そして、短側面2bの二つの角部の強調突起20,20に対向するコーナヒータ45、45は単一のシリンダ46に連結され、これらコーナヒータ45、45は長側面2aと略平行な方向に一体に進退可能とされて寸法の異なる製袋チューブ2に対応可能とされている。同様な構成のコーナヒータ45、45及びシリンダ46が対向する短側面2bに向かいあって配設されている。なお、コーナヒータ45は個別にシリンダを取付け、個別に進退可能に構成してもよい。

そして縦シーラ43の領域では繰り出しベルト8で間欠搬送されるフィルムfの送りが停止する。そして、フロントプレート46の間隙46aから突出する合掌シール部S3に対し、開放状態のシーラ部43a、43aが閉鎖作動して挟んで加熱シールする。これによって合掌シール部S3が縦シールされる。
