【0066】
S(t)=a(t)・cosω1t・cosωct+a(t)・sinω1t・sin(−ωct)・・・(1)
S(t)=(a(t)/2)(cos(ω1+ωc)t+cos(ω1−ωc)t)+(a(t)/2)(cos(ω1+ωc)t−cos(ω1−ωc)t)
S(t)=a(t)cos(ω1+ωc)t
【0070】
S(t)=a(t)cos(ω1+ωc)t+Va×cos(ωct+φ)・・・(4)
【0076】
S(t)=a(t)cos(ω1+ωc)t+Va×cos(ωct+φ)+Vb×cos(ωct)・・・(5)

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a frequency conversion device and a frequency conversion method, for example, a frequency conversion device and a frequency conversion method for up-converting a transmission signal from a baseband frequency to a radio frequency.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, transmission apparatuses used for communication and broadcasting often transmit digitally modulated signals. Such a transmitting apparatus generally transmits a baseband signal after orthogonally modulating the baseband signal with a carrier and upconverting the carrier to a radio frequency. For quadrature modulation, a quadrature modulator that mixes and adds a baseband signal and two local oscillation signals whose phases are different from each other by 90 degrees is often used.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the case of using the image rejection type frequency conversion means, the conventional frequency conversion device and the conventional frequency conversion method convert the leaked local oscillation signal component into a transmission signal frequency-converted from a baseband signal to a radio frequency using a mixer. There is a case where a DC offset voltage which is a DC voltage component shown is included, and there is a problem that a leaked local oscillation signal component becomes an interference component of a transmission signal.
[0009]
In order to prevent the leaked local oscillation signal component from being included in the transmission signal, it is necessary to remove the leaked local oscillation signal component from the transmission signal. Such a leaked local oscillation signal can be removed by the BPF. However, when the D / A converter converts the signal into an analog signal by oversampling, there is a limit to the sampling frequency. The frequency band of the quadrature modulation signal cannot be increased. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 13, the frequency f2 of the local
[0010]
For example, when the sampling frequency of the D / A conversion is 80 MHz and the oversample is 4, the analog-converted signal is 20 MHz. When this is up-converted to 1 GHz, for example, the frequency of the local oscillation signal component is 980 MHz, and the image component generated by the mixer is 960 MHz. When the signal bandwidth is 4 MHz, the pass band is 998 MHz to 1002 MHz. To suppress both the local oscillation signal component and the image component, a steep BPF that suppresses the signal at 980 MHz is required. In order to realize this, there is a problem that the BPF becomes very large and expensive, and the circuit scale and the entire device become large and expensive.
[0011]
The present invention has been made in view of the above point, and a frequency conversion device capable of suppressing an interference component included in a transmission signal to a level that does not hinder communication at a low cost without increasing the circuit scale and the entire device. And a frequency conversion method.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The frequency conversion device according to the present invention includes: a quadrature modulation unit that quadrature modulates an I component of a low-frequency signal and a Q component of the low-frequency signal to generate a first modulation signal and a second modulation signal whose phases are different from each other by 90 degrees; Mixing a first local oscillation signal and a second local oscillation signal having phases different from each other by 90 degrees with the first modulation signal and the second modulation signal generated by the quadrature modulation means, Mixing means for converting the frequency of the second modulated signal into a high-frequency signal; detecting means for detecting the level of a leaky local oscillation signal component included in the high-frequency signal frequency-converted by the mixing means; An offset for adjusting the voltage value of the signal or the second modulation signal to suppress the level of the leaked local oscillation signal component included in the high frequency signal detected by the detection unit. And control means, the arrangement comprising a filter means for removing from said high-frequency signal to the leakage local oscillation signal component level is suppressed by the offset control unit take.
[0013]
According to this configuration, for example, a local oscillation signal component that leaks when frequency conversion is performed from a baseband signal to a radio frequency is detected, and feedback is performed so that the level of the leaked local oscillation signal component is suppressed. Since the voltage value of the signal or the second modulation signal is adjusted, and the level of the leaked local oscillation signal component is suppressed and then the leaked local oscillation signal component is removed, a filter having a steep attenuation characteristic is not required. The size and the entire device can be reduced, and the interference component included in the transmission signal can be suppressed at a low cost to a level that does not hinder communication.
[0014]
The frequency conversion device of the present invention, in the above-mentioned configuration, further comprises digital / analog conversion means for converting the first modulation signal and the second modulation signal generated by the quadrature modulation means from a digital signal to an analog signal, The offset control means adopts a configuration that suppresses the level of the leak local oscillation signal component by changing a voltage value at the time of digital / analog conversion by the digital / analog conversion means.
[0015]
According to this configuration, in addition to the above-described effects, the voltage adjustment for suppressing the level of the local oscillation signal component is performed simultaneously with the digital / analog conversion, so that a special circuit for suppressing the level of the local oscillation signal component is provided. There is no need to provide them, and the circuit scale and the entire device can be further reduced in size.
