Abstract
Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a high-frequency module for processing a high-frequency signal and a high-frequency device equipped with the same.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As communication devices become mobile and wireless, there is a demand for lighter, thinner and smaller devices. As a result, small modularized elements such as hybrid ICs and multichip modules have come to be used in transceivers mounted on communication devices.
[0003]
However, since a communication transceiver handles high-frequency signals of several GHz to several tens of GHz, if a small element is used, isolation inside the element may be insufficient, and an input signal and an output signal may be combined. In particular, active elements such as amplifiers and filters may cause signal oscillation, frequency characteristic deterioration, and the like, thereby reducing communication quality.
[0004]
Therefore, in communication transceivers that handle high-frequency signals, various countermeasures have been taken as shown in (1) to (3) below in order to prevent coupling of input signals and output signals.
[0005]
(1) The periphery of an element that handles high-frequency signals is covered with a waveguide, and this waveguide is caused to function as a shield cover.
[0006]
(2) A radio wave absorber is provided around an element that handles high frequency signals, and electromagnetic waves generated by this radio wave absorber are absorbed.
[0007]
(3) Increase the distance between the input side and output side of the element that handles high-frequency signals to ensure spatial isolation.
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the methods {circle around (1)} to {circle around (3)} have problems such as an increase in circuit size, an increase in the number of parts, and a complicated assembly process.
[0009]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a small high-frequency module capable of preventing coupling of an input signal and an output signal and a high-frequency device equipped with the same. .
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-described problems and achieve the object, the high-frequency module of the present invention and the high-frequency device equipped with the same are configured as follows.
[0011]
(1) a circuit board having a conductor layer, an input section and an output section, provided on the surface of the board for processing a high-frequency signal, and sandwiching the circuit construction element; A first bump row and a second bump row are provided in parallel along a direction connecting the input portion and the output portion, and are electrically connected to the conductor layer.
[0012]
(2) In the high-frequency module described in (1), the first bump row and the second bump row are substantially parallel to each other.
[0013]
(3) In the high-frequency module described in (1), the distance between the first bump row and the second bump row is ½ of the wavelength of the high-frequency signal input to the circuit component. It is characterized by being set smaller.
[0014]
(4) In the high-frequency module described in (1), a distance between a plurality of bumps constituting the first bump row and the second bump row is a wavelength of a high-frequency signal input to the circuit constituent element. It is characterized by being set to be smaller than 1/4.
[0015]
(5) A parent substrate having a first conductor layer on the surface, a child substrate having a second conductor layer disposed opposite to the surface of the parent substrate, an input unit and an output unit, A circuit component for processing a high-frequency signal provided between the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer on a surface of the substrate facing the parent substrate, and between the parent substrate and the child substrate A plurality of the circuit components arranged in parallel along the direction connecting the input portion and the output portion of the circuit components, and electrically connecting the first conductor layer and the second conductor layer. And a bump.

[0032]
FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing a configuration of a general waveguide D. FIG.
[0033]
The waveguide D has a cutoff wavelength λ C determined by its shape. This cut-off wavelength λ C is a wavelength at which the transmitted electromagnetic wave is attenuated. An electromagnetic wave having a wavelength longer than the cut-off wavelength λ C gradually attenuates and disappears in the course of transmission, and is shorter than the cut-off wavelength λ C. Wavelength electromagnetic waves propagate through the waveguide D without being attenuated.
[0034]
The cutoff wavelength λ C derived for the waveguide D shown in FIG. 4 is shown in the following [Equation 1], and the attenuation constant K at the time of attenuation is shown in the following [Equation 2]. The width dimension of the waveguide D is a, the height dimension is b, and the length dimension is L.

The cutoff wavelength λ C1 of the TE10 mode derived from [Equation 1] is shown in [Equation 3] below.

[Equation 3]
[0039]
The cutoff wavelength λ C1 in the TE10 mode shown in [Equation 3] is the longest among all modes. Therefore, if the value of the width dimension a of the waveguide D is set so that the cutoff wavelength λ C1 is shorter than the wavelength λ of the target electromagnetic wave, that is, the condition shown in the following [Equation 4] is satisfied, Electromagnetic waves can be reliably attenuated in the process of transmission.
[0040]
[Expression 4]
[0041]
As can be seen from [Equation 4], if the width dimension a of the waveguide D is made smaller than λ / 2, it can be seen that the electromagnetic wave is attenuated in the process of transmission.
