Description

The present invention relates to a waterproof structure in an electronic device such as an electronic wristwatch or a mobile phone.

Conventionally, there is a radio timepiece with an antenna built in an electronic wristwatch. This type of electronic wristwatch automatically corrects the time by receiving a radio wave at a reference time with a built-in antenna, and is equipped with a wristwatch case made of synthetic resin to receive the radio wave with the antenna. A part of the case, for example, a part on the 12 o'clock side is extended to the side, and an antenna housing part for housing the antenna is provided on the extension part so that the antenna housing part is opened on the upper side. Some cover members are made to adhere to each other by ultrasonic welding so that the antenna is protected by waterproofing.

In such an electronic wristwatch, it is necessary to use a synthetic resin mixed with glass fiber as a cover member in order to ensure the strength of the cover member against an impact such as dropping. In such a case, the cover member is formed by ultrasonic welding. Since the waterproof property cannot be secured only by fixing the peripheral edge of the antenna housing to the peripheral edge of the antenna housing portion, a packing is provided between the fitting portions where the peripheral edge portion of the antenna housing portion and the peripheral edge portion of the cover member are fitted to each other. Yes.

However, in such an electronic wrist watch, when the part of the fitting part in which the peripheral part of the cover member and the peripheral part of the antenna housing part are fitted to each other is ultrasonically welded, the melted resin is contained in the fitting part. When it flows into the tight contact surface of the packing, there is a problem that the waterproofness and airtightness due to the packing are lowered by the resin that flows in, and sufficient waterproofness and airtightness cannot be secured.

In order to prevent such a problem, the resin melted at the time of ultrasonic welding flows into the contact surface of the packing into the fitting portion where the peripheral portion of the cover member and the peripheral portion of the antenna housing portion are fitted to each other. Although there exists a thing of the structure which formed the defense wall part to prevent integrally, in such a structure, the thickness in the width direction of a fitting part becomes thick with a defense wall part, and there exists a problem that the whole fitting part becomes large.
JP 2002-98780 A

The problem to be solved by the present invention is that the entire fitting portion is not enlarged and waterproof and airtightness cannot be secured.

A cover member (cover panel 10) made of synthetic resin for closing, a fitting portion (50, 60, 70) provided on the peripheral portion of the component storage portion and the peripheral portion of the cover member to be fitted to each other; A fixing portion (51, 61, 71) to which a part of the fitting portion is fixed by welding, and a packing (41, 62, 72) disposed between the fitting portions,

It is a waterproof structure characterized by the provision of letter-shaped grooves (54, 75).

In the invention according to claim 4, as shown in FIGS. 10 and 11, the packing (62) has a front end surface of the fitting convex portion (63) and the fitting concave portion (64) opposed thereto. A flat surface portion (19) disposed between the bottom surface and a side surface portion (20) disposed between the side surface of the fitting convex portion and the side surface of the fitting concave portion on the fixing portion (61) side. A first packing portion (17) having a substantially L-shaped cross section formed integrally with a second packing portion (18) having a substantially circular cross section formed integrally with the flat portion of the first packing portion. The waterproof structure according to claim 3, comprising:

In the invention according to claim 5, as shown in FIGS. 12 and 13, the packing (72) is formed in a substantially circular cross section, and the fitting convex portion (73) on the fixing portion (71) side. A convex-side stepped portion (76) is provided on the side surface of the concave portion, and a concave-side stepped portion (77) that bites into and closely contacts a part of the convex-side stepped portion on the side surface of the fitting concave portion (74) facing the convex-shaped stepped portion (76) The waterproof structure according to claim 3, wherein the waterproof structure is provided.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, the packing is disposed between the fitting portions in which the peripheral portion of the component housing portion of the case and the peripheral portion of the cover member are fitted to each other, and the fitting protrusion of the fitting portion is arranged. When the portion and the fitting concave portion are fitted, the flat portion of the first packing portion and the second packing portion having a substantially circular cross section formed integrally with the flat portion are connected to the tip surface of the fitting convex portion. Because it is sandwiched between the bottom surface of the fitting recess facing this, and the side surface portion of the first packing portion is sandwiched between the side surface of the fitting convex portion and the side surface of the fitting recess on the fixing portion side. In this state, when the fixing portion of the fitting portion is fixed by welding, even if the resin of the fixing portion melts, the fixing portion is sandwiched between the side surface of the fitting convex portion and the side surface of the fitting concave portion. The melted resin flows to the close contact surface of the second packing portion by the side surface portion of the attached first packing portion. Takeno can be prevented, thereby ensuring the waterproofness and airtightness.

