driving of the winding part in use, a step of cutting the sheet body in use after the driving of the winding part in use is stopped, and the cut sheet body The step of joining the sheet wound around the spare winding part whose driving is stopped, and when the first winding part and the second winding part are stopped driving, the storage part And supplying the sheet body accumulated in the downstream. Note that the step of joining the first sheet body and the second sheet body may be performed substantially simultaneously with the step of cutting the sheet body in use.
According to the present invention, since the cutting portion and the splice portion are disposed at close positions, the distance from the joining portion of the sheet body to the terminal portion of the used sheet body can be minimized, It is possible to reduce the number of duplicated sheet bodies and reduce the number of defective products.
In addition, since the accumulating section is provided, the sheet body is cut out by the cutting section upstream of the accumulating section, which is a splicing operation, and the two sheet bodies are joined by the splice section, and then sent out from the winding section. Even if the traveling of the sheet body is stopped, the sheet body accumulated in the accumulation unit is fed to the production line on the downstream side of the accumulation unit. Therefore, the time loss required for the splicing operation can be eliminated, and the traveling of the sheet member is stopped on the upstream side of the accumulation unit where the splicing operation is performed, so that the joining failure can be eliminated.
Hereinafter, a splicing device to which the present invention is applied will be described with reference to the drawings.
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The first and
The 1st and 2nd winding
The remaining

The
The
The
The

A splicing method that enables the first and
During normal operation, the
Next, when the remaining amount of the
Next, the first joining
Next, when the splicing to the
As described above, when splicing the
Moreover, since the
Further, even when the traveling of the
As described above, the splicing operation is described as splicing the
In addition, as described above, the
