Description

The present invention relates to an eye wash and an eye wash apparatus.

If dust or pollen gets into your eyes or your eyes are glazed, it is possible to suppress itching by pouring eye drops that are commonly called eye drops containing antiallergic agents or antihistamines with eye drops. (For example, an eye cup) The eyewash is stored, blinking while the eye is immersed in the eyewash with the face facing upward with the upper peripheral edge of the liquid receiving container in contact with the face around the eye An eyewashing device that cleans the eye (such a washing method is referred to as an “eye cup method”) and an injection nozzle that injects the eyewash into the liquid receiving container are provided, and the eyewash is injected from the injection nozzle toward the eyeball. There is something like that.
JP 2002-201126 A JP 2002-282332 A Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-262584 Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-230007

However, in the case of instilling the ophthalmic solution described in Patent Document 1, it is not a fundamental therapy because it does not wash away dust or pollen but only temporarily suppresses itching. was there.
In the case of Patent Document 2 in which the eyeball is washed with the eyewash stored in the liquid receiving container, the eyewash stored in the liquid receiving container requires 5 ml of eyewash in one eye, a total of 10 ml and a large amount of eyewash containing a chemical solution. In addition to being uneconomical, sweat, dust, and cosmetics adhering to the eyelids and the surrounding face may become turbid in the eyewash, and the eyeball may come into contact with the clouded eyewash and cause new inflammation. there were.
Also, in Patent Document 3 in which a relatively large amount of eyewash is ejected from the injection nozzle onto the eyeball, a large amount of dirty eyewash after cleaning the eyeball (stained eyewash after cleaning the eyeball) In order to distinguish it from fresh eyewash before washing the eyeball, “washing liquid” will be stored in the liquid receiving container, and the injection nozzle was buried in this large amount of dirty washing liquid. If it becomes a state, since dirty washing | cleaning liquid is injected to an eyeball with the eyewash liquid injected from an injection nozzle, there exists a possibility of generating a new inflammation like patent document 1. FIG.

Furthermore, since the thing of patent document 4 is a form which sprays an eyewash from one spray nozzle, since there is little eyewash which wash | cleans an eyeball directly, when the spraying quantity of one eyewash is 0.5 ml, quantity will be As it is described that the eye wash is insufficient and 1 ml or more is an appropriate amount, the eye wash efficiency is low, so a relatively large amount of spray is required per time, and the consumption of the eye wash increases. is there. In addition, when the eye wash contains a drug with a relatively strong medicinal effect, a large amount of spray is required in this way, which increases the burden on the eyes. Therefore, an eye wash device that can be safely washed with a small amount of chemical solution Was desired.
The present invention has been proposed in view of the above-described problems, and it is possible to provide an eyewash with high eyewashing efficiency in a small amount, and to provide an eyewashing device that is hygienic, safe, and has high eyewashing efficiency. It is intended.

The ejection hole is protruded inward of the liquid receiving container, and the volume in the liquid receiving container from the ejection hole to the bottom is formed to be larger than the volume in the eye washing liquid container forming the eye washing liquid storage part. The eye wash reservoir is formed of a cylindrical eye wash container having a bottom, an eye wash reservoir is formed in the bottom, and the suction port of the pump unit is opened in the eye wash reservoir, and the attachment means And the surface of the eyewash storage part excluding the attachment means portion is formed in a polygonal shape or an elliptical shape.

An eye wash according to the present invention includes a pump part provided with a suction port at one end and a jet hole at the other end, and an eye wash liquid storage part detachably attached to the suction port side of the pump part by attachment means. An eye wash part comprising a liquid receiving container on the ejection hole side of the pump part, the eyepiece part of the liquid receiving container is pressed against the face around the eyeball, and the eye wash liquid storing part is formed by driving the pump part An eye wash solution containing an antiallergic agent and an antihistamine in an eyewash container is supplied from the ejection hole, and the ejection hole is formed of at least one minute small hole and confronts the eyeball. It is provided at a position, and is configured such that 0.1 to 0.5 ml of eyewash can be directly injected or sprayed only to the eyeball per driving of the pump unit from the ejection hole.

