Abstract
【解決手段】パウチ型リチウム二次電池30は、正極集電体と当該正極集電体の少なくとも一面に付着された正極活物質層とよりなる正極板、負極集電体と当該負極集電体の少なくとも一面に付着された負極活物質層とよりなる負極板、および正極板と負極板との間に配置されてそれらを相互に絶縁させるセパレータを備える電池部31と、正極集電体と電気的に接続された正極タブ35と、負極集電体と電気的に接続された負極タブ37と、電池部31が収容される空間部331を提供し、空間部331の端縁に沿って熱融着される密閉面322,332が形成されたケース310とを有しており、正極タブ35およびケース310には、電気的に接続された構造によって同じ正極電位が印加される。

Description
図3Aは、本発明の第1の実施の形態によるリチウム二次電池30を示したものであり、図3Bは、図3Aの電池部31を図示したものであり、図3Cは、図3Aのケース310を図示したものである。
図5は、本発明の第2の実施の形態によるリチウム二次電池50を図示したものである。
図8は、ケースが結合された状態における本発明の第3の実施の形態によるパウチ型リチウム二次電池の一部を切断して図示した断面図である。
図3Aないし図4Bのようなパウチ型リチウム二次電池30を構成するために、パウチ型のケース310を備え、ケース310の空間部331に、正極板32、セパレータ34、負極板33の順に配置されて巻かれたジェリーロール型の電池部31を収容した。
ケースの上部および下部密閉面に接する全領域において、正極および負極用絶縁テープに正極および負極用絶縁テープを巻いて被覆した。また、正極タブにノッチ部を形成せず、ケースに内皮層を剥離させずに正極タブとケースとが相互に絶縁した。以上の点を除いて実施例と同じ方法によって、パウチ型リチウム二次電池を完成させた。

Claims (15)
- 正極集電体と当該正極集電体の少なくとも一面に付着された正極活物質層とよりなる正極板、負極集電体と当該負極集電体の少なくとも一面に付着された負極活物質層とよりなる負極板、および前記正極板と前記負極板の間に配置されてそれらを相互に絶縁させるセパレータ、を備える電池部と、
前記正極集電体と電気的に接続された正極タブと、
前記負極集電体と電気的に接続された負極タブと、
前記電池部が収容される空間部を提供し、前記空間部の端縁に沿って熱融着される密閉面が形成されたケースと、
前記正極タブおよび前記ケースに同じ正極電位を印加するための正極印加部と、を含むことを特徴とするパウチ型リチウム二次電池。 - 前記ケースは、金属薄板よりなる中間層と、前記中間層上においてケース内側に対応する面に付着された内皮層と、前記中間層上においてケース外側に対応する面に付着された外皮層と、を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。
- 前記正極印加部は、前記中間層が部分的に露出した部位と前記正極タブとを電気的に接続した部分であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。
- 前記正極印加部は、前記内皮層が部分的に剥離されて所定領域が露出された中間層と前記正極タブの表面とを接触させた部分を含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。
- 前記正極印加部は、前記密閉面の先端部における断面で露出されている中間層と前記正極タブの表面とを接触させた部分を含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。
- 前記正極印加部は、前記外皮層が部分的に剥離されて所定領域が露出された中間層と前記正極タブの表面とを接触させた部分を含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。
- 前記正極板から引き出される前記正極タブは、前記密閉面に接する所で、正極用密閉テープによって被覆された被覆領域と被覆されていない非被覆領域とを有し、
前記中間層は、前記正極タブの前記非被覆領域に対応して前記内皮層が部分的に剥離されて所定領域が露出されており、
前記正極印加部は、前記非被覆領域の正極タブと前記所定領域の中間層とを接触させて電気的に接続した部分を含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。 - 前記正極タブの非被覆部分には、電気的接触を強化させるために、前記中間層と接触する部分にノッチ部が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。
- 前記正極板から引き出される前記正極タブは、前記密閉面に接する所で正極用密閉テープによって被覆された被覆領域を有する一方、前記密閉面の先端部で折り曲げられる部分では前記正極用密閉テープによって被覆されていない非被覆領域を有し、
前記正極印加部は、前記非被覆領域の正極タブと前記密閉面の先端部における断面で露出されている中間層とを接触させて電気的に接続した部分を含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。 - 前記正極印加部は、さらに、前記外皮層が部分的に剥離され所定領域が露出された中間層と前記非被覆領域の正極タブとを電気的に接続した部分を含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。
- 前記負極板から引き出される前記負極タブは、前記密閉面の先端部で折り曲げられる部分で負極用密閉テープによって被覆されており、前記密閉面の先端部で露出された中間層に対して電気的に絶縁されていることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。
- 前記正極印加部は、導電性のピンを利用して前記ケースと前記正極タブとを貫通させて前記ケースと前記正極タブとを電気的に接続したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。
- 前記中間層はアルミニウム箔であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。
- 前記正極タブはアルミニウム板であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。
- 前記負極タブはニッケル板であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパウチ型リチウム二次電池。
