Description

The present invention relates to a pipe joint for connecting sanitary pipes used in the manufacture of foods, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and the like.

In sanitary piping used in the manufacture of food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, etc., it is necessary to take hygiene measures such as frequently cleaning the inside of the piping to prevent the growth of germs. Therefore, it is desired to have a good workability capable of easily connecting and disconnecting pipes.

Conventionally, as a pipe joint for connecting the sanitary pipes, for example, as described in Patent Document 1, a flange portion is formed at the shaft end opposite to the side connected to the pipes of both short pipe members. The surface of the flange portion opposite to the shaft end side is tapered, and a gasket is interposed between the flange portions formed on both short pipe members to clamp the tapered flange portion. Pipe joints that can easily connect pipes in a watertight manner have been used. In this pipe joint, since the wing nut is adopted as a fastening member for fastening the clamp member, the pipes connected to both short pipe members can be easily connected or disconnected without requiring a dedicated tool. Can be done.
Utility Model No. 3037380

However, even in the pipe joint having good workability as described above, packing is used to connect the pipes in a watertight manner, and this packing sometimes causes a problem in the sanitary pipe. For example, every time a pipe joint is disassembled or assembled, the packing rubs against the short pipe member and a part of the packing is broken, and the broken pieces enter the pipe or the packing deteriorates due to long-term use of the packing. The part was separated by the flow in the pipe and sometimes mixed with food.

An object of this invention is to provide the pipe joint which can connect sanitary piping watertightly without using packing in view of such a situation.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, in one short tube member, a flange portion is formed at the shaft end opposite to the side connected to the sanitary pipe, and the inner diameter of the short tube member is formed on the flange portion side. A cylindrical projecting portion projecting in the axial direction is formed so as to extend the portion, and a round portion having an arc-shaped cross section is formed on the entire outer periphery of the projecting portion, and the other short tube The member has a flange portion formed on the shaft end opposite to the side connected to the sanitary pipe, and a large-diameter portion on which the protruding portion can be loosely fitted is formed on the flange portion side, and A taper portion whose diameter continuously decreases in the depth direction toward the inner diameter of the short tube member is formed on the bottom surface of the large diameter portion, and the protruding portion of the one short tube member serves as the other short tube. The flanges are clamped with clamp members in the state of being fitted into the large diameter part of the member. The rounded portion is fittings sanitary pipe characterized in that it is pressed against the tapered portion by flop.

According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the pipe joint for sanitary piping according to the first aspect, each short pipe member is formed with a thick portion at a position adjacent to the flange portion.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the pipe joint for sanitary piping according to the second aspect, the inner peripheral surface of the thick portion formed on the one short pipe member or the other short pipe member is radially inward. A protruding locking portion is formed and a groove portion is formed at a position away from the locking portion toward the flange portion. Inside the short tube member, the fluid flowing in the short tube member is contained. A filter that removes foreign matter is disposed so as to be locked to the locking portion from the flange portion side, and a ring-shaped metal fitting that sandwiches the filter with the locking portion is provided in the groove portion. It is the one that is fitted.

According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the pipe joint for sanitary piping according to the third aspect, the filter includes a net-like body in which a large number of meshes are formed and a plate-like body in which a large number of through holes are formed. The plate-shaped body is arranged so as to come to the downstream side.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, the rounded portion formed on one short tube member and the tapered portion formed on the other short tube member are in contact with each other, and when viewed in a local cross section, an arc and a plane are formed. In contact, the contact portion becomes a continuous circular line contact, and the short tube members can be brought into contact with each other without a gap. And since the said round part is press-contacted to the said taper part by clamping the flange part of short tube members, the clearance gap between a round part and a taper part can be block | closed reliably. Therefore, by using this pipe joint, the pipes connected to both short pipe members can be connected in a watertight manner without using packing.

In addition, since the protruding portion of one short tube member can be fitted into the large diameter portion of the other short tube member, the short tube members can be easily connected to each other simply by fitting the protruding portion into the large diameter portion. Since the short pipe members are held together by this fitting even after the clamp member is removed or attached, the disassembly and assembly workability of the pipe joint can be further improved.

According to the invention which concerns on Claim 2, even if a piping material is welded to the edge part on the opposite side to the flange part side of a short pipe member by forming a thick part in the position adjacent to a flange part, it is the said thickness. Since the welding heat is dissipated in the meat part, it prevents the round part or taper part formed on the flange part side from being greatly distorted by the transmission of the welding heat and ensures that the short pipe members are in contact with each other without any gaps. can do.

According to the third aspect of the present invention, it is possible to form a groove portion that is difficult to form in the thin portion by using the thick portion formed in one short tube member or the other short tube member. Then, a locking portion that protrudes further inward in the radial direction is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the thick-walled portion, and the filter is sandwiched between the locking portion and a ring-shaped metal fitting that is fitted into the groove portion. A filter can be provided in a pipe joint portion that can be easily separated.

