Abstract
【解決手段】 回転ブロワの捩り減衰機構は、入力ハブ52と、出力ハブ64と、入力軸48に固定てされて共に回転する入力側端部72及びタイミングギヤ62に固定されて共に回転する出力側端部74を有する捩りばね70とを含む。ハウジング42は、一定量の流体を収容する室44を形成し、タイミングギヤ62の回転により、室44内に空気−オイルミストが生じる。入出力ハブ52、64は、これらの間で捩りばね70の入出力側端部72、74の中間に軸方向隙間82を形成する。出力ハブ64は、軸方向隙間82に連通する径方向外側端部84及び出力ハブ64の軸方向反対側端部に連通する径方向内側端部を有する傾斜通路を形成し、回転によって、傾斜通路、軸方向隙間82及びハブの外側円筒状表面68と捩りばね70の内側表面76との間を通る空気−オイルミストの流れが生じる。

Claims (5)
- ハウジング(42)と、該ハウジング内に配置されて低圧の入口ポート空気を高圧の出口ポート空気に移送する噛合わされたローブを有する第1ロータ(28)及び第2ロータ(29)と、前記第1ロータ(28)及び前記第2ロータ(29)に、それぞれ固定されて、これらと共に回転し、前記噛合わされたローブの接触を防止するために噛合わされた第1タイミングギヤ(62)及び第2タイミングギヤ(63)と、正のトルクによって回転駆動されて、周期的に燃焼するエンジンの速度に比例する速度で一定の駆動方向に軸(A)回りに回転する入力ドライブ(48)と、該入力ドライブ(48)から前記第1タイミングギヤ(62)にエンジントルクを伝達するための捩り減衰機構とを備え、
該捩り減衰機構は、前記入力ドライブ(48)に固定されて共に回転する第1部材(52)と、前記第1タイミングギヤ(62)に固定されて共に回転する第2部材(64)と、前記入力ドライブ(48)に固定されて共に回転する入力側端部(72)及び前記第1タイミングギヤ(62)に固定されて共に回転する出力側端部(74)を有し、前記第1部材(52)及び前記第2部材(64)によって形成された外側円筒状表面(68)を接近した間隔をもって取囲む通常状態の内径(76)を形成する捩りばね(70)とを含み、
(a)前記ハウジング(42)は、一定量の流体を収容する室(44)を形成し、これにより、前記第1タイミングギヤ(62)及び前記第2タイミングギヤ(63)の回転によって前記室内(44)に空気−オイルミストを生成し、
(b)前記第1部材(52)及び前記第2部材(64)は、これらの間に、前記捩りばね(70)の前記入力側端部(72)と前記出力側端部(74)との軸方向中間に配置される軸方向隙間(82)を形成し、
(c)前記第1部材(52)及び前記第2部材(64)の一方は、前記軸方向隙間(82)に連通する径方向外側端部及び当該部材の軸方向反対側端部に連通する径方向内側端部を有する傾斜通路(86)を形成し、これにより、前記第1及び第2部材の回転が、前記傾斜通路(86)、前記軸方向隙間(82)、並びに、前記第1及び第2部材(52、64)の前記外側円筒状表面(68)と前記捩りばね(70)の前記内径(76)との間を通る空気−オイルミストの流れ発生させることを特徴とする回転ブロワ。 - 前記入力ドライブは、入力軸(48)に固定されて共に回転する入力プーリ(46)を含み、前記第1部材(52)は、前記入力軸(48)に固定されて共に回転することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回転ブロワ。
- 前記第1部材は、前記入力軸(48)に固定されて共に回転する入力ハブ部材(52)を含み、前記第2部材は、タイミングギヤ軸(60)に固定されて共に回転する出力ハブ部材(64)含み、前記第1タイミングギヤ(62)は、前記タイミングギヤ軸(60)に固定されて共に回転することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の回転ブロワ。
- 前記入力ハブ部材(52)は、前記捩りばね(70)によって形成される外側円筒状表面(78)を接近した間隔をもって取囲む略円筒状部分(56)を含み、該略円筒状部分(56)は、前記空気−オイルミストの前記流れを促進する複数の開口(88)を形成していることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の回転ブロワ。
- 前記螺旋状の捩りばね(70)は、略正方形又は長方形の断面を有するコイルを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回転ブロワ。
