該内視鏡の先端部分に設けられる湾曲操作される湾曲部と、
該湾曲部から夫々延出し、前記湾曲部を少なくとも2つの方向に湾曲操作する一対の操作ワイヤと、
該一対の操作ワイヤが巻回されるプーリユニットと、
前記プーリユニットを回動自在に支軸する軸部材と
が設けられている内視鏡装置であって、
前記プーリユニットの回転軸に略直交する平面内において、前記回転軸から外周側に向けて、前記プーリユニットの外周面部から突起する第1の突部と、
前記プーリユニットの前記外周から離間した位置に設けられ、前記第1の突部が当接する第2の突部と、を有していることを特徴とする内視鏡装置。