According to the invention of claim 4, the filter is configured by overlapping a net-like body in which a large number of meshes are formed and a plate-like body in which a large number of through holes are formed, and the plate-like body is on the downstream side. By arranging it so as to come to the end, it is possible to prevent the fragments from flowing downstream in the plate-like body even if a part of the net-like body is torn off due to long-term use.

The best mode for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view showing an example of the pipe joint of the present invention. The pipe joint of the present invention includes short pipe members 10 and 20 having flange portions 12 and 22 formed on one end sides thereof, and a clamp member 30 that clamps the flange portions 12 and 22.

In order to explain the short tube members 10 and 20, these exploded sectional views are shown in FIG.

One short pipe member 10 is formed with the flange portion 12 at the shaft end opposite to the side connected to the sanitary pipe, and the inner diameter portion of the short pipe member 10 is extended to the flange portion 12 side. Thus, a cylindrical projecting portion 14 projecting in the axial direction is formed. A thick portion 16 is formed at a position adjacent to the flange portion 12.

A surface 12a opposite to the shaft end side surface of the flange portion 12 is tapered. Further, a rounded portion 14a having an arcuate cross section is formed at the outer peripheral end of the protruding portion 14 over the entire circumference.

The other short pipe member 20 is formed with the flange portion 22 at the shaft end opposite to the side connected to the sanitary pipe, and the flange portion 22 side is formed with the one short pipe member 10. A large-diameter portion 24 that can fit the projected portion 14 is formed. Further, a thick portion 26 is formed at a position adjacent to the flange portion 22.

The surface 22 a opposite to the shaft end side surface of the flange portion 22 has a tapered shape, like the flange portion 12 of the one short tube member 10. In addition, a tapered portion 24 a whose diameter continuously decreases in the depth direction toward the inner diameter of the short tube member 20 is formed on the bottom surface of the large diameter portion 24.

Here, as specific dimensions of the protruding portion 14 and the large-diameter portion 24, for example, in the case of a pipe joint for 1.5 inch sanitary piping, the outer shape of the protruding portion 14 is a tolerance − The large diameter portion 24 is processed with a tolerance of −0.1 to 0 mm with respect to a diameter of 40.2 mm, so that the protruding portion 14 is loosely fitted to the large diameter portion 24. It is possible.

As shown in FIG. 3, the clamp member 30 includes three arc-shaped clamp pieces 31, 32, and 33, and the clamp pieces 31, 32, and 33 are swingably connected by hinge pins. On the inner peripheral surface side of each clamp piece 31, 32, 33, a groove portion 36 (see FIG. 1) having a side surface along the tapered shape of the flange portions 12, 22 of the short pipe member is formed in the circumferential direction. Yes. Protrusions 31a and 33a projecting in parallel with each other are formed at the end portions of the clamp pieces 31 and 33, respectively. Then, the groove portion 36 is fitted to both the flange portions 12 and 22, and the bolt 34 supported so as to be swingable by the protruding portion 31 a of the one clamp piece 31 is formed on the protruding portion 33 a of the other clamp piece 33. The groove 36 clamps both the flanges 12 and 22 by screwing the wing nut 35 in a state of being fitted in a recess opening downward.

And when connecting sanitary piping using these members 10,20,30, piping material 40,50 is connected to each short tube member 10,20, and protrusion of said one short tube member 10 is carried out. In a state where the portion 14 is fitted into the large diameter portion 24 of the other short tube member 20, the both flange portions 12 and 22 are clamped by the clamp member 30. By this clamp, the rounded portion 14 a formed in the protruding portion 14 is pressed against the tapered portion 24 a formed in the large diameter portion 24.

Thus, when it sees in a local cross section by setting it as the structure where the round part 14a formed in one short tube member 10 and the taper part 24a formed in the other short tube member 20 contact, As shown in FIG. 4, the arc and the flat surface come into contact with each other, and the contact portion becomes a continuous circular line contact, and the short tube members 10 and 20 can be brought into contact with each other without a gap. Furthermore, the gap between the rounded portion 14a and the tapered portion 24a can be reliably closed by the rounded portion 14a being pressed against the tapered portion 24a. Therefore, by using this pipe joint, the connected pipes can be hermetically sealed without using packing.

Here, the above-mentioned effect can be obtained if the radius of the rounded portion 14a in the cross section is 0.5 to 2 mm and the inclination of the tapered portion 24a is 30 to 60 °, but more preferably. If the radius of the round portion 14a in the cross section is 1 mm and the inclination of the tapered portion 24a is 45 °, the above effect can be obtained remarkably. If the radius of the rounded portion 14a is too large, the line width of the contact line where the rounded portion 14a and the tapered portion 24a are in pressure contact with each other is increased by elastic deformation, and the pressure is reduced, thereby reducing the sealing performance. . On the other hand, if the radius of the rounded portion 14a is too small, the tapered portion 24a is damaged by the rounded portion 14a, and the fragments may enter the pipe. If the inclination of the tapered portion 24a is too large or too small, it is difficult to bring the short tube members 10 and 20 into contact with each other so that the flanges 12 and 22 of the short tube members 10 and 20 are parallel to each other. It is difficult to ensure sex.