In this case, in particular, the first packing portion is sandwiched between the front end surface of the fitting convex portion and the bottom surface of the fitting concave portion facing this, and the side surface of the fitting convex portion on the fixing portion side. And a side surface portion sandwiched between the side surface of the fitting recess and the side surface portion prevents the resin from flowing into the contact surface of the second packing portion. It is not necessary to provide a protective wall portion for preventing the resin from flowing into the tight contact surface of the packing at the fitting portion where the portion and the peripheral portion of the antenna housing portion are fitted to each other. For this reason, the shape of the fitting portion is simplified and the manufacture thereof is facilitated, and the thickness of the entire fitting portion in the width direction can be reduced as compared with the conventional example, and the fitting convex portion and the fitting portion are fitted. The amount of biting (covering amount) with the mating recess can also be reduced, whereby the entire fitting portion can be reduced.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, the packing having a substantially circular cross section is disposed between the fitting portions in which the peripheral edge portion of the component housing portion of the case and the peripheral edge portion of the cover member are fitted to each other. When the fitting convex part and the fitting concave part of the part are fitted, the concave side step part of the fitting concave part bites into and closely adheres to a part of the convex side step part of the fitting convex part located on the fixed part side, In this state, when fixing the fixing portion of the fitting portion by welding, even if the resin of the fixing portion melts, the concave stepped portion bites into and adheres to a part of the convex stepped portion, It is possible to prevent the melted resin from flowing into the tight contact surface of the packing, thereby ensuring waterproofness and airtightness.

Also in this case, when the fitting convex portion and the fitting concave portion are fitted, the concave step portion of the fitting concave portion is formed on a part of the convex step portion provided on the side surface of the fitting convex portion on the fixing portion side. Since it bites in and closely adheres to prevent the resin from flowing into the tight contact surface of the packing, the peripheral portion of the cover member and the peripheral portion of the antenna storage portion are fitted to each other as in the conventional example, There is no need to provide a protective wall portion that prevents the resin from flowing into the tight contact surface of the packing. For this reason, the thickness in the width direction of the fitting portion can be reduced as compared with the conventional example, and the amount of biting (covering amount) between the fitting convex portion and the fitting concave portion can be reduced. The whole fitting part can be made small.

According to the third aspect of the present invention, the packing is disposed between the fitting portion in which the peripheral portion of the component storage portion of the case and the peripheral portion of the cover member are fitted, and the fitting convex portion of the fitting portion. When the fitting recess and the fitting recess are fitted, a substantially V-shaped groove provided on at least the tip surface of the fitting projection among the tip surface of the fitting projection and the bottom surface of the fitting recess facing the fitting projection. Since the packing bites into each other, the packing can be brought into pressure contact with the opposing surfaces in the substantially V-shaped groove. In this state, when the fixing portion of the fitting portion is fixed by welding, even if the resin of the fixing portion is melted and flows into the packing portion in the fitting portion, the packing of the opposing surface in the substantially V-shaped groove portion By being in pressure contact with both, waterproofness and airtightness can be ensured.

Also in this case, since the packing is bitten into the substantially V-shaped groove portion provided on at least the front end surface of the fitting convex portion in the fitting portion to ensure waterproofness and airtightness, as in the conventional example There is no need to provide a protective wall portion for preventing the resin from flowing into the tight contact surface of the packing at the fitting portion where the peripheral portion of the cover member and the peripheral portion of the antenna housing portion are fitted to each other. For this reason, as in the invention described in claim 1, not only the shape of the fitting portion is simplified and the manufacture thereof is facilitated, but also the thickness in the width direction of the fitting portion is greater than that of the invention described in claim 1. While being able to make it thin, the amount of biting (covering amount) between the fitting convex part and the fitting concave part can also be reduced, whereby the whole fitting part can be further reduced.