In the eye wash according to the present invention, the eye wash further comprises a refreshing agent, the antiallergic agent is sodium cromoglycate, the antihistamine is chlorpheniramine maleate, and a suction port at one end. A pump part provided with an ejection hole at the other end, an eyewash liquid storage part detachably attached to the suction port side of the pump part by an attaching means, and a liquid receiving container on the ejection hole side of the pump part An eyewash portion comprising: the eyepiece portion of the liquid receiving container is pressed against the face around the eyeball, and the pump portion is driven to form an eyewash liquid reservoir to prevent allergic conjunctivitis in the eyewash container or The eye wash used for treatment is supplied from the ejection hole, and the ejection hole is formed of at least one minute small hole and provided at a position facing the eyeball. It is also intended to characterized the drive once per eyewash 0.1~0.5ml of the pump portion from the hole and only direct injection or sprayable configured to eye.

According to the eye wash of the present invention, since the anti-allergic agent and the antihistamine are contained in the eye wash, the medicinal effect acts simultaneously with washing away the cause of itching such as dust and pollen, so effective treatment is performed. Can do. In particular, antiallergic agents are effective for allergic conjunctivitis.
Since the ejection hole of the pump part protrudes inward of the liquid receiving container, the volume in the liquid receiving container from the ejection hole to the bottom is formed to be larger than the volume in the eye washing liquid container of the eye washing liquid storage part. Even if the eye wash in the eye wash reservoir is used up, the spray hole is not buried in the dirty wash, and a clean eye wash is always sprayed or sprayed directly onto the eyeball from the jet hole.

As a result, the eye washing efficiency is high, and the injection or spraying amount per time of the pump unit is 0.1 to 0.5 ml, which requires only a very small amount of eye washing, is economical, and has a relatively strong medicinal effect. Safe for chemicals.
Furthermore, there is an advantage that there is no circulation of dirty washing liquid and that an eyewashing apparatus excellent in hygiene can be provided.
Next, the eyewash reservoir is formed of a bottomed tube container, and an eyewash reservoir is formed at the bottom of the container, and the suction port of the pump unit is opened in the eyewash reservoir. There is an advantage that a small amount of the eyewash can be effectively used by reducing the residual amount of the eyewash as much as possible.
In addition, the means for attaching the eyewash reservoir to the pump portion of the bottomed cylindrical container is screwed, and the eyewash reservoir that excludes the attachment means is formed into a polygonal or elliptical surface. When attaching the bottom cylindrical container to the pump portion, there is an advantage that the attachment / detachment operation can be easily performed without slipping and the handling can be made convenient.

The pump section 4 includes an outer cylinder 8 having a flange 7 formed at a lower end portion thereof, and an eyewash container mounting inner cylinder 9 whose upper end portion is guided by the outer cylinder 8 and can be moved up and down. An eyewash discharge stem 10 is suspended from the central portion, and an upper end portion of a cylinder 11 slidably fitted to the outer periphery of the eyewash discharge stem 10 is fixed to an inner cylinder 9 for mounting an eyewash container. is there.
An annular piston 12 is attached to the lower end of the eyewash discharge stem 10 between the piston guide 13.
The lower half portion of the eyewash liquid discharge stem 10 and the annular piston 12 are housed in a cylinder 11, and a discharge port 3 is formed at the upper end portion of the eyewash liquid discharge stem 10 supported by a liquid receiving container 22 described later. ing.

A suction pipe 14 is provided at the lower end portion of the cylinder 11, and the lower end opening of the suction pipe 14 serves as the suction port 2.
A check valve 15 is accommodated inside the cylinder 11 and below the piston 12. The lower end of the check valve 15 is a valve body 15 a, and when the eyewash is injected, the valve body 15 a is sucked into the cylinder 11 by being seated on the valve seat 11 a of the small diameter portion of the cylinder 11. Prevents eyewash from flowing down.

