本発明は、包装フィルムをガセット付き角床袋形状に形成しつつ被包装物を包装する製袋充填包装が可能な縦形製袋充填包装機に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、ガセットが付いた角床形の製袋充填包装袋は、図3に示すように、包装フィルムが筒状に折り曲げられるとともに、フィルム両端縁のフィルム内面同士を合わせて縦シールgを施して包装筒とされ、縦シールgが袋の裏面中央にくるように該包装筒の下部両側面を包装筒内方へ押し込めて下部ガセットcが付けられ、袋の前後方向両側からボトム横シールdが施され、袋内に被包装物が充填された後に、袋の上部両側面を袋内方へ押し込めて上部ガセットeが付けられ、袋の上端にトップ横シールfが施されてなるものであった。そして、図4に示すように、該製袋充填包装袋を製造する縦形製袋充填包装機は、製袋器1の案内作用により包装フィルムFを製品落下充填筒2を包む筒状となるように曲成し、かつ製品落下充填筒2の前側で包装フィルムFの両端縁のフィルム内面同士を合わせて縦ヒートシール装置3で挟圧して電熱することによって縦シールgを施して包装筒Hを形成し、製品落下充填筒2の下方に垂下する包装筒H内に製品落下充填筒2を通して被包装物を充填し、製品落下充填筒2の下方に一対に設けられているガセット板4を製品落下充填筒2の下端より垂下されている両側に各二本の棒部材5,5の間に外方から突っ込むことにより、包装筒Hの両側にガセットを付け、包装筒Hの前記充填した被包装物の上をガセットが付いた状態に横ヒートシール・カット装置6で挟圧して電熱することによって二条の横シールc,dを施すとともに横シールc,d間を切り離しカットするように構成されていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記の従来の製袋充填包装袋は、縦シールが袋の裏面中央にくるので、形態上、袋に表裏が有ることが避けられない。したがって、包装フィルムの袋の表裏となる部分に別々の印刷をしなければならず、商品陳列上も袋包装体の表裏を考慮しなければならない。また、袋内に被包装物を充填したとき、袋の両側部にガセットを備えているので袋底面が角床形状になるが、袋の下部両側部が袋内の被包装物によって押されることで膨らんでしまい、角床袋の形状が悪くなっていた。

そこで本発明者は、図3に示す従来の製袋充填包装袋の欠点を解消し得るものとして、図2に示す形態の製袋充填包装袋を案出した。該製袋充填包装袋は、包装フィルムが筒状に折り曲げられるとともに、フィルム両端縁のフィルム内面同士を合わせて縦シールaが施され且つフィルム巾中央縦線よりフィルム内面同士を合わせて飾りの縦シールbが施されて包装筒とされ、該包装筒の縦シールaと飾りの縦シールbが包装筒下部内方へ押し込められ下部ガセットcが付けられ、縦シールaと飾りの縦シールbの対向方向と直交する方向からボトム横シールdが施されて、袋内に被包装物を充填した後に該包装筒の縦シールaと飾りの縦シールbが包装筒上部内方へ押し込められ上部ガセットeが付けられ、トップ横シールfを施されて形成されている。この製袋充填包装袋は、袋の両側部に縦シールaと飾りの縦シールbが現れる形態を有している。