According to the invention described in claim 4, as in the invention described in claim 3, waterproofing and airtightness are ensured by the packing being pressed against both of the opposing surfaces in the substantially V-shaped groove. In addition, when the packing is arranged between the fitting convex part and the fitting concave part of the fitting part and the fitting convex part and the fitting concave part of the fitting part are fitted, the first packing And the side surface portion of the first packing portion is sandwiched between the front end surface of the fitting convex portion and the bottom surface of the fitting concave portion facing the second packing portion. Is sandwiched between the side surface of the fitting convex portion and the side surface of the fitting concave portion on the fixing portion side, so that when the fixing portion of the fitting portion is fixed by welding, even if the resin of the fixing portion melts In the same manner as in the invention described in claim 1, the melted out by the side surface portion of the first packing portion. It is possible to prevent the oil from flowing into the close contact surface of the second packing part, and this can also ensure waterproofness and airtightness, so that a further waterproof and airtight thing can be obtained. .

According to the invention described in claim 5, as in the invention described in claim 3, waterproofing and airtightness are ensured by the packing being pressed against both of the opposing surfaces in the substantially V-shaped groove. In addition, when the fitting convex part and the fitting concave part of the fitting part are fitted, the concave side of the fitting concave part is part of the convex step part of the fitting convex part located on the fixing part side. Since the stepped portion bites into and comes into close contact with the fitting portion, when the fixing portion of the fitting portion is fixed by welding, even if the resin of the fixing portion melts out, the melted resin remains in the packing. It can be prevented from flowing into the close contact surface of the part, and this can also ensure waterproofness and airtightness, so that it is possible to obtain a further waterproof and airtight thing.

A first embodiment in which the present invention is applied to an electronic wristwatch will be described below with reference to FIGS.
FIG. 1 is a front view of the electronic wristwatch, and FIG. 2 is an enlarged cross-sectional view taken along the line AA.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the electronic wristwatch includes a wristwatch case 1 made of synthetic resin. As shown in FIG. 1, a bezel 2 is attached to the outer peripheral portion of the upper surface of the watch case 1, and a watch glass 3 is attached to the central portion of the upper surface of the watch case 1 by welding. Further, as shown in FIG. 2, a watch module 4 is housed inside the watch case 1, and a back cover 5 is attached to the lower surface of the watch case 1 via a waterproof ring 6. .

As shown in FIG. 1, band attaching portions 7 are integrally provided on the wristwatch case 1 at the 12 o'clock side and the 6 o'clock side in a state of projecting sideways. Among these band attaching portions 7, the 12 o'clock side band attaching portion 7 is provided with an antenna accommodating portion 9 for accommodating an antenna 8 opened on the upper surface side as shown in FIG. A cover panel 10 for protecting the antenna 8 housed in the part 9 is attached to the part 9 by ultrasonic welding. In this case, the cover panel 10 is made of synthetic resin, and a part thereof, that is, about half of the 3 o'clock side (right side in FIG. 1) is covered and protected by the presser portion 11 provided on the bezel 2. The antenna 8 is electrically connected to the timepiece module 4 in the wristwatch case 1 through the connection line 8a in a state where it is housed in the antenna housing portion 9.

By the way, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the waterproof structure of the antenna housing portion 9 and the cover panel 10 is provided at each peripheral edge portion of the antenna housing portion 9 and the cover panel 10 to be fitted to each other. 12, a fixing portion 13 to which a part of the fitting portion 12 corresponding to each other is fixed by ultrasonic welding, and a packing 14 disposed between the fitting portions 12 are provided. As shown in FIG. 4, the fitting portion 12 includes a fitting convex portion 15 provided on the peripheral portion of the antenna housing portion 9 and a fitting concave portion 16 provided on the peripheral portion of the cover panel 10. A notch groove 15a is provided on the side surface of the protruding protrusion of the fitting protrusion 15 on the side of the fixing portion 13 (the inner side located on the right side in FIG. 4). Moreover, the adhering part 13 is located in the inner lower part (lower right part in FIG. 4) of the fitting convex part 15 and the fitting concave part 16, and is configured such that both of the parts are fixed by ultrasonic welding. .

