Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の光位相変調器を利用した光伝送システムは、搬送波及びNRZデータを受信して位相を変調し、搬送波及びNRZデータをフィルタリングして、デュオバイナリ信号を出力するデュオバイナリ変調部100と、デュオバイナリ変調部から生成されたNRZ形態のデュオバイナリ信号及び所定の周期のクロック信号を印加してデュオバイナリキャリア抑制RZ信号を出力する変調器を備えるキャリア抑制RZ信号生成部200と、から構成される。

Claims (7)
- NRZデータに基づいて光搬送波の位相を変調してからフィルタリングして、デュオバイナリ信号を出力するデュオバイナリ変調部と、
前記デュオバイナリ変調部から生成されたNRZ形態のデュオバイナリ信号を所定の周期のクロック信号で変調してデュオバイナリキャリア抑制RZ信号を出力する変調器を備えるキャリア抑制RZ信号生成部と、
から構成されることを特徴とする光位相変調器を利用した光伝送システム。 - デュオバイナリ変調部及びキャリア抑制RZ生成部の前後段関係を逆にした請求項1記載の光位相変調器を利用した光伝送システム。
- デュオバイナリ変調部は、
受信されるNRZデータを符号化するデュオバイナリプリコーダと、
前記デュオバイナリプリコーダによって符号化されたデータを変調器駆動ができるように増幅する増幅器と、
前記増幅信号によって、入力される光搬送波の位相を変調する光位相変調器と、
前記位相変調光信号をフィルタリングしてデュオバイナリ信号を出力する光帯域通過フィルタと、
から構成される請求項1記載の光位相変調器を利用した光伝送システム。 - 光位相変調器は、変調の程度を示す変調指数を調整して特性を調節する請求項3記載の光位相変調器を利用した光伝送システム。
- 光帯域通過フィルタは、0.7/T(Tは、ビット率)の帯域幅を有して位相変調光信号をフィルタリングする請求項3記載の光位相変調器を利用した光伝送システム。
- 光帯域通過フィルタは、歪みなしで伝送できる範囲内で帯域幅を調節してフィルタリングする請求項3記載の光位相変調器を利用した光伝送システム。
- キャリア抑制RZ生成部の変調器は、デュオバイナリ変調部からNRZ形態のデュオバイナリ信号を受信して伝達曲線のヌルポイントで所定の周期のクロックを印加することでキャリア抑制RZ信号を発生するチャープフリーマッハツェンダ変調器である請求項1記載の光位相変調器を利用した光伝送システム。