2 is a spring stretched between the lower end of the piston guide 13 and the vicinity of the valve seat 11a of the cylinder 11. The elastic force of the spring 16 causes the eyewash liquid discharge stem 10 to The pump 11 is urged in a direction away from the cylinder 11, that is, the inner cylinder 9 for mounting the eyewash container, and the structure of the pump unit 4 of this example is substantially the same as the pump described in JP-A-9-173921. Although it is the same structure, it is not restricted to such a thing, It can also be set as another type, for example, a diaphragm type pump.

The eye wash reservoir 5 is made of a transparent hard synthetic resin, and is formed of an eye wash container 17 formed in a cylindrical shape having a bottom portion 17a having an eye wash storage amount of about 3 ml. A reservoir 18 is formed.
Thus, if the eyewash container 17 of the eyewash reservoir 5 is transparent, the amount of eyewash stored can be accurately grasped.
As shown in FIG. 3, the eyewash reservoir 18 is formed of a small volume cavity that is tapered from the bottom 17 a of the eyewash container 17, and in the vicinity of the bottom 18 a of the eyewash reservoir 18, the suction The mouth 2 is opened.
In the illustrated example, the suction tube 14 forming the suction port 2 is formed integrally with the cylinder 11. However, a separate pipe is attached to the suction tube 14, and the lower end opening of the pipe is connected to the suction port. 2 can also be used.

The eyewash container 17 can also be formed of an antibacterial resin material. In such a case, the eyewash device can be easily maintained and used repeatedly in a clean state.
Note that the lower surface of the eyewash reservoir 18 is positioned substantially flush with the lower end of the eyewash container 17 or above.
The peripheral surface of the lower half portion of the eyewash container 17 is formed in a hexagonal shape, and a pair of spiral protrusions 19 are provided at the intermediate height position of the outer peripheral surface of the upper half portion.
The spiral protrusions 19 are connected to the eyewash container mounting inner cylinder 9 by a pair of spiral protrusions 20 formed so as to protrude from the inner peripheral surface of the eyewash container mounting inner cylinder 9. A screw-type attachment means 21 to be attached is formed.

The eye wash section 6 includes a liquid receiving container 22 formed integrally with the outer cylinder 8 and an ejection hole 25 protruding into the liquid receiving container 22.
The liquid receiving container 22 is made of an antibacterial resin material containing an inorganic antibacterial agent such as silver, and is formed into a constricted and tapered container shape having an upper opening. The bottom 22a is circular in plan view, and the eyepiece 23 Is oval.
Further, the upper peripheral edge 23a of the eyepiece 23 of the liquid receiving container 22 is formed in a gentle arc shape in a side view.

The upper part of the discharge port 3 protruding from the central part of the bottom 22a of the liquid receiving container 22 is closed with a top plate 26, and is drilled substantially perpendicularly at one place in the center of the top plate 26 part and three places around it. The ejection holes 25 are formed by drilling a total of four fine holes (see FIG. 4). Incidentally, the diameter of each minute hole in the ejection hole 25 of this example is 0.4 mmφ.
The diameter and the number of the microscopic holes are variously changed according to the type of the eyewash, the discharge amount of the pump unit 4 and the like. The discharge amount per driving of the pump unit 4 is in the range of 0.1 to 0.5 ml (preferably 0.2 to 0.3 ml), and the number of eyewashes is 10 times or less (preferably 2 to 7 times). , More preferably 3 to 5 times).

Here, when the discharge amount per one drive of the pump unit 4 is set to the above preferable 0.2 or 0.3 ml, as can be seen from the table described in Example 1 described later, the number of cleaning times is 5 times. The number of times and the recovery rate are approximately proportional. However, the recovery rate is not proportional to the number of times from 6 times to 10 times when approximately the entire amount of the eyewash solution in the eyewash container 17 is used. This leads to waste.
Then, the volume in the liquid receiving container 22 from the top plate 26 of the ejection hole 25 protruding into the liquid receiving container 22 to the bottom 22a of the liquid receiving container 22 is the volume of the eyewash before eyewash stored in the eyewash liquid container 17. The capacity is larger than the amount stored.