Further, as shown in FIG. 4, the packing 14 includes a first packing portion 17 having a substantially L-shaped cross-section and a second packing portion 18 having a substantially circular cross-sectional shape integrated with a synthetic resin such as rubber. It is the structure formed in. That is, the first packing portion 17 includes the flat portion 19 disposed between the front end surface of the fitting convex portion 15 of the fitting portion 12 and the bottom surface of the fitting concave portion 16 facing the fitting portion 12, and the fixing portion 13 side. The side surface portion 20 is disposed in the notch groove 15a positioned between the side surface of the fitting convex portion 15 located at the side and the side surface of the fitting concave portion 16 opposite to the side surface. Are integrally formed so that the cross-sectional shape is substantially L-shaped. The second packing part 18 has a substantially circular cross-sectional shape and is formed integrally with the flat part 19 of the first packing part 17.

In such a waterproof structure of the antenna housing portion 9 and the cover panel 10 in the electronic wristwatch, the fitting is provided on each peripheral edge portion of the antenna housing portion 9 and the cover panel 10 which are a part of the watch case 1 and is fitted to each other. Between the joint portions 12, a packing 14 including a first packing portion 17 having a substantially L-shaped cross-section and a second packing portion 18 having a substantially circular cross-sectional shape is disposed, and the fitting portion 12 is fitted. When the convex portion 15 and the fitting concave portion 16 are fitted, the flat portion 19 of the first packing portion 17 and the second packing portion 18 having a substantially circular cross section face the tip surface of the fitting convex portion 15. The side portion 20 of the first packing portion 17 is positioned between the side surface of the fitting convex portion 15 and the side surface of the fitting concave portion 16 on the fixing portion 13 side. It is sandwiched in the notch groove 15a.

For this reason, when fixing the fixing part 13 in the fitting part 12 of the antenna housing part 9 and the synthetic resin cover panel 10 which are part of the synthetic resin watch case 1 in this state by ultrasonic welding, Even if the resin of the fixing portion 13 melts, the notch groove 15a provided between the side surface of the fitting convex portion 15 and the side surface of the fitting concave portion 16 located on the fixing portion 13 side (right side in FIG. 4). The side portion 20 of the first packing portion 17 that is sandwiched and closely adhered to the inside can prevent the melted resin from flowing into the contact surface of the second packing portion 18 in the fitting portion 12, thereby Waterproofness and airtightness can be ensured by the packing 14 including the first and second packing portions 17 and 20.

In this case, in particular, the first packing portion 17 is sandwiched between the front end surface of the fitting convex portion 15 and the bottom surface of the fitting concave portion 16 opposed thereto, and the fixing portion 13 side (in FIG. 4). The side surface 20 is sandwiched in the notch groove 15a located between the side surface of the fitting convex portion 15 located on the right side) and the side surface of the fitting concave portion 16, and is fitted by this side surface portion 20. Since the resin is prevented from flowing into the close contact surface of the second packing portion 18 in the portion 12, the structure is simpler than that of the conventional example, and the entire fitting portion 12 can be formed small.

That is, in the conventional example, as shown in FIG. 5, the fitting convex portion 26 of the fitting portion 25 provided on each peripheral edge portion of the antenna housing portion 9 and the cover panel 10 and fitted to each other has a substantially circular cross section. The convex portion 28 where the packing 27 is disposed is provided, and the protective wall portion 30 further protruding upward is provided on the fixing portion 29 side of the convex portion 28, and the fitting concave portion 26 is fitted into the fitting concave portion. 31 is provided with a concave portion 32 into which the convex portion 28 of the fitting convex portion 26 is fitted and a protective concave portion 33 into which the protective wall portion 30 is fitted, and the fitting convex portion 26 and the fitting concave portion 31 are fitted. In this state, the fixing portion 29 at the inner lower portion (right lower portion in FIG. 5) is fixed by ultrasonic welding. At this time, even if the resin of the fixing portion 29 melts and flows out, the defense wall portion 30 of the fitting convex portion 26 prevents the resin from flowing into the packing 27.

However, in such a structure of the conventional example, when the fixing portion 29 is fixed by ultrasonic welding, even if the resin of the fixing portion 29 melts and flows out, the packing 27 is prevented by the protective wall portion 30 of the fitting convex portion 26. The thickness of the fitting portion 25 in the width direction, that is, the thickness T1 in the width direction of the entire fitting convex portion 26 is a thickness A corresponding to the outer edge portion of the fitting concave portion 31. And the thickness B of the convex portion 28, the thickness C of the defense wall portion 30, and the thickness D corresponding to the inner edge portion of the fitting concave portion 31 (T1 = A + B + C + D). The amount of biting into the concave portion 31 (covering amount H1) also increases.

