Description

The present invention relates to a packaging container mainly used for packaging fresh foods such as seafood and fruits and vegetables, and particularly to a container that requires excellent water resistance at the bottom of the container.

Conventionally, when packaging fresh food such as seafood, fruits and vegetables, etc., especially when the contents contain a large amount of moisture, a large amount of condensed water is generated during cold transport, and the contents are water. In the case of packaging what is to be packaged together, a molded container made of expanded polystyrene, which has no concern about water leakage and has no problem with moisture resistance and water resistance, has been used in many cases.
In some cases, a water-resistant cardboard box as described in Patent Documents 1 and 2 is used.
JP 2000-141518 A JP 2001-246678 A

However, since the foamed polystyrene foamed container cannot be folded like a cardboard box, there is a problem in that the transportation efficiency is low and a large storage space is required. In addition, when the container is disposed of after use, it cannot be incinerated, resulting in a problem that the cost is increased as a whole.

The above-mentioned problem does not exist in some of the water-resistant corrugated boxes used in some cases, but for example, in the A type box (JIS Z1507 code number 0201) which is an ordinary corrugated cardboard box, Since leakage occurs, it is necessary to manufacture a packaging box in which the bottom and side surfaces of a container are configured in a so-called furoshiki shape from a single sheet without making a flap or a seam on the bottom surface.
However, the corrugated box having such a shape increases the use area of the corrugated cardboard sheet, resulting in an increase in cost and a very heavy weight. There is also a problem that the assembly of the box becomes complicated.

The present invention adopts the following method in order to solve the above problems.
That is, the present invention relates to a packaging container composed of a corrugated cardboard sheet and expanded polystyrene, the top and side surfaces of the packaging container are composed of corrugated sheet, the bottom surface of the container is composed of the expanded polystyrene molded body, and the expanded polystyrene molded body is formed on the side surface of the container. And a corrugated cardboard sheet.

A second aspect of the present invention is a tray-shaped molded body in which the expanded polystyrene molded body has a rectangular bottom surface and side walls, and the height of the side walls is 5 mm or more higher on the outer side surface than the inner side surface. It is a packaging container according to the first aspect of the present invention.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, the corrugated cardboard sheet has a through-hole, the foamed polystyrene molded article has a protrusion at the joint between the corrugated cardboard sheet and the expanded polystyrene molded body, and the through-hole and the protruding part are combined for bonding. The packaging container according to any one of 1 to 2 of the present invention.

According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, there is provided the tape according to any one of the first to third aspects, wherein a tape is adhered to the boundary portion between the corrugated cardboard sheet of the packaging container and the expanded polystyrene molded body from the outer side surface of the container. It is a packaging container.

A fifth aspect of the present invention is the packaging container according to any one of the first to fourth aspects of the present invention, wherein the corrugated cardboard sheet is either a water-resistant corrugated cardboard sheet or a moisture-proof corrugated cardboard sheet.

According to the present invention, it is possible to obtain a packaging container suitable for packaging of foldable perishable food products and the like that prevents water leakage from the bottom, has excellent water resistance, and has low transport efficiency and storage space. It was.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described based on examples.
The packaging container of the present invention is configured by combining a corrugated cardboard sheet and an expanded polystyrene molded body, and has a top surface and side surfaces composed of a corrugated cardboard sheet, and a bottom portion composed of a tray-shaped expanded polystyrene molded body having a rectangular bottom surface and side walls. (See FIG. 1).
The corrugated cardboard member constituting the top surface and the side surface is obtained by removing the bottom flap from the normal A-type box, and has an outer flap and an inner flap constituting the four side surfaces and the top surface (not shown). However, any shape can be used as long as it can be joined to the expanded polystyrene molded body constituting the bottom.

In addition, as a method of joining the corrugated cardboard member and the molded body, a method is provided in which a groove portion corresponding to the thickness of the corrugated cardboard sheet is provided in the side wall portion of the expanded polystyrene molded article, and the corrugated cardboard sheet member is fitted and adhered (FIG. 2). There is a method (FIG. 3) in which a through hole is provided, a protrusion is provided on the side wall of the expanded polystyrene molded body, and the protrusion is fitted into the through hole. In this case, it is also possible to provide a slit or ruled line in advance near the through hole of the corrugated cardboard sheet so as to easily fit the protrusion into the through hole (FIG. 4). Also in this case, an adhesive may be used in combination.