Further, since the protruding portion 14 of one short tube member 10 can be fitted into the large diameter portion 24 of the other short tube member 20, the protruding portion 14 can be simply fitted into the large diameter portion 24. The short pipe members 10 and 20 can be easily aligned with each other, and the short pipe members 10 and 20 are held together by this fitting even after the clamp member 30 is removed or attached. The workability of disassembly and assembly can be improved.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 2, the large-diameter portion 24 of the short tube member 20 is not suddenly tapered from the opening end, but has a portion with a constant diameter between the opening end and the tapered portion 24a. And the protrusion part 14 of the short tube member 10 is loosely fitted to this part at a minute interval. Therefore, the one short tube member 10 and the other short tube member 20 are prevented from shifting or tilting, and the one short tube member 10 and the other short tube member 20 are correctly aligned.

Further, the tapered portion 24a is not directly connected to the inner diameter of the short tube member 20, but the flat portion 24a is formed only in the vicinity where the rounded portion 14a is in contact with the rounded portion 14a. The gap between the short pipe members 10 and 20 that become a liquid pool when the liquid flows into the pipe can be made as small as possible. If there is a liquid pool in the pipe, there is a risk that germs will propagate there, and sanitary pipes are particularly effective in reducing the location of such a liquid pool for sanitary reasons.

As a method for connecting the short pipe members 10 and 20 and the piping materials 40 and 50, a screwing method or the like can be used. However, when these are connected by welding, the thick portions 16 and 26 are used for the welding. Since heat is dissipated, the round portion 14a or the tapered portion 24a formed on the flange portions 12 and 22 side is prevented from being greatly distorted by the transmission of welding heat, and the short tube members 10 and 20 are brought into contact with each other without any gaps. A state can be secured.

The thick portions 16 and 26 are not always necessary. When the short pipe members 10 and 20 and the piping members 40 and 50 are connected by a method other than welding (for example, screwing or the like), the thick portions 16 and 26 are used. , 26 may not be formed.

Next, another embodiment of the pipe joint of the present invention is shown in FIGS. The same components as those in the above embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and description thereof is omitted.

In this embodiment, a locking portion 26a protruding radially inward is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the thick portion 26 formed on the other short tube member 20 disposed on the downstream side, and this locking A groove portion 26b is formed at a position away from the portion 26a toward the flange portion 22 side. A filter 70 for removing foreign matter mixed in the fluid flowing in the short tube member 20 is locked inside the short tube member 20 from the flange portion 22 side to the locking portion 26a. And a ring-shaped metal fitting 80 that sandwiches the filter 70 with the locking portion 26a is fitted into the groove portion 26b.

The filter 70 is configured by overlapping a net-like body 72 formed with a large number of meshes and a plate-like body 74 formed with a large number of through holes. The filter 70 is disposed so that the plate-like body 74 is on the downstream side. In order to specifically describe the structure of the filter 70, FIG. 7A shows a side sectional view of the filter 70, a front half sectional view on the left half of FIG. 7B, and a front view on the right half.

The mesh body 72 and the plate body 74 are accommodated in a frame body 76 having a frame having a substantially L-shaped cross section. A ring-shaped pressing plate 78 is fitted into the frame body 76 and fixed by welding or the like so that the mesh body 72 and the plate body 74 are sandwiched between the frame body 76 and the frame body 76 in the thickness direction. Yes.

As shown in FIG. 8, the ring-shaped metal fitting 80 that sandwiches the filter 70 with the locking portion 26 a is formed with a knob 82 that is partially cut in the ring shape and folded inward in the radial direction. . Since the knob 82 is formed, the metal fitting 80 can be easily attached to and detached from the groove 26b in the short tube member 20 in the same manner as the hole C-shaped retaining ring.

According to this configuration, it is possible to form the groove portion 26b that is difficult to form in the thin portion by using the thick portion 26 formed in the other short tube member 20. A locking portion 26a that protrudes further radially inward is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the thick wall portion 26, and the filter 70 is sandwiched between the locking portion 26a and the ring-shaped metal fitting 80 that is fitted into the groove 26b. Thus, the filter 70 can be provided in a pipe joint portion that can be easily connected or disconnected. Therefore, maintenance such as replacement of the filter 70 can be performed easily and quickly.

Further, the filter 70 is configured by overlapping a net-like body 72 formed with a large number of meshes and a plate-like body 74 formed with a large number of through-holes so that the plate-like body 74 comes downstream. By disposing, the plate-like body 74 can prevent the fragments from flowing downstream even if a part of the mesh-like body 72 is broken due to long-term use.

In the present embodiment, the other short tube member 20 is provided with the locking portion 26a and the groove portion 26b. However, when one short tube member 10 is disposed on the downstream side, The locking portion 26 a and the groove portion 26 b may be formed on the short tube member 10.

Further, the filter 70 does not necessarily have to be overlapped with the mesh body 72 and the plate body 74 and accommodated in the frame body 76, but has a reinforcement around the mesh body 72 alone. It can also be used, and its shape can be changed as appropriate.