On the other hand, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the fitting portion 12 of the first embodiment does not need to be provided with the defense wall portion 30, and accordingly, the shape of the fitting portion 12 is simplified. In addition to facilitating the manufacture, the thickness of the fitting portion 12 in the width direction (left and right lateral direction in FIG. 3), that is, the thickness T2 of the fitting convex portion 15 in the width direction can be reduced as compared with the conventional example. In addition, the amount of biting (covering amount H2) in the height direction (vertical vertical direction in FIG. 3) between the fitting convex portion 15 and the fitting concave portion 16 can be reduced.

That is, the thickness T2 in the width direction of the fitting convex portion 15 in the first embodiment is the thickness A corresponding to the outer edge of the fitting concave portion 16, the thickness B + α of the convex portion of the fitting convex portion 15, and the fitting. The sum (T2 = A + B + α + D) of the thickness D corresponding to the inner edge of the concave portion 16 is obtained, and the thickness α of the side surface portion 20 of the first packing portion 17 is significantly smaller than the thickness C of the protective wall portion 30 of the conventional example. (Α <C). Therefore, compared to the conventional example, the thickness T2 of the entire fitting portion 12 can be reduced (T2 <T1), and the biting amount (covering amount H2) between the fitting convex portion 15 and the fitting concave portion 16 can be reduced. It can be made smaller than the conventional one by the amount of protrusion of the defense wall portion 30 (H2 <H1), whereby the entire fitting portion 12 can be made smaller.

(Embodiment 2)
Next, a second embodiment in which the present invention is applied to an electronic wristwatch will be described with reference to FIGS. In addition, the same code | symbol is attached | subjected and demonstrated to the same part as Embodiment 1 shown by FIGS.
As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the waterproof structure of the antenna housing 9 and the cover panel 10 in this electronic wristwatch is provided on each peripheral edge of the antenna housing 9 and the cover panel 10 and fitted to each other. The structure includes a joint portion 40, a fixing portion 41 to which parts corresponding to each other of the fitting portion 40 are fixed by ultrasonic welding, and a packing 42 disposed between the fitting portions 40. Has substantially the same structure as that of the first embodiment.

In this case, the packing 42 has a simple structure having a substantially circular cross-sectional shape. The fitting portion 40 includes a fitting convex portion 43 provided at the peripheral portion of the antenna housing portion 9 and a fitting concave portion 44 provided at the peripheral portion of the cover panel 10. A convex step 45 is provided on the side surface of the portion 41 side (the inner side located on the right side in FIG. 7), and a part of the convex step 45 is formed on the side surface of the fitting recess 44 facing this. A concave-side stepped portion 46 is provided that bites into and closely contacts. Moreover, the adhering part 41 is located in the inner lower part (lower right part in FIG. 7) of the fitting convex part 43 and the fitting concave part 44, and both are configured to be fixed by ultrasonic welding. .

In such a waterproof structure of the antenna housing portion 9 and the cover panel 10 in the electronic wristwatch, the cross section of the antenna housing portion 9 and the cover panel 10 has a substantially circular cross section between the fitting portions 40 in which the peripheral portions of the antenna housing portion 9 and the cover panel 10 are fitted. When the packing 42 is arranged and the fitting convex portion 43 and the fitting concave portion 44 of the fitting portion 40 are fitted, the side surface of the fitting convex portion 43 and the side surface of the fitting concave portion 44 that are located on the fixing portion 41 side. Are in close contact with each other, the concave side stepped portion 46 of the fitting concave portion 44 bites into close contact with a part of the convex side stepped portion 45 of the fitting convex portion 43 located on the fixing portion 41 side. That is, a part of the lower surface of the concave-side step part 46 of the fitting concave part 44 is in close contact with and a part of the upper surface of the convex-side step part 45 of the fitting convex part 43.

For this reason, even when the fixing portion 41 in the fitting portion 40 between the antenna housing portion 9 and the cover panel 10 is fixed by ultrasonic welding in this state, even if the resin of the fixing portion 41 melts, the fixing portion 41 side In the state where the side surface of the fitting convex portion 43 located at the side and the side surface of the fitting concave portion 44 are in close contact with each other, the concave side step portion 46 bites into and adheres to a part of the convex side step portion 45, so that it melts out. It is possible to prevent the resin of the fixing portion 41 from flowing into the close contact surface of the packing 42 in the fitting portion 40, thereby ensuring waterproofness and airtightness.