本願第一発明の目的は、図2に示す形態の製袋充填包装袋となるように製袋し得る縦形製袋充填包装機を提供することであり、また本願第二発明の目的は、上記本願第一発明の目的に加えて、製品充填筒の中程でブリッジが生じないとともに、フィルムの円筒曲成が製品充填筒に密着する性質があるナイロン系やポリエステル系の包装フィルムであっても飾りの縦シールを良好に形成することができ、また厚い包装フィルムやアルミニウムの薄膜をベースとして積層した包装フィルムであっても、製袋器の頂上部のところで折り返される際にフィルム巾方向に波が生じて傷になるということがないように製袋し得る縦形製袋充填包装機を提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の課題を解決するため、本願第一発明による縦形製袋充填包装機は、包装フィルムを製品充填筒を包む筒状となるように案内曲成する製袋器、前記製品充填筒の前側で前記包装フィルムの両端縁のフィルム内面同士を合わせて縦シールを施し前記包装フィルムを包装筒に形成する縦ヒートシール装置、前記製品充填筒の下端両側より各側でそれぞれ二本が垂下されている棒部材、前記製品充填筒の下方に設けられておりそれぞれ前記各二本の棒部材の間に外方から突っ込むことにより前記包装筒の両側にガセットを付ける一対のガセット板、及び前記製品充填筒から垂下する前記包装筒内に前記製品充填筒を通して充填された被包装物の上方の前記包装筒をガセットが付いた状態で二条の横シールを施す横ヒートシール装置を備えている縦形製袋充填包装機において、前記製品充填筒の後側上部に、フィルム巾中央部を折り線としてフィルム内面同士が折合わされるフィルム巾中央部折合せ部分を形成するリブが設けられており、前記製品充填筒の後側で且つ前記リブの下側に、前記フィルム巾中央部折合せ部分に飾りの縦シールを施す後側縦ヒートシール装置が設けられており、前記棒部材の各二本は前記製品充填筒の下端の前側と後側で垂下しており、前記ガセット板は、前記製品充填筒の前側下方と後側下方に一対に設けられていて、前記各側の二本の棒部材の間に外方から突っ込んで前後一対の縦シールをそれぞれ各側の前記ガセットと一致させて前記包装筒内方に押し込み動作し、更に前記横ヒートシール装置は、四本の前記棒部材よりも所要下方において左右方向に閉じて前記横シールを施すことを特徴としている。

【作用】
本願第一発明による縦形製袋充填包装機の作用を説明する。包装フィルムの両端縁が製品充填筒の前側で内面同士を合わされ、縦ヒートシール装置はフィルム両端縁に縦シールを施す。また、包装フィルムのフィルム巾中央部分は、製品充填筒に密着するとともにリブを密着迂回するように曲成される。包装フィルムのリブを密着迂回する部分は、リブの下側に移送されたところでフィルム内面同士が自然に折り合い、後側縦ヒートシール装置はフィルム内面同士が折り合った部分に飾りの縦シールを施す。こうして、製品充填筒の下方の前側に縦シール、後側に飾りの縦シールが施された包装筒が垂下する。該包装筒を一対のガセット板が、両側の各二本の棒部材の間において、折込み方向を各縦シールと一致させて外方から突っ込んで両側にガセットを付ける。そこで、製品落下充填筒を通して被包装物を充填して横ヒートシール装置で包装筒の被包装物の上下を横シールを施すと、形態上袋の表裏がなく角床袋の形状が良好に維持できる袋の製袋充填包装ができる。

本願第二発明による縦形製袋充填包装機の作用を説明する。製品充填筒の製袋器で取り巻かれている部分の上半部の外形が実質的に円形に形成され製袋器との間に包装フィルムを通す環状隙間が確保されているので、包装フィルムは、製品充填筒に密着して円筒に曲成される種類と、製品充填筒から離れて製袋器の円筒部に密着して円筒に曲成される種類のいずれでも、折り径が同一になるように円筒状に曲成され、製品充填筒の偏平面部に移送されると、偏平面部に対応するフィルム部分(フィルム巾中央部)に飾りの縦シールを形成するのに利用できる余剰寸法代が生じる。また製品充填筒と製袋器との間の隙間が小さいから、厚い包装フィルムやアルミニウムの薄膜をベースとして積層した包装フィルムであっても、製袋器の頂上部のところで折り返される際にフィルム巾方向に波(フィルムの暴れ)が生じることが防止され、皺や傷が生じないように製品充填筒を包む綺麗な筒状に曲成される。包装フィルムの両端縁が製品充填筒の前側で内面同士を合わされ、縦ヒートシール装置はフィルム両端縁に縦シールを施す。また、包装フィルムの偏平面部に対応する巾中央部分は、製品充填筒の偏平面部側に対設されているフィルムガイド板のガイド作用により偏平面部に密着するとともにリブを密着迂回するように曲成される。包装フィルムのリブを密着迂回する余剰寸法代部分は、リブの下側に移送されたところでフィルム内面同士が自然に折り合い、飾りの縦シール用縦ヒートシール装置はフィルム内面同士が折り合った部分に飾りの縦シールを施す。こうして、製品充填筒の下方に前側に縦シール,後側に飾りの縦シールが施された包装筒が垂下する。一対のガセット板は、両側の各二本の棒部材の間において、折り込み方向を各縦シールに一致させて、外方から該包装筒に突っ込んで両側にガセットを付ける。そこで、製品充填筒を通して被包装物を充填し、横ヒートシール装置で包装筒の被包装物の上下の位置で横シールを施すと、角床袋の形状が良好に維持できる袋の製袋充填包装ができる。

