(開封用タブ)
本発明の易開封性容器蓋において、蓋部材に設けられた開口を覆うための開封用タブは、前述した通り、可撓性タブ部材とプラグ部材から成り、可撓性タブ部材は単一の可撓性部材を2つに折り曲げて、蓋部材に接着固定され密封性を確保するための密封部及び密封部を引き剥がすための把持部となる折り返し部とすることにより成っている。
可撓性タブ部材は、通常この種の容器蓋に用いられる開封片やタブ構成部材に用いられるものを使用でき、一般的には、金属箔の両面に樹脂皮膜が形成された積層体から成るものが、引き剥がしに際して破断したり或いは伸びたりすることがなく、可撓性と開封性のバランスに優れており、またガスバリヤー性や耐腐食性にも優れているので特に好ましい。

This is particularly preferable because it does not break or stretch when peeled, has an excellent balance between flexibility and openability, and has excellent gas barrier properties and corrosion resistance.

また可撓性タブ部材は、前述した通り、少なくとも蓋部材と接する側の面に接着性樹脂から成る層を有することが、生産性の点から好ましいが、勿論接着剤により接着固定することも可能である。接着層を可撓性タブ部材の両面に設ける場合は特に必要ないが、接着層を可撓性タブ部材の一方の面に設ける場合には、前述した通り、折り返し部の端部を折り曲げ又はカール加工することにより、折り返し部を蓋部材又は密封部と容易に接着固定することが可能である。
接着層は、オレフィン系樹脂、ポリエステル樹脂等の従来公知のヒートシール性樹脂により形成することができる。
可撓性タブ部材としては、これに限定されないが、(蓋部材側)PP/アルミニウム箔/PET等の積層体を好適に用いることができる。

(蓋部材)
本発明の蓋部材は、予め開口部及びガス抜き孔が設けられており、かかる開口部及びガス抜きの端縁は外側に向けて折り曲げ或いはカール処理されているか、或いはポリエステル樹脂やポリプロピレンなどのオレフィン系樹脂により樹脂被覆されていることが好ましい。これにより開口端縁がスムーズで接触しても切り傷などの損傷を与えることがなく、且つ腐食性にも優れている。また開口部においてはリシールを繰り返してもプラグ部材を傷つけることがなく、良好な嵌合状態を長期にわたって維持できる。またガス抜き孔では、開口部に比して小径であることから、塗料による樹脂被覆(塗膜)を施すことにより、端縁処理することが好適である。また蓋部材の周縁部には、缶胴体部との巻き締め加工による密閉接合が可能なように巻締加工部が形成されていることが好適である。

蓋部材は、従来缶蓋に用いられていた素材から形成することができるが、開封用タブを接着固定する蓋部材表面は、開封用タブの密封部又は折り返し部とも熱接着性を有するように、ヒートシール樹脂から成る被膜が設けられていることが好ましい。一方、蓋部材の内面側は開封用タブ及びプラグ部材に対し、非接着性であることが可撓性タブ部材やプラグ部材と密着することがなく、開封性の点から好ましい。
蓋部材に形成するガス抜き孔の大きさは、蓋部材の径によっても相違するが、一般には、0.5乃至5mm、特に1乃至2mmの範囲にあることが好ましい。この範囲にあることにより、有効なガス抜きが可能であると共に、ガス抜き孔からの内容物の漏洩或いは容器内部への異物の侵入を防止することができ、リシール性を損なうことがない。

By being in this range, effective degassing is possible and leakage of contents from the degassing holes or intrusion of foreign matter into the container can be prevented, and resealability is not impaired.

(プラグ部材)
本発明の易開封性容器蓋においては、開封用タブの密封部内面にプラグ部材が接着一体化されていることにより、リシール性、耐圧性や耐衝撃性等が確保されると共に、容器の密封性をより向上させることができる。
プラグ部材としては、これに限定されないが、樹脂製プラグと金属製プラグが使用できる。比較的低温で使用される容器や腐食性内容物を収容する容器、或いは高い耐圧性能が求められない容器などの場合には柔軟でシール弾性に富み、繰り返しのリシールが可能な樹脂製プラグを使用することが好ましく、一方ホット充填、レトルト処理など特に高い温度に曝される容器や高い耐圧性能が求められる容器、或いはプラグ部材の厚さが制限される容器などには高強度で高温耐性に優れた金属製又は樹脂被覆金属製のプラグを使用することが好ましい。

金属製プラグに用いる金属材料としては、これに限定されないが、アルミニウム、スチールなどを挙げることができ、樹脂被覆金属の場合は、可撓性タブ部材と接する面に、該部材と接着性を有する樹脂被覆、たとえばポリプロピレン等の被膜が形成されていることが好ましく、蓋部材と接する面は、内容物に対する耐腐食性を有する樹脂被覆、例えばポリエステル等の被膜が形成されていることが好ましい。

Claims (3)

予め形成された開口部及びガス抜き孔を備えた蓋部材と該蓋部材の外面側に該開口部を覆い且つ開口周辺部で密封接着するように施された開封用タブとから成り、該開封用タブが、可撓性タブ部材と該タブ部材に接着一体化すると共に前記蓋部材の開口部に嵌合可能に形成されたプラグ部材とから成る易開封性容器蓋において、
前記開封用タブは、前記蓋部材の外面側に接着固定される密封部と、該密封部と接続する折り返し部から成り、該折り返し部は少なくとも前記ガス抜き孔を密封するように蓋部材外面側に接着固定されており、該折り返し部を蓋部材外面側から剥離することにより開口部よりも先にガス抜き孔が開通することを特徴とする易開封性容器蓋。