Also in this case, the fitting convexity is in a state in which the concave side stepped portion 46 of the fitting concave portion 44 bites into and closely contacts a part of the convex side stepped portion 45 provided on the side surface of the fitting convex portion 43 on the fixing portion 41 side. Since the portion 43 and the fitting recess 44 are fitted to each other to prevent the resin from flowing into the close contact surface of the packing 42, the antenna housing portion 9 and the cover panel 10 are arranged as in the conventional example shown in FIG. It is not necessary to provide the protective wall portion 30 for preventing the resin from flowing into the close contact surface of the packing 42 in the fitting portion 40. For this reason, in the second embodiment, as in the first embodiment, the thickness of the fitting portion 40 in the width direction (left and right lateral directions in FIG. 6) can be reduced compared to the conventional example, and the fitting protrusion The amount of biting (covering amount) in the height direction (vertical vertical direction in FIG. 6) between the portion 43 and the fitting recess 44 can be reduced, whereby the entire fitting portion 40 can be reduced.

(Embodiment 3)
Next, a third embodiment in which the present invention is applied to an electronic wristwatch will be described with reference to FIGS. In this case, the same parts as those in the first embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 5 and the second embodiment shown in FIGS.
As shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the waterproof structure of the antenna housing 9 and the cover panel 10 in this electronic wristwatch is provided on each peripheral edge of the antenna housing 9 and the cover panel 10 so as to be fitted to each other. A structure including a joint portion 50, a fixing portion 51 to which a part of the fitting portion 50 corresponding to each other is fixed by ultrasonic welding, and a packing 42 disposed between the fitting portions 50. Has substantially the same structure as in the first and second embodiments.

In this case, the packing 42 has a simple-shaped structure in which the cross-sectional shape is formed in a substantially circular shape as in the second embodiment. As shown in FIG. 9, the fitting part 50 includes a fitting convex part 52 provided on the peripheral part of the antenna housing part 9 and a fitting concave part 53 provided on the peripheral part of the cover panel 10. A substantially V-shaped groove portion 54 into which the packing 42 bites is provided at the front end surface of the joint convex portion 52. Moreover, the adhering part 51 is located in the inner lower part (lower right part in FIG. 9) of the fitting convex part 52 and the fitting concave part 53, and both are configured to be fixed by ultrasonic welding. .

In such a waterproof structure of the antenna storage portion 9 and the cover panel 10 in the electronic wristwatch, the cross section of the antenna storage portion 9 and the cover panel 10 has a substantially circular cross section between the fitting portions 50 in which the peripheral portions of the antenna storage portion 9 and the cover panel 10 are fitted. When the packing 42 is arranged and the fitting convex portion 52 and the fitting concave portion 53 of the fitting portion 50 are fitted, the groove portion 54 provided on the front end surface of the fitting convex portion 52 is formed in a substantially V shape. Therefore, the packing 42 can be caused to bite into the substantially V-shaped groove portion 54, whereby the packing 42 can be brought into pressure contact with the opposing surface in the substantially V-shaped groove portion 54.

Therefore, in this state, when the fixing portion 51 in the fitting portion 50 between the antenna housing portion 9 and the cover panel 10 is fixed by ultrasonic welding, the resin of the fixing portion 51 melts and flows into the packing 42 portion. However, since the packing 42 is in pressure contact with both of the opposing surfaces in the substantially V-shaped groove portion 54, waterproofness and airtightness can be ensured. In this case, even if the resin of the fixing portion 51 flows into the portion of the packing 42 pressed against one of the opposing surfaces of the substantially V-shaped groove portion 54, the packing is also applied to the other surface of the opposing surface of the groove portion 54. Since 42 is in pressure contact, waterproofing and airtightness can be ensured by the portion of the packing 42 in pressure contact with the other surface.