【実施例】
図1は、本願第一発明及び本願第二発明に共通の実施例に係る縦形製袋充填包装機を示す。この実施例においては、製品充填筒としての製品落下充填筒2の上部を取り巻くように設けられた製袋器1に連続する包装フィルムFを導き、製袋器1の案内作用により包装フィルムFを製品落下充填筒2を包む筒状となるように曲成し、製品落下充填筒2の前側で包装フィルムFの両端縁の内面同士を合わせ縦長帯状のガイド板10,10で両端縁の合わせを維持し、縦ヒートシール装置3の一対の縦長なバーヒータ3a,3aで挟圧して電熱することにより縦シールaを施して、包装筒Hを形成している。製品落下充填筒2は、製袋器1で取り巻かれている部分のうち外形が実質的に円形に形成されている上半部を有しており、上半部と製袋器1との間に包装フィルムFを通す数ミリの均等な環状隙間が確保されている。製品落下充填筒2の後面側には、上端から下端までにわたり偏平面部2a’が形成されており、偏平面部2a’上部の巾中央部にリブ7が付設されている。偏平面部2a’とリブ7に対応して、包装フィルムFを偏平面部2a’とリブ7に密着するように曲成ガイドする一対のフィルムガイド板9,9が設けられている。リブ7により包装フィルムFの巾中央の余剰寸法代がリブ7を密着して迂回するように曲成されてフィルム巾中央部を折り線としてフィルム巾中央折合わせ部分が形成される。フィルム巾中央折合わせ部分は、フィルム移送に伴い製品落下充填筒2の後側のリブ7の下側に設けられた後側縦ヒートシール装置8の一対の縦長なバーヒータ8a,8aで挟圧されて電熱されることによって飾りの縦シールbが施される。製品落下充填筒2の下方に一対に設けられているガセット板4,4を製品落下充填筒2の下端両側より垂下されている各二本の棒部材5,5の間に外方から突っ込むことにより、包装筒Hの両側にガセットを付ける。このとき、両側のガセットの折込方向は、両側の縦シールa,bに一致される。被包装物は、製品落下充填筒2の下方に垂下する包装フィルムFの包装筒H内に製品落下充填筒2を通して充填される。横ヒートシール・カット装置6は、包装筒Hの被包装物の上下を包装筒Hが偏平となるように挟圧して横シールを施すとともに、下の袋の上部横シールfと一つ上の袋の下部横シールdの間を横にカットすることにより、包装筒Hから被包装物がガゼット付き角床袋に包装された袋包装体を切り出すことができる。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように、本願第一発明の縦形製袋充填包装機によれば、製品充填筒の前後において形成された縦シール及び飾りの縦シールをそれぞれガセット板の折り込みによって袋の内方に押し込んで補強されたガゼットが形成でき、図2に示すように、縦シールが袋の表裏に現れないことによって形態上、袋の表裏がなく、袋内に被包装物を充填したとき袋内の被包装物により押されても袋の下部両側部が膨らず角床袋の形状が良好に維持できるガセット付き角床袋形状を製袋し得る。また本願第二発明の縦形製袋充填包装機によれば、上記本願第一発明と同一の効果が得られるのに加えて、製品充填筒の中程でブリッジが生じないとともに、フィルムの円筒曲成が製品充填筒に密着する性質があるナイロン系やポリエステル系の包装フィルムであっても飾り縦シールを良好に形成することができ、また厚い包装フィルムやアルミニウムの薄膜をベースとして積層した包装フィルムであっても、製袋器の頂上部のところで折り返される際にフィルム巾方向に波が生じて傷になるということがないように製袋し得る。
