複数の導体が平面状に並設されると共に絶縁被覆で覆われてなるフラットハーネスの一端に形成されたプラグコネクタと、
このプラグコネクタと嵌合するレセプタクルコネクタとを備えたコネクタにおいて、
前記プラグコネクタは、
前記フラットハーネスの一端の少なくとも一方の面側の絶縁被覆が除去されて外部に露出された前記複数の導体と、
前記外部に露出された複数の導体の背面側及び基端側にアウトサート成形又はオーバーモールド成形されて前記複数の導体を支持及び補強する所定硬度の樹脂成型部材からなる支持・補強部材とを備え、
前記レセプタクルコネクタは、
前記プラグコネクタを内部に収容するコネクタハウジングと、
このコネクタハウジングの内部に装着されて前記プラグコネクタの挿入時に、前記外部に露出した複数の導体と接触する複数の接続端子と