Incidentally, the volume of the eyewash container 17 is about 3.5 ml, and the prescribed amount of the eyewash injected into the eyewash container 17 is 3 ml, whereas an ejection hole 25 protruding into the liquid receiving container 22 is formed. The washing liquid storage volume in the liquid receiving container 22 from the top plate 26 to the bottom 22a is about 5 ml.
Further, when the liquid receiving container 22 is formed of an antibacterial resin material, the eyewashing device is easily maintained and can be repeatedly used in a clean state.
The volume of the eyewash container 17 and the volume for storing the wash liquid in the liquid receiver 22 are those for washing one eye, but when washing both eyes continuously, the eyewash of the eyewash reservoir 5 is used. The volume of the liquid container 17 is set to, for example, about 7 ml, and the volume of the liquid receiving container 22 of the eye wash unit 5 is increased to, for example, about 10 ml.

2 denotes a packing interposed between the inner cylinder 9 for mounting the eyewash container and the upper end of the eyewash container 17 mounted thereon, and the cylinder 11 is connected to the inner cylinder for mounting the eyewash container. Also serves to fix to 9.
In addition, the liquid receiving container 22 of the eye wash section 6 is formed integrally with the outer cylinder 8, but the liquid receiving container 22 is separated from the outer cylinder 8 as shown in FIG. You can also.
In FIG. 5, the ejection hole 25 is cap-shaped and detachable. In addition to the structure in which the bottom 22 a of the liquid receiving container 22 is flat, a suction pipe 14 separate from the cylinder 11 is attached to the lower end of the cylinder 11. Insertion is fixed.
As described above, when the ejection hole 25 portion is cap-shaped and detachable, the number of the ejection holes 25 can be changed according to the preference of the user of the eye wash device 1.
When the bottom 22a of the liquid receiving container 22 is flat, the washing liquid storage volume in the liquid receiving container 22 can be increased.

Next, the procedure for washing the eyes with the eye wash device 1 formed as described above will be described.
First, the screw-type attachment means 21 is screwed to remove the eyewash container 17 from the inner cylinder 9 for mounting the eyewash container.
Next, after the eyewash prepared in Example 1 or Example 2 or the eyewash similar thereto is divided into a prescribed amount (3 ml) and injected into the eyewash container 17, The eyewash container 17 is held by rotating it so that the spiral projection 19 in the upper half part is screwed into the spiral projection 20 formed on the inner peripheral surface of the inner cylinder 9 for mounting the eyewash container. The eyewash container 17 is securely fixed and attached to the inner cylinder 9 for container attachment.
If the eyewash container 17 is a transparent or translucent container and its body is scaled, when the eyewash is subdivided, the injection amount can be visually recognized from the outside, and the prescribed amount can be simply set. Can be injected.

Then, as shown in FIG. 6, the upper portion of the flange 7 of the outer cylinder 8 is sandwiched between the index finger 28 and the middle finger 29, and the thumb 30 is placed on the lower end of the eyewash container 17 or the lower surface of the eyewash reservoir 18 and spread. The face is brought into contact with the upper peripheral edge 23 a of the eyepiece 23 of the liquid receiving container 22 so that the eyes face the ejection holes 25.
Thereafter, when the thumb 30 is moved up and down, the pump unit 4 is operated in the same manner as the pump described in JP-A-9-173922, and the eyewash liquid in the eyewash container 17 is sucked into the cylinder 11 from the suction port 2. When the check valve 15 is closed, the eyewash liquid in the cylinder 11 flows into the piston guide 13.