The expanded polystyrene molded body constitutes the bottom part and the lower part of the side surface of the packaging container of the present invention. The lower part of the side surface is formed by a foamed polystyrene molding. Specifically, the lower side surface preferably has a height of 1/5 to 3/5 as compared to the height of the entire packaging container from the bottom of the container. When the molded body having such a height is used, the volume of the expanded polystyrene molded body to be used is reduced to 1/5 to 3/5 as compared with the case where the entire box is made of expanded polystyrene. Corrugated cardboard members constituting the side and top surfaces can be folded and stored in the same manner as ordinary cardboard boxes. Therefore, the packaging container can be stored very compactly compared with the expanded polystyrene molded container, the transportation efficiency is improved, and the necessary storage space can be saved.
In addition, when the height of the molded body is less than 1/5 of the total height of the packaging container, the moisture and dew condensation water generated from the contents may be higher than the water level of the wall surface of the polystyrene molded body. In some cases, the water resistance effect using a polystyrene molded body on the bottom surface cannot be obtained. On the other hand, when the ratio exceeds 3/5, the size of the molded body becomes large, and it is difficult to obtain the effect of good transport efficiency and storage efficiency of the present invention.

In the present invention, a general corrugated cardboard sheet may be used as the corrugated cardboard member, but a corrugated cardboard sheet having a water vapor barrier property, that is, a so-called moisture-proof corrugated cardboard sheet can be used as necessary. By using the moisture-proof corrugated cardboard sheet, it is possible to keep the humidity in the packaging container at 90 to 100%, which is effective for maintaining the freshness of fruits and vegetables.
Also, if there is a lot of moisture in the packaging container, due to vibration during transportation, etc., the moisture inside the container will become water droplets etc., and the corrugated sheet part that is higher than the side wall of the tray-like foamed polystyrene molded body constituting the bottom The container strength may decrease due to scattering. In such a case, it is possible to prevent a decrease in strength by using a so-called water-resistant corrugated cardboard sheet obtained by using a corrugated cardboard having water resistance and a water-resistant bonding adhesive as a corrugated cardboard member. .
In addition, as the moisture-proof corrugated cardboard sheet and the water-resistant corrugated cardboard sheet that can be used in the present invention, products manufactured and sold as a moisture-proof corrugated cardboard sheet and a water-resistant corrugated cardboard sheet can be arbitrarily selected as necessary.
As the moisture-proof corrugated cardboard sheet, a corrugated cardboard sheet provided with a moisture-proof layer by any method can be suitably used. Among these, those provided with a moisture-proof layer comprising a synthetic resin emulsion such as styrene-butadiene latex and a flat pigment such as a phyllosilicate compound are preferably used from the viewpoint of moisture resistance and recyclability.
In addition, as the water-resistant corrugated cardboard sheet, a water-proofing agent is added to the pulp raw material to make paper, or a water-resistant liner or water-resistant core base paper obtained by applying or impregnating the cardboard base paper is bonded, From the viewpoint of recyclability, it is preferable to provide a water-resistant layer composed of a synthetic resin emulsion such as styrene-butadiene latex and a pigment.

In addition, there is a case where water in the packaging container may be leaked by entering the joint portion between the foamed polystyrene molded body and the corrugated cardboard sheet.
In that case, by setting the difference between the height of the inner side surface of the side wall and the height of the side surface in the shape of the side wall of the tray-like expanded polystyrene molded body, the outer side surface is designed to be 5 mm or more higher than the inner side surface, This is desirable because the water that has entered the joints does not leak to the outside and returns to the inside.
In order to prevent water leakage from the joint portion and to increase the joint strength between the two members, it is more desirable to bond the boundary portion between the corrugated cardboard sheet and the molded body from the outside of the side surface of the container. . As the tape, an adhesive tape made of a synthetic resin film material, an adhesive tape made of a paper material subjected to water resistance treatment, or the like is desirable, and can be arbitrarily used depending on the situation.