[0016]
The frequency conversion device of the present invention, in the above configuration, further includes an addition / subtraction unit that adds or subtracts a predetermined voltage value to or from the voltage value of the first modulation signal or the voltage value of the second modulation signal, The means is configured to control the adding / subtracting means such that the level of the leakage local oscillation signal component is suppressed.
[0017]
According to this configuration, in addition to the above effects, the level of the local oscillation signal component is suppressed by adding or subtracting a voltage value to or from the voltage value of the first modulation signal or the second modulation signal. Accordingly, the level of the local oscillation signal component can be suppressed, the circuit can be easily manufactured, and the processing time for frequency conversion can be prevented from being prolonged due to the removal of the local oscillation signal.
[0018]
In the frequency conversion device of the present invention, in the above configuration, the detection means mixes the detection local oscillation signal having a frequency different from the frequencies of the first local oscillation signal and the second local oscillation signal with the high frequency signal. By assigning the leaked local oscillation signal component to the low frequency side, by performing frequency conversion so that non-detection signal components other than the leaked local oscillation signal component are assigned to the high frequency side, the non-detection component was removed by a filter. A configuration is adopted in which the leaked local oscillation signal component is detected by detection later.
[0019]
According to this configuration, in addition to the above-described effects, the leaked local oscillation signal component is frequency-converted to a lower frequency side and then detected by the filter. A local oscillation signal component can be detected.
[0020]
The frequency conversion device of the present invention, in the above-described configuration, a frequency dividing means for generating a frequency-divided signal by frequency-dividing a sampling clock signal when digital-to-analog conversion of the first modulation signal and the second modulation signal is performed, Local oscillation signal generating means for generating a local oscillation signal; and generating the first local oscillation signal and the second local oscillation signal by changing a phase of the local oscillation signal generated by the local oscillation signal generating means. Phase detecting means, wherein the detecting means mixes the local oscillation signal generated by the local oscillation signal generating means with the frequency-divided signal generated by the frequency dividing means, thereby detecting the local area for detection. A configuration for generating an oscillation signal is employed.
[0021]
According to this configuration, in addition to the above-described effects, the local oscillation signal used for frequency conversion from a low frequency signal to a high frequency signal and the local oscillation signal used for detecting a leaked local oscillation signal component are the same. Since the local oscillation signal can be generated by the local oscillation signal generation means, the circuit scale can be reduced, and the noise component generated when the local oscillation signal is generated can be reduced as much as possible.
[0022]
A transmission device according to the present invention employs a configuration including any one of the frequency conversion devices described above.
[0023]
According to this configuration, for example, a local oscillation signal component that leaks when frequency conversion is performed from a baseband signal to a radio frequency is detected, and feedback is performed so that the level of the leaked local oscillation signal component is suppressed. Since the voltage value of the signal or the second modulation signal is adjusted, and the level of the leaked local oscillation signal component is suppressed and then the leaked local oscillation signal component is removed, a filter having a steep attenuation characteristic is not required. The scale and the entire transmitter can be reduced, and the interference component included in the transmission signal can be suppressed at a low cost to a level that does not interfere with communication, and the receiver can receive error-free data.
[0024]
In the frequency conversion method according to the present invention, a step of orthogonally modulating an I component of a low frequency signal and a Q component of a low frequency signal to generate a first modulation signal and a second modulation signal having phases different from each other by 90 degrees, A first local oscillation signal and a second local oscillation signal having phases different from each other by 90 degrees are mixed with the first modulation signal and the second modulation signal to change the frequency from the first modulation signal and the second modulation signal to a high frequency signal. Converting, detecting the level of the leakage local oscillation signal component included in the high frequency signal, and adjusting the voltage value of the first modulation signal or the second modulation signal, Suppressing the level of the leaked local oscillation signal component included therein, and removing the leaked local oscillation signal component whose level has been suppressed from the high frequency signal. Was to so that.
[0025]
According to this method, for example, a local oscillation signal component that leaks when frequency conversion is performed from a baseband signal to a radio frequency is detected, and feedback is performed so that the level of the leaked local oscillation signal component is suppressed.
[0026]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
The gist of the present invention is a first modulation signal and a second modulation signal having an intermediate frequency different from each other by 90 degrees generated by orthogonally modulating a baseband signal, and a first local oscillation signal and a second modulation signal having a phase different from each other by 90 degrees. A local oscillation signal is mixed and up-converted from an intermediate frequency to a radio frequency to generate a transmission signal, a level of a leaked local oscillation signal component included in the generated transmission signal is detected, and a level of the leaked local oscillation signal component is detected. After adjusting the DC offset voltage values of the first modulation signal and the second modulation signal so that the level is suppressed, the BPF is used to remove the local oscillation signal component whose level is suppressed from the transmission signal.