Also in this case, since the packing 42 is digged into the substantially V-shaped groove portion 54 provided on the front end surface of the fitting convex portion 52 to ensure waterproofness and airtightness, it is shown in FIG. Unlike the conventional example, the fitting portion 50 between the antenna housing portion 9 and the cover panel 10 does not need to be provided with the protective wall portion 30 for preventing the resin from flowing into the close contact surface of the packing 42. The side part 20 of the 1st packing 17 like the form 1 is unnecessary. For this reason, in the third embodiment, the thickness in the width direction of the fitting portion 50 can be further reduced as compared with the first embodiment, and the amount of biting in the height direction of the fitting convex portion 52 and the fitting concave portion 53 is increased. The (covering amount) can also be reduced, whereby the entire fitting portion 50 can be further reduced.

(Embodiment 4)
Next, a fourth embodiment in which the present invention is applied to an electronic wristwatch will be described with reference to FIGS. Also in this case, the same parts as those in the first embodiment shown in FIGS.
The waterproof structure of the antenna housing part 9 and the cover panel 10 in this electronic wristwatch is provided on each peripheral edge part of the antenna housing part 9 and the cover panel 10 as shown in FIGS. A structure including a joint portion 60, a fixing portion 61 to which parts corresponding to each other of the fitting portion 60 are fixed by ultrasonic welding, and a packing 62 disposed between the fitting portions 60. Has substantially the same structure as that of the first embodiment.

In this case, as shown in FIG. 10, the fitting part 60 includes a fitting convex part 63 provided on the peripheral part of the antenna housing part 9 and a fitting concave part 64 provided on the peripheral part of the cover panel 10. Thus, as in the third embodiment, a substantially V-shaped groove 65 into which the packing 62 bites is provided on the protruding front end surface of the fitting convex portion 63, and the fixing portion 61 side (see FIG. 11 is provided with a notch groove 66 on the inner side surface located on the right side. Moreover, the adhering part 61 is located in the inner lower part (lower right part in FIG. 11) of the fitting convex part 63 and the fitting concave part 64, and both are configured to be fixed by ultrasonic welding. .

As in the first embodiment, the packing 62 is formed by integrally combining a first packing portion 17 having a substantially L-shaped cross section and a second packing portion 18 having a substantially circular cross section with a synthetic resin such as rubber. It has a formed configuration. That is, as shown in FIG. 11, the first packing portion 17 is a flat portion disposed between the front end surface of the fitting convex portion 63 of the fitting portion 60 and the bottom surface of the fitting concave portion 64 facing the first packing portion 17. 19 and the side surface portion 20 disposed in the notch groove 66 positioned between the side surface of the fitting convex portion 63 located on the fixing portion 61 side and the side surface of the fitting concave portion 64 facing this, By forming the flat surface portion 19 and the side surface portion 20 integrally, the cross-sectional shape is formed in an approximately L shape. The second packing part 18 has a substantially circular cross-sectional shape and is formed integrally with the flat part 19 of the first packing part 17.

In such a waterproof structure of the antenna housing portion 9 and the cover panel 10 in the electronic wristwatch, the packing 62 is disposed between the fitting portions 50 in which the peripheral portions of the antenna housing portion 9 and the cover panel 10 are fitted to each other. Then, when the fitting convex portion 63 and the fitting concave portion 64 of the fitting portion 60 are fitted, the second packing of the packing 62 is inserted into the substantially V-shaped groove portion 65 provided on the front end surface of the fitting convex portion 63. Since the portion 18 bites in, as in the third embodiment, the packing 42 can be brought into pressure contact with the opposing surface in the substantially V-shaped groove portion 54, thereby ensuring waterproofness and airtightness.

At this time, in particular, the flat portion 19 of the first packing portion 17 and the second packing portion 18 having a substantially circular cross section are sandwiched between the front end surface of the fitting convex portion 15 and the bottom surface of the fitting concave portion 16 opposed thereto. Since the side part 20 of the first packing part 17 is sandwiched in the notch groove 66 between the side face of the fitting convex part 15 and the side face of the fitting concave part 16 on the fixing part 13 side, Similarly to the first embodiment, when the fixing portion 61 is ultrasonically welded, even if the resin of the fixing portion 61 melts, the side surface portion 20 of the first packing portion 17 causes the second packing portion 18 in the fitting portion 12 to be melted. Since it can be prevented from flowing into the close contact surface, and waterproofness and airtightness can be ensured by this as well, it is possible to obtain a product with much higher waterproofness and airtightness.

