【課題】異なる画像の手間がかかりかつ細部が不正確である視覚的相互比較を不要にする。
【解決手段】磁気共鳴画像の評価方法、特に危機的な脳組織の識別および区画のための磁気共鳴画像の評価方法において、同一の身体部位の潅流強調磁気共鳴画像と潅流強調磁気共鳴画像とを重ねてミスマッチ画像を形成する。

Description
本発明は、磁気共鳴画像の評価方法、特に危機的な脳組織の識別および区画のための磁気共鳴画像の評価方法および磁気共鳴画像の評価のためのミスマッチカードに関する。
組織、特に脳組織を医師にとって関心のある詳細さでより良好に表示できるようにするために、それぞれの組織領域をその都度のその状態の種々の重み付けにより優先的に表示することを可能にする種々の磁気共鳴(MR)画像化法が知られている。
MR潅流画像化では、いわゆる半影部または危機状態にある組織が表示される。MR拡散強調撮影によれば、不可逆の損傷を受けた領域を非常に良好に表示することができる。しかしながら、これらの種々の撮影の評価は、従来は視覚的な画像比較によって行なわなければならず、実際には相当困難である。
従って、本発明の課題は、磁気共鳴画像の評価方法、特に危機的な脳組織の識別および区画のための磁気共鳴画像の評価方法において、異なる画像の、手間がかかりかつ細部がいつも不正確である視覚的な相互比較を不要にすることにある。
この課題の解決のために、本発明によれば、同一の身体部位の潅流強調磁気共鳴画像と拡散強調磁気共鳴画像とが重ねられてミスマッチ画像が形成され、しかも好ましくは両磁気共鳴画像の構造物は混合前に異なる色をつけられる。
磁気共鳴画像の重ね合わせによって、観察者は直ちに、例えば卒中発作の際に、どの領域を救うことができるか、すなわちどの領域がまだ不可逆の損傷を受けていないかを識別する。
本発明による方法により、同じ身体部位の潅流強調磁気共鳴画像と拡散強調磁気共鳴画像とを好ましくは色により対照させて画像媒体上に重ねて描出したミスマッチカードが作成される。
以下における図面に基づく実施例の説明から本発明の他の利点、特徴および詳細を明らかにする。
図1は拡散測定から算出された脳部位の磁気共鳴画像を示し、
図2は潅流評価において新しく作られた同じ脳部位のMR測定のカードを示し、
図3は図1および図2による画像のミスマッチカードすなわち画像媒体上での重ね表示を示す。

図1による拡散画像における暗領域は、患者にとって最高の確率でもはや救えない既に壊死した脳領域1を示す。図2による潅流画像において壊死領域1を有する認識可能な領域は、患者が治療されないならば、もはや回復もできない。図2による潅流画像を図1による拡散強調画像と重ねることによって、医師は傷ついた脳部位の位置を一瞥で認識することができ、どこに危機的個所があり、どれをまだ救うことができるのかについて遥かに改善された評価を下すことができる。
図1および図2による画像のミスマッチカードすなわち画像媒体上での重ね表示を示す図3において、実際上、暗い壊死した組織領域1と、明るく認識できる軽く傷ついた組織領域2とは、色で対照させられて形成されている。それによって、傷みの度合いに応じて色の強さまたは色階調を変化させるならば、評価者にとって更に改善された細部にわたる多くの評価可能性がもたらされる。

Claims (3)
- 磁気共鳴画像の評価のために、同一の身体部位の潅流強調磁気共鳴画像と拡散強調磁気共鳴画像とを重ねてミスマッチ画像を形成することを特徴とする磁気共鳴画像の評価方法。
- 潅流強調磁気共鳴画像および拡散強調磁気共鳴画像の構造物に混合前に異なる色をつけることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 同一の身体部位の潅流強調磁気共鳴画像と拡散強調磁気共鳴画像とが画像媒体上に重ねられて描出されていることを特徴とする磁気共鳴画像の評価のためのミスマッチカード。