The eye washing liquid that has flowed into the piston guide 13 is pumped from the discharge port 3 to the ejection hole 25 by sliding of the piston 12 and is directly ejected toward the eyeball 31 from the ejection hole 25 formed of a minute hole.
By such pumping of the pump unit 4, the eyewash in the eyewash container 17 gradually decreases and decreases, but the reduced eyewash collects in the eyewash reservoir 18, so that the eyewash is not exhausted from the suction port 2 that opens here. The liquid is aspirated. Thereby, the eye wash can be used without waste.
Here, the discharge amount of the eyewash per one drive (one eyewash) of the pump unit 4 in this example was 0.3 ml, and the eyewash in the eyewash container 17 was used with the number of eyewashes 10 times.
The discharge amount of 0.3 ml corresponds to the internal volume of the cylinder 11, and the discharge amount is adjusted to 0.1 to 0 by adjusting the size of the internal volume or the sliding distance of the piston 12. It can be set to be always constant in the range of 5 ml.

Thus, the eyewash sprayed from the ejection hole 25 cleans only the eyeball 31, and the dirty wash liquid flows down from the eyeball 31 or the periphery thereof into the liquid receiving container 22 and is stored.
The washing liquid that flows down and is stored in the liquid receiving container 22 includes dust, dust, pollen, germs, and cosmetics that are dissolved or mixed in the flowing down, but the washing liquid is stored. Since the volume of the reservoir of the liquid receiving container 22 is about 5 ml as described above, even if all 3 ml of the eye washing liquid in the eye washing liquid container 17 is used, the ejection hole 25 may be buried in the washing liquid. Absent.
As a result, the dirty washing liquid stored in the liquid receiving container 22 does not circulate, and a fresh eye washing solution can always be directly injected from the ejection hole 25 directly onto the eyeball.

The hexagonal shape of the lower half of the eyewash container 17 is for preventing the eyewash container 17 from slipping when the eyewash container 17 is rotated. Polygons other than hexagons (for example, pentagons) or ellipses can also be used.
In this example, the number of fine small holes in the ejection holes 25 is four. However, the number is not limited to this, and the number of fine holes can be reduced to one. It goes without saying that various changes can be made.
When the number of minute holes in the injection hole 25 is one, the diameter of the eyewash to be sprayed or sprayed is further reduced by reducing the diameter of the eyewash to reduce the diameter or mist diameter of the eyewash to the eyeball. Although it is desirable to make it soft, there is a possibility that the eyewash liquid may be difficult to be ejected or sprayed if the diameter of the ejection hole 25 is too small due to the physical properties of the eyewash liquid. The number is preferably 2-9, more preferably 4-7.
Further, in this example, it is expressed that the eye washing liquid is ejected from the ejection hole 25, but this ejection includes that which is directly ejected to the eyeball 31 in the state of a mist, that is, a spray.

Incidentally, the result of the test performed in order to confirm the eye wash effect with the eye wash apparatus which concerns on this example is as follows.
Test Example Test Method An agar medium was prepared in a 35 mm diameter Petri dish, and about 20 mg of antigenic substance (Nippon cedar pollen, manufactured by Seikagaku Corporation) was suspended in 50 ml of sterile physiological saline containing 0.05% polysorbate 80. After inoculating 0.2 ml (4.21 × 10 4 ) of the turbid preparation on the agar medium, it was air-dried to the extent that the antigenic substance did not flow, and was fixed on the surface of the agar medium (in this way The treated agar medium is hereinafter referred to as “carrier”). The carrier was washed with physiological saline as a washing solution by the conventional method (eye cup method) or the eye washing (washing) method according to the present invention, and the amount of antigenic substance in the washing solution was counted under a microscope (n = 3). In the conventional method, 1.0 ml of physiological saline was applied to the carrier, and it was washed by applying a constant vibration (10 seconds) with a micromixer. In the cleaning method according to the present invention, a predetermined amount of physiological saline was sprayed a predetermined number of times at a fixed distance with the carrier surface directed toward the ejection holes (four microscopic holes). The following table shows the cleaning effect (recovery rate).