(Embodiment 5)
Next, a fifth embodiment in which the present invention is applied to an electronic wristwatch will be described with reference to FIGS. In this case, the same portions as those in the second embodiment shown in FIGS.
As shown in FIGS. 12 and 13, the waterproof structure of the antenna storage unit 9 and the cover panel 10 in this electronic wristwatch is provided on each peripheral edge of the antenna storage unit 9 and the cover panel 10 and fits to each other. A structure including a joint portion 70, a fixing portion 71 to which parts corresponding to each other of the fitting portion 70 are fixed by ultrasonic welding, and a packing 72 disposed between the fitting portions 70. Has substantially the same structure as that of the second embodiment.

In this case, the packing 72 has a simple structure with a substantially circular cross-sectional shape, as in the second embodiment. The fitting portion 70 includes a fitting convex portion 73 provided at the peripheral portion of the antenna housing portion 9 and a fitting concave portion 74 provided at the peripheral portion of the cover panel 10, and the tip of the fitting convex portion 73. A substantially V-shaped groove portion 75 into which the packing 72 bites is provided on the surface. Further, a convex-side stepped portion 76 is provided on the side surface of the fitting convex portion 73 on the fixing portion 71 side (the inner side located on the right side in FIG. 13), and on the side surface of the fitting concave portion 74 facing this. Are provided with a concave stepped portion 77 that bites into and closely contacts a part of the convex stepped portion 76. The adhering portion 71 is located at the inner lower portion (the lower right portion in FIG. 13) of the fitting convex portion 73 and the fitting concave portion 74, and is configured such that both of them are fixed by ultrasonic welding.

In such a waterproof structure of the antenna storage portion 9 and the cover panel 10 in the electronic wristwatch, a packing 62 is disposed between the fitting portions 50 where the peripheral portions of the antenna storage portion 9 and the cover panel 10 are fitted to each other. When the fitting convex portion 63 and the fitting concave portion 64 of the fitting portion 60 are fitted, the second packing portion of the packing 62 is inserted into the substantially V-shaped groove portion 75 provided on the front end surface of the fitting convex portion 63. Therefore, as in the third embodiment, the packing 42 can be brought into pressure contact with the opposing surfaces in the substantially V-shaped groove portion 54, thereby ensuring waterproofness and airtightness.

At this time, in particular, in a state where the side surface of the fitting convex portion 73 located on the fixing portion 71 side and the side surface of the fitting concave portion 74 are in close contact with each other, a fitting concave portion is formed on a part of the convex side step portion 76 of the fitting convex portion 73. Since the concave-side stepped portion 77 of 74 intrudes into close contact, even when the fixing portion 71 is ultrasonically welded as in the second embodiment, even if the resin of the fixing portion 71 is melted, the melted fixing portion 41 is melted. The resin can be prevented from flowing into the close contact surface of the packing 72 in the fitting portion 70, and this can also ensure waterproofness and airtightness. In addition, a highly airtight one can be obtained.

In the third to fifth embodiments, the substantially V-shaped grooves 54, 65, 75 into which the packings 42, 62, 72 bite are provided only on the front end surfaces of the fitting convex portions 52, 63, 73. Not limited to this, a substantially V-shaped groove portion into which the packings 42, 62, and 72 bite may also be provided on the bottom surfaces of the fitting recesses 53, 64, and 74 corresponding to the front end surfaces of the fitting convex portions 52, 63, and 73. In this way, it is possible to obtain a further waterproof and airtight material.

Moreover, in the said Embodiments 1-5 and its modification, fitting part 12,40,50,60,70 has fitting convex part 15,43,52,63,73 in the peripheral part of the antenna accommodating part 9. FIG. The case where the fitting recesses 16, 44, 53, 64, and 74 are provided at the peripheral edge of the cover panel 10 has been described. A structure in which a mating concave portion is provided and a fitting convex portion is provided on the peripheral edge portion of the cover panel 10 may be employed.

Further, in the first to fifth embodiments and the modifications thereof, the antenna housing portion 9 is provided in the band attaching portion 7 of the watch case 1, and the antenna 8 is housed in the antenna housing portion 9 so that the cover panel 10 is ultrasonically welded. However, the present invention is not limited to this. For example, the invention can also be applied to the case where the watch glass 3 is attached to the central portion of the upper surface of the watch case 1 by ultrasonic welding.

Furthermore, in the above-described first to fifth embodiments and the modifications thereof, the case where the present invention is applied to an electronic wristwatch has been described. can do.
